The area by the back dock is treachero us. The 20 foot and 26 foot trucks have a hard time backing into the area. There are too many trailers and hitches in the way to back up correctly when people have a trailer on the back of the truck, they proceed too far into the driving area, which can cause an accident. Something needs to change.

Daniel B | First ImpressionsMore than once, I had employees parking in front of my storage unit if I’m gonna pay $300 a month for a drive up storage unit there should be no parking in front of it. I mentioned it once before and it continued to happen and that’s why I moved out.

Jay F | Overall ExperienceThis was our second time storing at the Prescott U-Hail indoor facility. Both times were a great and easy experience. Love that they don’t require prior notice to move out and hold you to an additional months rent. But at the same time, I know it is hard to secure a unit with them, so they don’t seem to have any stressors filling units. The only reason why we left was because they did not have larger units available. Checked regularly for one of their largest units for months without success. Again, another testimony to how full their facility is. People seem to hang onto their units. Thanks!

Marie S | Overall ExperienceOnly one staff member was in the office talking to a guy about renovating a car. We were standing there waiting to check in and get our unit and card key. We finally decided to leave when he said someone else would be with us. There was no one else in the store but someone did come in from outside shortly thereafter. Bad first impression.

wayne m | First ImpressionsThe only problem I had is my tools were kept in my storage and I would show up at 7 and on many occasions the door was still locked. My saws do not fit thru the little door. And I don’t have time to go to the front and ask. If it wasn’t for that it was excellent. I wouldn’t leave but between road construction and now having to make U-turns to get there, it has just become inconvenient to get to the unit. I will still continue to rent trailers and trucks and will always recommend to everyone cuz I’ve been a customer forever. Thank you for all your help and being helpful.

Reception at the end of our move was helpful and directive. Don’t think I’ll move again, but if I do U-HAUL will be on my calling list!!
Jack H | First ImpressionsIt was disappointing that we had mice in our unit. They nested in our couch and we were unable to salvage the couch. There was a mouse trap in our unit but it was placed in the back of the unit. I think the facility should recommend placing the traps near the front of the units in order to change them out periodically. We had this unit for 5 and a half years. It seems like we only noticed the mouse droppings in the last year. I think it would help if the staff would recommend storage insurance in case of rodent damage. Luckily, the rest of our items were unharmed by the mice.
