Mouse infestation ruined all my contents. Trap inside was empty. Very disappointed and really sad. No sympathy from staff, called claims department and didn’t get a return call.

I had $1000's of dollars in damage to my personal items beds and other furniture due to the amount a mice like more then 100 it's mouse infested I took pictures and reported to the uhaul staff they didn't seem to care and told me yes we know but they couldn't do anything about them, staff were very rude and unfriendly im very upset with all the damage that was done and the lack of respect or responsibility I will never every rent anything from uhaul again. Take my opinion, experience and loss and tears do not rent from uhaul im in tears I lost so much now I have to throw away things and spend money to get things back please please do not go to uhaul.

DWIGHT D | Overall ExperienceNo lighting within unit. Ceilings within unit only 6 feet which is not as photograped on facility posters/ modeled in store. Swinging doors with no door sweeps or seals. Shared facility with Uhaul who left their rear overhead door open, sometimes 8+ hours. As a result there are birds in facility rafters, various bugs inside (lots of moths), and mice entered my unit twice within one year despite my moving to another unit. Destroyed my prized-posession, a sectional couch with mice urine, feces, and scratches. Although my original unit was paid staff threw out my belongings without consulting me. Uhaul claims department failed to address all my claimed items and didn't follow case precedent to compensate me fairly nor fully. Reneged on their settlement offer. Ultimately, moved to a cleaner storage facility with regular pest control. When moving out with a competitors vehicle, staff threatened to tow it. Highly dissapointed with Uhaul storage experience. Would recommend customers take their business elsewhere.

James K | Overall ExperienceI first ordered a moving truck and storage unit. My reservation was all messed up the staff was not helpful. I was charged way to much for a truck with the amount of issues I had with no compensation or apologies. I was given a very small compensation but the truck was empty so I had to use the money to put gas in the truck than had to put more gas in the truck at the end of the move. The storage unit was inconvenient to get to and way to expensive. I'll never use uhaul or recommend it to anyone. This was a extremely horrible experience.
