U-Haul Expands Disaster Relief Locations in Oregon for Eagle Creek Fire
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (Sept. 5, 2017) — U-Haul Company of Western Oregon is now offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents who have been or will be impacted by the Eagle Creek Fire.
The gesture follows U-Haul Company of Portland’s offer earlier on Tuesday to extend 30 days of free U-Box to those needing to evacuate in and around Gresham. Read that disaster relief announcement here.
The latest participating locations are in Sherwood and Tualatin.
“This fire just continues to swell,” said Shannon Marvin, U-Haul Company of Western Oregon president. “Thousands have been evacuated and many more stand to be affected. U-Haul is a responsible corporate citizen and we are here for our neighbors in their time of need.”
