The location opens at 8 am. I had a reservation for 10 am, which I booked over one week in advance. They knew I was coming at 10. I decided to go at 9:30 to finish the paperwork early and maybe get the truck early. I got dropped off at the facility. A mechanic was working on a car but the office was locked. It was cold and pouring rain. With the office door locked, I had to wait outside in the cold rain. Initially, the mechanic showed me the keys to the truck and told me he would give them to me if Uhaul instructed him to do so. I waited from 9:30 to 11 and that never happened. At about 11:15, the mechanic told me he was not authorized to give me the key. He suggested I rent a truck elsewhere. In the meantime, my hired hand who was to help me load the truck was clocking in revenue just waiting at my house for the truck to show up. So at 11:30, I abandoned the plan to get a truck from this location and paid an uber to take me home and paid my hired hand for his time. Later in the afternoon, I got a call saying the office was finally open. So I picked up the truck but had to load it myself because my hired hand had already left. And the truck leaked so all my furniture got wet.kurt S.

Owner/manager needs to train staff better in regards to U-Haul rentals. Felt sorry for young staff member who clearly wasn't used to handling. Took too long and didn't even get my contract finalized at the location, so had to do all that while driving around.Marc C.
Parking was difficult on site. not enough space to turn vehicles around. However, staff was very helpful in guiding me where to drive vehicle safely.MARY I.

Had a rough started pick up. Unfortunately, there was a computer issue and a lack of knowledge on how to check us out. We were at the office at 8:15 for a 8:30pick up and didn't get out of there until 9:15. It took an hour to check out!!!TERESA N.
They billed a 25 dollar clean up charge for a truck that was perfectly clean. I refuse to pay that.charles B.
This was not the truck we ordered/reserved mor was it the location we reserved for pick up - so although the location was fine, the entire experience was tainted by the fact that Uhaul called us the day before our rental which was reserved a week prior to let us know they didn't have the truck we wanted nor was it up location we were requested. So! we had to drive an extra 20 miles to pick up a smaller truck and make multiple trips for our move. They also had the wrong Drop off location listed in the wrong state - we were dropping off in Stamford CT not Syosset NY. So It was not a great experience. We rent a good amount from Uhaul, so we were pretty disappointed.Peter H.
I was 2 hours late they wanted to charge me for a double late fee so we called uhaul they said no way can they do that, and made them take out the charge. The receptionist could not comunicate well she didnt speak very good english It was hard to understand her make sure u check your paperwork and the $19.95 per day READ THE FINE PRINT. But nobody there can communicate very well with u if you dont understand spanishJustin M.

these guys asked me to clean the truck with a broomstick which was handed over in bad condition to me by guy where i took initially. finally they told, i don't have to as they already placed a maintenance ticket for the same after talking to U-HAUL. Intially the lady asked me to sign a paper which says there is no charge to my card but it has a note saying that it might charge eventhough she told everything is sorted out. On pointing out the same, she said i was not aware of and when asked for a copy of the statement initially refused to give but finally she gave all documents and copies. i can say kind of helpful in trying to solve but i would say not fully. all my recommendation mentioned earlier will apply to this location too.
