. I got ripped off, I got charged penalty of twenty dollars for dropping the keys in the drop box . Isn’t what the drop box is for???? I rent car very often and on Sunday I drop the keys in the drop Box without without getting charge anything. The U-haul was 19.99 and the drop box was more and they added fees and taxes that I never got charged for it before. I need a refund for the unnecessary charges Thanks

The staff was exceptionally polite. I appreciated their explanations about the process and about driving a truck, which was new to me. The vehicle was clean and reliable. My only challenge was locating them, but when I called they provided excellent directions, and I was able to be there on time. Thank you for your help!

The worst rental experience ever! It took almost an hour for the attendant to complete the rental agreement. I used the cargo size van to pick up a mattress, box spring, 2 small accent chairs and a table lamp from a nearby furniture store. Round trip was 22 miles on flat roads. When I filled the gas tank of the cargo van right at the Shell Station where I rented the vehicle it took 5.298 gallons of gas!!! That's equivalent to 4 miles per gallon. When I challenged the attendant he pointed me to his manager. The manager told me it wasn't his problem and to call UHaul because they don't own the vehicles.

There wasn't any room for me to park the truck; had to wait 15 minutes for attention in the tiny gas station...moving the truck all around to make room for cars trying to get in and out of the service side and for gas.

The blankets were not at location for $10 fee, they said it was to be deducted. It was not. I had safe trip on original invoice for 5.00 A safe move fee for $14. was added. I did not need it My insurance would cover or I’d pay for damages. Felt over charged with double fees from 76.00 to 98.00 with out the dozen blankets as fee charged, I did not receive. I would not use your service next weeks big move due to this. Took girl at arrival 15 minutes to acknowledge the driver for arrival at pick up. Time took longer to check out for pick up. Almost 1 hour off start time.

We rented a cargo van and were pleased with the entire experience. The van was new (2500 miles), very clean, easy to drive & comfortable. It was available as promised and the charges were as specified. The location is a gas station so there is no space available to leave your car but free parking is available close by. We benefited from the online video of how to load a queen size mattress into the van. Thanks for the positive experience.

The person at the Shell station where I rented the van changed me for extra miles. When I called about it she said that there was nothing she could do about it and I had to call U-Haul. Then I was charged twice on my credit card. I will never do business with them again

I had to travel to this location because where I normally rent U-Haul trucks had none available. I was also told since I could not rent at the location nearest my home I would be reimbursed for the difference in mileage. I was never reimbursed plus I was charged for insurance coverage which I did not want. They never removed or credited me for that either. I was also told at the location I rented from that they were going to charge me for an extra day because my rental was due back at 9am but they didn't open until 10am. They didn't charge me for the extra day but I was worried they would after being told they would! The truck was dirty and smelled like smoke plus mechanically it was not very good. The transmission gave problems.
