We ordered a appliance dollie but was told that they would not send one out one way. This made things very difficult. Nothing on the website said we could not order one for a one way rental. Why would we be allowed to click on it on the website if this was not option ? Additionally noone called us to let us know this. The back of the truck had not been swept out from the previous use and had nasty cigarette butts in it.jennifer R.

Send an email version of the contract when the reservation is made, we did not receive one. Send an alert when changes to the pick up location are made. We made reservations to pick up the truck in Birmingham, AL and it was changed without warning or notice to Jasper, AL, almost 50 miles away. Figuring this out and getting out there added over three hours to our move. None of the extra equipment (dolly, packing pads, etc) that we had purchased was available at the pick up location. We were refunded, but still no prior notice was given and we had to spend even more time finding these items elsewhere as we needed them for the move and were told they were available per the reservation. Staff at pick up location were friendly but did not do walk around of truck or even tell me where it was. Interior of cabin was mostly clean but cup holders and passenger airbag was covered in sticky liquid that indicated they had not been cleaned since their last use, which is incredibly irresponsible and negligent in the middle of a global pandemic. All in all, due to a lack of communication on Uhaul's part, over six hours was added to our move time, which was not only incredibly inconvenient and unacceptable, but meant some of the friends that had offered to help us were no longer available to do so, which added yet more time to our move process. This was one of our worst moving experiences and I doubt we will use Uhaul in the future.JAMES A.

Only issueci had was that i called the day the truck was scheduled to be returned to verify the time it had to be back and was told 2pm but that was an hour ahead of my time which would have be 1pm my time. That was not disclosed to me at the time of rental. I was not able to finish by that time which caused me to be charged for another day. I called uhaul and they are supposed to have the rental place call me back hopefully tomorrow, 1/30/20. I was also told by uhaul personnel that it should've been 2pm my time.Robert C.
