There was less than a quarter tank of gas upon pickup, so not enough to get me through the day without concern. I left the truck with half a tank of gas.

Called the day before and told my reservation was over book. Called back and was told they found a truck I went to the store the day before my reservation to make sure everything was good to go. Got there at 8:30am for my reservation. No key in the box an both lock boxes were unlocked. Had to leave and come back 2 hours later when the store opened to get the truck. The truck with dirty on the inside drivers cab. Called the store and they said they would make it right. No one called back to follow up nor have I gotten a refund of any kind. Drop off process was horrible. Mileage in the app wouldn’t let me out in the correct number.
Brittany SMake sure the rental agreements are updated with trailer numbers that are actually taken by that individual. When the brake lights didn’t work and the trailer was swapped, I showed up at the drop off location with them saying the trailer I had was expected to be dropped off at a different location 900 miles away.

Cheryl REverything was easy, picking up the vehicle and the return process. The only reason I would not give you five stars is that the bed was full of dirt. I am not sure why it was not swept out before we rented it. Oh, and when I tried to upload the vehicle pictures, it gave me errors and wouldn't let me upload them.
Mark SKrista was super helpful in making sure we were ready to haul safely. Went to find us a piggyback harness so we could hook our lights up. She was phenomenal!!

Allan HThe issue was with U-Hail itself. They screwed me over. They took a reservation then cancelled it for inability to fill the reservation, then reserved a trailer at a new location, but did no tell me the price doubled.
Mark JMake sure that the maintenance of the rental trucks is up-to-date. I rented a truck and the engine line came on. It was addressed to the cashier before leaving and I was told it was okay to drive. On the way back to return the truck, it started to overheat. By the time I got to the location the truck was extremely hot and started to shake. That truck should not be rented until fix. Thanks!
Oria BI order 12 blankets and they did not have any clean ones. I also had to hook up the trailer myself and take a picture to show them how I hooked it up, no one assisted. Only good thing was the trailer was clean and in good shape.

JEREMY BThe fuel gage was above "F" when I picked it up, and I filled it to above "F" when I returned, but that was FIVE gallons. I drove only 18 miles! The vehicle is defective and cost me about $18 dollars extra because it either only gets 3.6 mpg, OR, more likely, the fuel gage needle is faulty, hitting it's maximum mechanical position past "F" when the tank is still 4 gallons short of full. They told me it was "full" when I picked it up. It was not. Unless, again, it gets only 3.6 mpg, which I don't suspect is the problem. In any case, a defective truck cost me $18 extra and the regional manager says no refund can be done if I filled it to more than the gage indicated when I picked it up. I did NOT. I filled it to the same point on the gage.

Krista AMixed reviews. First, the charge was double what was quoted on the website when I booked it. The staff was kind enough. However, I was basically just told to go out back and hook up the trailer, which was basically buried in between a couple of trucks and was impossible to access without having employees move their cars. One of the employees did, however, lend me his electrical adapter, which was very kind.

FELIX JI was told this truck would need to be filled back I with gasoline. When I picked this truck up it had less than 3/4 tank but the chart said over 3/4 tank I took a picture and showed that to the man! I used less than $10 in gas but put $20 in that truck! Rude man yelled at me (a 71 year old woman) said too bad for me I only needed to put that truck back at 3/4 tank and no refunds or adjustments! It’s my fault I put that much gas back into the tank! This guy is a jerk and he was mean spirited!
RHONDA RMy contract indicated that I could drop the truck at any location that was close to my destination in the suburbs of Cincinnati, OH. After reaching my destination, I received a text with an assigned destination. The assigned destination was 49 miles from my destination. I dropped my truck to a much closer location that the assigned destination which my contract was changed without my permission. The dropped location then charged me $32.10 + tax for not dropping the truck at the "added" destination that I had not agreed to. The originating pickup location extended me a credit for the additional charge. Great positive response for someone in your employ who changed my contract without an agreement from me. PLUS, + + for the original location setting this right for me.

JEFFREY MThis location was fine. However, I reserved a 20 foot truck weeks in advance at a different closer location. Three days before pickup uhaul.changed my pickup location. When i artived the morning of pickup I was informed the new location did not have the truck available. I had to call uhaul regional to find another location. Was directed to this location and was given a 26 foot truck whuch was much larger than needed. Poor logistical planning on the part of uhaul.

Dave JI’ve used this location several times in the past without issue. However, I will go elsewhere the next time I need to rent a truck. So many things were not handled correctly. I reserved the truck several weeks out and was told they had a 15’ truck. When I arrived I was informed the only one they had for me was a 20’. No one called prior to inform me. I was offered the 20’ at the 15’ pricing, but it was much too large for what I was needing (moving my daughter). Fortunately my son was with me and could drive it, because I would not have been able to handle that size truck myself! The keyboard and computer on the first go-around were not working properly and after 10-15 minutes of frustration the sales rep moved to the 2nd computer, which was slow and not much better. After a lengthy amount of time (25-30 min). The transaction was completed. My expectations were to arrive at my scheduled time, receive the truck I had reserved quickly, efficiently snd be on my way. Both my son and myself were extremely frustrated with the entire experience! I had to ask about the return process since no one went over the details. The staff was pleasant, but clearly frustrated with the “tired” equipment and slow process as well. I was not offered any discounts (senior citizen or otherwise) for the time delay or mixup! Clearly my customer loyalty and patience does not matter to UHaul. I will be taking my future business elsewhere.

George SMy reservation should have been from 12PM-6PM but received a phone call at 330PM saying it was due back at 4 PM because it was reserved by someone else at that time. We rushed as fast as we could to get it back earlier. We should not have had to do this.

Mark TThe check in experience to return the truck was HORRIBLE! What used to take maybe 5 minutes to drop the keys in a drop box now involved scanning a QR code, downloading an app, signing in, getting a verification code, taking photo after photo of every angle of the truck and parking spot and dashboard and in the cabin, it was so tedious and over the top I will NEVER use Uhaul again if I have another option.
