Man was not friendly at all He was actually rude
WENDY JService rep left unfavorable impression. Kept insisting that I needed to purchase insurance. I have high end insurance that covers rentals. His coworker also commented to me that he thought his continued insistence was uncalled for.

The checkout process was long and overly frustrating because I kept having to repeat my information due to him wanting to help a lady he kept staring at out instead of focusing on getting me checked out. Not sure if I would use them again unless necessary. The associates customer service was horrible.
LISA HOnline check in didn’t work. Truck smelled of smoke. Engine light was on during the entire rental. Traction service warning came on several times. Passenger side mirror couldn’t be adjusted (by me anyway). Truck looked awful. There were other (nicer) trucks in the lot. Not sure why this one was assigned to me. Good people.
BRIAN GDriver side windshield wiper did not work while it rained significantly. Generally the vehicle was very unsafe.
Gregory KNobody was at the location to give me my key. I had to call to figure out how to get it. Ridiculous. Then the window on the uhaul was down so the passenger seat was soaked. Plus the passenger door was unlocked. Horrible experience, I should be reimbursed for having to delay my pickup by 30 minutes because there was no employee there.
Sam BMileage rate was different than what the app quoted. App quoted $.89 per mile this location charged $1.09 per mile. Will not return.

TIMOTHY AThe check in and check out process is fantastic. The truck was a little bit dirty and had some annoying wear and tear issues. The handle was missing to open and close the window and the windshield wiper was all messed up and did not work well.
Jay MThe cargo van was extremely dirty and had dog hair everywhere inside. It smelled like a gerbil. Also, the back of the van was full with empty boxes. We had to wait for about 30 minutes to leave before it was cleaned out since there were no other vans available.
BRYAN TDave at ACE Hardware in Deer Park was amazing! He asked questions and made sure I had everything I needed to ensure a successful move for my Mom. He was friendly and kind and the equipment was clean and in great condition which made me very confident in my choice of rentals and location! The whole rental experience was smooth and positive from beginning to end. I will definitely recommend them AND go back to them when it is time for me to move this spring.
LINDA WInspection on the vehicle are needed prior to renting. The light switch was broken off and I could not use the light inside the truck
SYDNI VKey wasn't in lockbox as indicated. Delay in procuring. Asst. on phone was pleasant. Took longer than expected as there were many hoops to jump thru when picking up and returning.

JO NWhile the local people at the at each location was very help communication between each site needs a lot of improvement. Just to resolve a drop off location issue took six phone calls and a lot of wasted time because each location, it would seem, can’t call and talk to each other.

Tex RExperience was truly excellent. Store personnel were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Truck was in great condition and easy to load and unload with the ramp. Return was easy with a large store parking lot. Price was reasonable for the time we had the truck. This was the second experience with U-Haul in the last three months. Great experiences and I would rent from U-Haul again!

DOUGLAS KTurn in the uhual the day I return it to you. I had to reach out to corporate and I got charged for a uhual I returned, unused, due to plans that were canceled. I was told I would receive a full refund and didn't. I've used this location many times but this experience without issue but this particular time I am not happy with the service I received.

ANDRE BIt was a little frustrating because there was no record of my reservation and the person working the U-Haul counter was gone for the day. Other than that everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Just make sure you get a confirmation on your reservation.

Haim VWe rented a 5X8 trailer and drove it from Labelle, Florida to Cincinnati, Ohio. It was so easy to drive and maneuver, the tires looked like new ones, the trailer was clean and held an amazing amount of outdoor furniture, etc. I would definitely use U-Haul again for my self-moving needs. Thank you!

DOLORES DTruck was too damaged to use. Replacement was not available. A simple look at the truck by dealer anytime before my rental would have prevented issue.

Cathy CStore manager Barry took care of all the paperwork for the rental, no problems. Initially I told Barry I probably wouldn’t need the truck too long half a day not sure. Later that day 6-6:30 I called to inform Barry that I’m still moving, what is the best way to get key back if after store hours, Barry replied “there’s a drop/lock box to the left of the entrance door to the store” Barry also responded “ you have the truck for 24 hrs so that would be 10am tomorrow” well as the evening went on and I’m trying to get all the last of the small items time goes by. Now the plan is to return truck by 10 am Saturday. I get a call Saturday morning 9:15 ish from a not so nice Barry telling me “that truck is reserved for a customer at 9:30” there was not one word said to me when I called Friday evening inquiring about after hours key drop. Barry was rude and just kept saying you said you were bringing truck back by 4 that afternoon but when I called to report and inquire about drop box Barry never said a word about that truck that I rented was reserved for the next morning at 9:30. He wouldn’t/didnt want to hear that because he knew I was right. Barry needs a refresher course in customer service, honesty snd leadership considering he’s the store manager.

Tracy SThe cupholder/front area (good spot to set keys and phone) was a bit sticky, but otherwise the truck itself and dolly that I borrowed were clean, and in good working order. The location I went into to pick up and drop off were well staffed (I was surprised they were even open on Memorial Day!) and everyone who worked there was pleasant and friendly! It made me want to shop there for my hardware store needs, and to keep it in mind for any other rentals. Awesome!

CHEIKH CTook over 45 minutes to check out. Had less than a quarter tank of gas. Told the clerk about the gas. They said just return it in the same condition. Back of truck was dirty, had not been swept from the prior renter.
