This location needs some serious help with equipment. They were unable to process a payment in less than 30 minutes. They had to contact a regional manager to process a payment. We only had the truck rented for a short period of time and we had to rush to move what we needed to in order to return the truck on time. Please help this location out with getting up to par with normal uhaul standards. Their card swiper isn't hooked up and the manager let us know that someone had tried to get it up and running for several hours.Isaac B.

The pick up location inventory was off so we had to go and get blankets somewhere else. The poor owner was so nice but her employee walked off of the job and we had to wait 30 minutes for the owner to show up. U-Haul customer service is very rude and are not very helpful. U-Haul is very rude and lies to its dealers as well, our dealership used to be one and it was a horrible experience. It is too bad that U-Haul doesn't have any competition and that it's trucks are so nice. The simple answer is that our nation needs to put Jesus back at its center and that we need to treat others as we want to be treated!!!!Robert S.

Parking! When I picked up my UHaul I had to leave my car at the location. I parked in the return location because the parking lot has only 1 handicap space and 1 non-handicap parking spaces and the non-handicap spot was taken...by another UHaul.Steven G.

No parking space available to return truck. POOR customer service. Replaced gas used in truck but was then again charged for gas by UHaul. Contacted UHaul about this concern asking that the charge be refunded or that I be reimbursed for the gas I purchased. NO response received from UHaul and charges remained on my credit card. Has been two weeks since contacting UHaul so doubt they'll follow up. Would not recommend UHaul and suggest others not use them either.Bernard J.

The online check out process is a wonderful idea that seems mostly well executed but failed at the end. Not a criticism of this location, but of the uhaul process itself. Ensuring that I didn't take all those pictures for nothing would be the only way to better the experience. Otherwise, it was easy and fairly straight forward.Austin C.

The best thing UHaul can do for the customer is to have the requested vehicle on site or try to have it on site. A customer shouldn't have to drive 42 miles out of our way to pick up our van. We reserved a vehicle far enough in advance that arrangements could have been made to have it on site when w were ready to move. As it was we had to drive 42 miles out of our way to get the van at another location. That's mileage that UHaul did pay for. I know that's not how UHaul operates, but it was a real inconvenience for us.glenn P.

If you rent a storage unit, rent an outside one. We have had heavy rains and the inside climate controlled units flooded (5 inches). Uhaul took no responsibility and told us we had to use our personal insurance.PAULA H.

Charged me for an item I did not use and was not available for me to use. I was charged for a dolly that i had requested as part of my move. There was not one available. I was still charged for the dolly and haven't been reimbursed. Even though it was just seven dollars I shouldn't have to pay for services that I did not receive. Especially because the lack of the item I requested and told that I would have made my move harder.Rebeccah K.

We had to drive from Newton Iowa to Altoona Iowa to pick up a truck there was a location in Newton we did waste gas in the car that took us from Newton Iowa to Altoona however the nice person in charge in Altoona did give us extra miles for the truck we should have rented a little bit bigger truck the person in Altoona was very friendly and very helpfulsteven P.

The truck was very nice and the mobile service was pretty easy to use. The only reason I rated this location only Above Average and stated that the truck was not clean is because it had some leftover rice and crumbs in the cup holders and side door compartments of the truck. That could be easily remedied with a damp towel--so the truck will was great, but just wanted to share that! Thanks!Ashley V.
