I rented a 10' truck, only traveled 14 miles and returned the truck within 2 hours. I was charged a total of 185.11. One charge, which was the correct charge was $74.06. Three days later there was an additional charge of $111.05. I have reached out to U-Haul customer service, and was given the number of the regional manager who NEVER retuned my calls or a text message that I sent him. I was told by customer service that he said he tried to reach me repeatedly. That was a fabrication. I received no such call. If I didn't recognize his number, he could have left a voicemail and I would have immediately called him back (because who wants to give away 111.05)? I am appalled with U-Haul as I have incurred a charge for a service I never received.VICKY C.

I was originally booked for another location. I arrived at that first location for my pick up which was supposed to be at 7:30 am. I get an email at 7:29, ONE MINUTE BEFORE SCHEDULED PICK UP TIME, telling me i needed to go to this other location for pick up. I tried to talk to the lady at this first, but she sent me away to go to the other. I will not do this again, luckily it did not mess up my plans too much, but it did mess up our time agenda we had laid out. Don't require customers to go to a location across town to pick up a truck when you requested one close to home. Have trucks cleaned out and not filthy and with broken glass inside.Darrell S.
Truck has sway bar issues. To drive straight, the steering wheel much be turned 30 degrees to the left. The location has tight parking for the trucks. There was no one present at the location, later found out that the system did not enroll me into mobile pickup. Yet the original order was at a different location and was moved due to availability of truck. Had to call U-Haul, on hold 20 minutes to get someone to enable mobile pickup. Other processes are fine. Checkin and checkout, one set up, seem to work well enough. Extending the rental time doesn't work on the website as indicated by on hold messages. Again this required a phone call to extend. Finally i think it would be useful to indicate nearby gas stations that can accommodate such a vehicle. At 26ft it was difficult finding a gas station that the vehicle could correctly navigate. Even a truck stop didn't work as the vehicle is non-diesel.Zachary S.

I picked up the U-Haul truck up filthy/dirty and was charged $25 for cleaning. Then I was also charged extra for a dolly and appliance dolly (which I didn't even order), and had neither!?!?? I have been so busy moving, I had no time to complain. But never again and I strongly suggest anybody to deal with this location.Gregory W.

They did not reach out to do anything about the back of the uhaul leaking rain and ruining a lot of my stuff and then they are trying to charge me an extra day saying I turned it in on the day after I physically turned it in knowing they have cameras so they know when it was brought back and I also have video footage and pictures of my own just because I like to always have receipts and just for this reason!!! Normally U-Haul equipment is impeccable in cleanliness and service. The original pickup location opened 15 minutes late (New cut Road, Louisville KY), did not have the equipment available (tires were flat), and I was diverted to a location that took me out of my way (more miles). If I have to get a truck again, it will NEVER be from the New Cut Road location. I am treating this as a ONE-OFF, but I am not going back to the New Cut road locatiion. I had to ask the guys to put the heavy dolly in the truck. You would think when a elderly woman rents a truck this would be something they would just do as part of the rental and not have to ask them to do it. They werent open when I returned the truck, which it says they are open until 5 and I arrived at 4:50p.m. I had to return the truck with the app, which is ridiculous. It was frigid weather and the app makes you take pictures of the mileage, fuel, inside truck, loading area of truck and where the truck is parked. Ridiculous!!! If it had been snowing or raining there wouldnt have been 1 picture taken. This needs to be fixed where the customer isnt doing the clerks job and then paying them too.Pamela K.
We rented a truck for 2 days but ended up dropping it off the next day (December 23rd @ 2:30pm). No one was on site even though they were supposed to be. The location didn't even check the truck back in until December 29th and then charged us for 5 days rental. I will never use this location for a rental again. They weren't on site when they were supposed to have been according to their website. They apparently decided to close an extra day for the holiday (23rd, 24th & 25th). Then, they took 2 extra days to check the truck in. U-Haul customer service is issuing us a refund but I would not recommend this location.Chris G.

I reserved the truck at a location close to my home but it was changed through an email at the last minute to a shady neighborhood convenient store. They didn't have a working truck available so I insisted they call customer service to find me another truck. After waiting on hold for a representative for almost 30 minutes they finally found another truck at another location. This location was closed so I had to go through the contactless process which took forever. My reservation time was 11am but I didn't get a truck until after 2pm. On top of that, I was over charged. It was a nightmare! I definitely WOULD NOT recommend U-haul to anyone!Jessica E.

Gas and milage reading was not accurate. I told the employee and was assured he would make adjustments. He didn't and I got charged for it. The place was closed even though it was suppose to be open. I asked for in person check in but had to do the mobile check in. When I dropped the uhaul off the location wasn't working to finish the mobile drop off even though my maps had been working on my phone.Brittany J.
First I could not take pictures in the U-Haul app with my Android 10 Motorola One 5G Ace smart phone. I made sure all permissions were granted. Luckily I was able to use my sons i-phone to navigate the app. I went inside to get the key and had to wait 10 minutes for the guy to finish what he was doing before he would give me the key. I arrived at Affordable Muffler at 11:53am and was not able to drive off with the truck until 12:34pm so I lost a half hour of truck rental time dealing with your U-Haul app and waiting for the key. The inside of the truck was disgusting. It was very dirty and sticky all around the cup holders. The truck drove ok but it might be time for a front end alignment as the steering was a little wobbly navigating narrow roads. Also when I was checking out the U-Haul app never told me what to do with the key. The shop was closed but I did eventually find the drop box for the key. You might want to replace the drop box because it was badly damaged and looked as though someone had tried to bust in.Kevin S.

My reservation was confirmed one week prior to my move date for a truck that was 17 ft from a centralized location 1 mile from my current house and less than 10 from new house. I ended up with the wrong size truck 10 miles west of my old house and 15+ miles from new house.
