Ask about the overall experience. That's a different story, and not a positive one at that. First off we booked online a week early, received CONFIRMATION, and then were told 24 hours to pick-up that they did not have the size of truck that I ordered and RECEIVED CONFIRMATION FOR! I wanted a 10 foot truck and was offered a 26 foot truck. That's a huge difference in wasted space, difficult parking and extra fuel costs. I ended up driving to a different city to pick up a trailer instead. Once again you figured out a way to mess this up. None of our confirmations or emails had the correct pick up location. Kind of a big deal when it's a different city! I had to call the customer service line 3 times during this transaction due to an extremely poor online system. I will be purchasing a covered trailer so I never had to rent again in the future. This was an awful experiencePLACIDO K.

Better training for the rental business to be able to use your 24/7 truck rental. You definitely really need to get it set up so it's user friendly. We are tech savvy and the way 24/7 truck rental works is pathetic. It cost us $225.00 extra because we couldn't get our truck we reserved so we had to send home hires people and rent a hotel. Then you want people to upload pictures but not to many because you run out of space. You limit the customer as to how much they can protect themselves from being charged for damage.Theodore E.

Your Receptionist at the U-Haul in Moose on Caribou street was amazing she was so kind and explained everything to me And also came out and made sure the trailer was hooked up by her and on properly teaching me the same if I needed to remove it I was very happy and I would use this service again over and overANGELA L.
I only had to go to Moose Jaw because the one way 6x12 I had reserved wasn't available in Regina, or anywhere in Southern Saskatchewan. The 'traffic' people in SK/MB were understaffed (kept getting routed to AB, who couldn't do anything for me) but also unhelpful, and I spent hours on the phone myself to find a solution. My only resort was to look for an "in-town" 6x12 I could haul to Canmore AB and have my dad bring back, and Moose Jaw was the closest. If it wasn't for the monopoly U-Haul has on moving trailers, I wouldn't ever rent from this company again. But I'm going to have to at some point, so I may as well give my honest feedback in hopes someone down the road is spared some of the frustration as a result.Florent B.
We were told the trailer was stolen after we returned it and to report it to the police. Then after reporting it to the police we were told to "maybe wait" because the manager was "looking into it further". While the onus was on us for neglecting to follow proper procedure and do a self return or wait until staff was present when we were returned it, this was a unacceptable service on the other end.Angela P.

This was my first UHaul booking. I provided the site an above average rating, as I have nothing to compare to. However, UHaul booking was made 3 weeks in advance. By the time I went to pick up my agreed upon equipment, the best UHaul could do was provide me a trailer that was dedicated to the location. In other words, I had to bring it back! Given that I was leaving the province, made for a lengthy drive back to drop off the equipment (570km). Compound that with the strong head wind (25knots out of the west) required an extra 2 tanks of gas at my expense to compensate UHaul. Given current gas prices (1.35/ltr), this was an expense to me that UHaul should have compensated for. I will most likely not use UHaul in the future due to the unpredictability and inability to guarantee equipment at a time that is already stressful.Chrissy P.

I got charged double the amount that was calculated according to usage only because I couldn't find an open gas station and couldn't refuel 1/8 of the tank. It is not dair to get charged for 28 lt of gas instead of 10-14 lts tops. Now I understand how uhaul makes money. They rip off the customersâ€¦ERDINC S.

I reserved online, a truck, extra insurance coverage and a dolly.. paid online and when I went to pick up I had to pay extra (was never told what I was paying for) I then drive the truck home and realize I didn't get my dolly. Keith was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I must share that I was not impressed that I had to travel to Moose Jaw from Regina to pick up a truck. This costed me a significant amount of time and money on my moving day. Given the circumstances, I would have expected a discount for the added inconvenience. Instead, I was charged $160 when the same truck would have cost me $30 had it been available in Regina.Aaron B.
