The storage units and truck were both clean. Jane as always, is a pleasant person to deal with! Only wish they had bigger uhaul trucks.

Marc JAmerican self-store is a well run, professional enterprise. The reason that I used this uhaul location is that I was referred by the uhaul in Webster, MA because they seemed to allow some stranger to cancel my reservation out from under me, without my knowledge or permission. I made a uhaul reservation at jimmys uhaul in Webster on 7/3/2019, and called Jimmy’s to confirm the reservation. When I arrived on time on 7/5/2019, I was told that “you called to cancel your reservation “. This was total hogwash, as I had just driven over an hour to pick up my reserved trailer. Apparently Jimmy’s accepted sketchy information over the phone from someone who knew about my reservation, without verifying the reservation confirmation code. Or possibly Jimmy’s wanted to make some extra money and gave my reserved trailer to a local two hour rental customer and hoped that I would be late or wouldn’t mind waiting. I was left high and dry and consequently missed my next appointment. Jimmy’s found another trailer for me but I had to drive to Connecticut and pay more for the rental than in Massachusetts. I missed my appointment, lost hours out of my day, and years off my life from the stress.

Arthur PUHAUL CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. SCHEDULED TRUCK PICK UP 45 MIN AWAY FROM MY HOUSE. THIS CAUSED DELAYS WITH MY MOVERS AS WELL. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. AT DROP OFF, I GOT A "NO LONGER OPEN" DROP OFF WHICH WE DID NOT FIND OUT UNTIL AFTER WE WERE THERE ALREADY SO WE HAD TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO ANOTHER LOCATION. ABSOULTLEY RIDICULOUS.

Matthew LWe were suppose to pick up our trailer in Chicopee Ma and were told a few hours before that it is no longer available there and we now have to drive to Ct to pick it up. It took us an hour and 20 minutes each way. This totally messed up our plans and was very frustrating. It seems unacceptable to say the person who was suppose to return it decided not to and now all of my plans have been affected. No offer to have someone go pick it up for us since it was not our mistake or any type of price adjustment.
Keri DEverything was fine except that the tank was not full when I got it. Although there is a chart that helps calculate how many gallons to purchase to get the tank back to the same less-than-full status, I still ended up over dispensing. So in the end, that ended up costing me. All users should be required to bring a truck back full, and if they don't, the rental place should fill it before renting it out again.

FRANCISCO RDrop off procedure was a nightmare. I will never rent U-Haul again. Cell phone navigation was confusing and stopped me halfway through so I could not continue. On the phone for 45 minutes with U-Haul to try to fix to no avail. Finally was told by U-Haul personnel to leave it off the road, lock it and drop key in drop box. This was a Saturday night and left us anxious all weekend that we could not complete the entire drop off and would be charged extra. Fortunately, that did not happen.

Kerry TPull straps on ramp should have a place to secure as they are a hazard to get caught on and cause someone to trip and be injured. Perhaps they should be mounted from underneath not on top.
