My reservation changed from an in-person pickup location in Mays Landing, NJ to a virtual pickup location in Somers Point, NJ. This was horrible because Somers Point is by the beach. Traffic, traffic, traffic on a Saturday at the beach in the summer, so this caused a one hour delay. When we got there the U-Haul app kept saying "can't see you because your location services are not on" even though they were. Waited another 30 minutes and thank God, someone from ANA recovery saw us and directed us to an in-person pickup help location three blocks away. The truck was parked next to the ANA property, but Bill from ANA told me the U-Haul app would only see me if I was on their property. HOW THE HELL WOULD I KNOW THIS. I was also told that a gentleman had just left their location having the same issue so it sounds like this is an ongoing problem. And the 45 minute U-Haul help hold time just added to the enjoyment of my pissed off'ed-ness that day. What could have been a good experience just turned into 2 1/2 hours of lost time I'll never get back. NOT HAPPY and will look elsewhere when I rent again, but the people at ANA were very helpful.

They were great! Your agentless checkin was a nightmare. When completed it provided a page to give agent and not a key box entry code. Correct this

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. PICK UP WAS A NIGHTMARE. WE GOT THE TRUCK AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE. HELP LOADING DID NOT SHOW UP. WE HAD TO LOAD OURSELVES. I AM 72 YEARS OLD. WE TOOK THE TRUCK BACK AT THE SAME TIME WE RECEIVED THE TRUCK (AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE). HAD TO DO AN EXTRA TRIP DUE TO THE LOADERS NOT SHOWING UP AND WE WAITED THREE HOURS FOR THEM YOU HAVE NOW CHARGED ME AN EXTRA DAY AND MILEAGE. WILL NEVER EVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN

Unfriendly did not want to help at all. We felt like we were intruding. It was very unpleasant and we will never ever use that place for any thing. Being charged for something that we needed help for is unreal. I asked the person for assistance and he blew me off. I would request a refund of the $20 especially when I call UHaul when I got home. The person on the phone was very apologetic and would note this issue on the call. Never again will be use Ana drop off.

I used the Somers point location NOT the location in 3rd street. Jen was fabulous!

Online check in took 45 minutes and only with help of the men in location. Van had little less tan filled. I filled it full so i lost money. I was very happy with the location and the staff but WOULD NOT use uhaul again because i have to useonline check in and check out. It sucks. Credit for overpaying gas would be nice to get.

The human interaction I had at the location I picked up my rental was fantastic, in fact if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have been able to pick up my rental. Your app is not user friendly and Selena in customer service wasn't all that fantastic either. It took me 40 minutes to pick up my rental. Your app had me filling out the same information over and over again. I submitted my drivers license 3 times. The return process wasn't much better, but that only took 20 minutes. What good are pictures that are taken in the dark? What happened to the days of renting a truck from a human being? U-Haul has always been my go to rental company, but I think I will start looking for a company that hires actual employees. This was a terrible experience!

Out of the way on a back street with low level of assistance during working hours. Only one truck, so to be fair, U-haul appears to be a tiny part of the larger towing business. On a more central level, the phone operator who helped me, and was very polite and responsive, didn't ask if I wanted the "comprehensive insurance" meaning I had to add it when I reviewed my order upon checking in. She also didn't provide me with choices of where to drop off in Richmond, which caused some confusion.
