The location was good. The location person we spoke to for support was great. The online reservation/ account sept up steps was HORRIFIC and took an hour as it did not work correct the first time we created an account. In addition to the mess the number of pictures to take to get the truck and to return the truck was excessive.john C.

The location was fine what wasn't fine was the self-access on both the pick up and drop expereince. Moving is stressful and using Uhaul made it even more so. When we got there and opened our account there was no option to pick up truck so we had to call the service number. We were on the hold for over an hour. Once we finally got someone it took a half hour to even get it up and working. We had people who were helping us move waiting at our house for that entire time. On top of that, we werent the only one with issues. There were multiple other people picking up a truck there and all of them were having issues with pick up. Then when we went to drop it off it asked for a photo of the dashboard. We kept taking photos and it would just loop us back to the same page. We were doing this within the app then finally tried doing it from a web browers and it finally worked. This was the most frustrating expereince I've had throughout the move. We will never use Uhaul again.Josef K.
I had very serious problems with the website, and no one was available to help me. If no one is there to answer the phone, please leave a recording letting me know what to expect, rather than letting the phone ring indefinitely. I say this location is average because I expect that most or all locations are the same during COVID, with little to no option for human contact. I will not be using any UHaul again until I hear that the website experience has improved. It was an awful, awful experience that took an hour and a half to check in and I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from UHaul until this is improved. I've had years of good experiences with UHaul, and this past weekend was a disaster. I don't blame the owners of this location. It's completely a website problem that I'm sure comes from UHaul overall. There were two other sets of customers with me in the parking lot who had the same problems and were also very frustrated and angry.Rebecca A.
your new ez pick up system has serious glitches. we were to pick up van at 5 pm and only through U-Haul phone assistance were we able to secure van 2 hours later. This caused much unecessary for my wife who was in tears thinking we would have to load up two vehicles' to take our son's stuff up to Kent State. The representative from uhaul customer service was most helpful and understood our stress. I told her and the manager of the uhaul location we used that this is not a user friendly system at all . there should be an instant connection from the kiosk to walk the customer wanting a vehicle where time is critical. at this point it's all about customer service as the sale has already been made. Dropping off was also a problem and I had to leave work and go in person to the said location and make sure everything is settled properly. The manager was very helpful and assured me that things will be taken care of. This system needs to be user friendly or you will lose customers. If we are to even consider using uhaul again we should be comp ensated for our trouble say with a one time free rental as we have to pick up our son from school when he is done. We'll see if uhaul really cares about customer service or not!Derek C.

Using the mobile app for check-in and out seemed convenient but had issues uploading the pictures through the app. The is no easy way to contact help and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to help once I figured out how to contact uhaul.Michael C.
I had trouble with the Uhaul app during check in. It would not upload the photo for the odometer and gas. I had to use the web login in order to complete the check in.Edward R.
The U-Haul app caused a LOT of frustration -- it failed to be able to fully process the pickup AND return of the truck, which required me to spend about 45 minutes on the phone confirming that all was okay to pick it up and that a return was fully processed. It may have also cost us more money because I was not able to run through all the steps in the app. (**It'd be nice to see some compensation for this trouble**). Having said all that: The Auto House did a GREAT job fulfilling everything requested/needed and I recommend this place to customers.Alex B.

You mobile check in/ pick up service is horrible. You need a more efficient way to do it. I am all about making thing easier but your mobile site is very flawed. It was unable to detect my location and then had issues scanning the barcode to verify location. Addition I when I was uploading pictures of vehicle damage the system timed me out and I was forced to start the process over. Also has issues with location verification upon return. Your app is incredibly buggy and impossible to work with. I can't take pictures of the odometer when required. When I do, the app won't let me proceed to the next step when returning the truck. Please fix your app so future customers won't have to deal with such problems.Jason S.

The only issue I had was that the verification process took much longer than the average time listed on the website, despite having a copy of my passport, full lease, and two contacts for them to use. The check in and drop off procedures stink. It took me 45 minutes to get my truck. I kept getting booted out of the website there Hass to be a simpler way. There should be a simple kiosk that you can insert your credit card, insert your drivers license, take a picture And be on my way. Not very happy about that. The owners that location are great people I've rented there before. I would've been in and out in five minutesMartin K.

The check-in , and check-out process was terrible. On our phone, both times, it said it didn't recognize our location. I tried scanning the barcode like suggested, that didn't work. When picking up the truck we ended up messaging u-haul and finally got it straightened out. It took over half an hour. There was another lady there at the same time having the same problem. When we brought back the truck we had same problem, I ended up locking the vehicle and putting the key in the lock box.robert K.

Could not use my phone to return the vehicle because I could not get past the share your location on the website. It just kept saying cannot find location. After following the prompts for about 20 to 30 minutes I went into the Auto House and they said they would check the vehicle back in. I think there should be an easier way to rent and return the vehicles.Joseph M.

My only issue was with the online app when we attempted to return the vehicle after hours. It would not pick up my location so that I could proceed with the process as intended. The process to rent a truck using the app is so ridiculously difficult. you cant do any pre-screening before you get to the location, so once you get there you have to take a ton of time to get approved to rent the truck. Not to mention the fact that just renting the truck online was another hassle with a bad ordering system that you have to re-enter every detail when trying to change just one thing about your order. The day of my order I got a call to confirm my order and they confirmed that I would have a 24 hour rental... then after we picked up the truck they only gave us 15 hours. Revemp the entire online rental service. make it way more user friendly by making it easier to change an order, and pick up a truck.Dawn S.

The gentleman that handled my rental was very helpful - and even took extra time to quote adding a hitch to my SUV. My only observation - my van did have a smell like sour milk... And the AC in the van does appear to have a problem - you might want to check on that. But otherwise - everything was great. I usually rent from Beaver Valley Mall - but you guys will get my business from now on. There is a girl who works the desk at BVM who needs some help with her customer service skills. ThanksRori R.
