Check in via touchless process was HORRIBLE, almost 2hrs. Most of the info required could have been obtained over the phone or at time of reservation. 2 tech support people had to assist me over the phone because location services needed to be altered in order to get the handsfree app to work. step by step, we got to the point of handing over the lock box code...only to find out the key was not in either lock box....where was it? it was inside with the agent who told me he had nothing to do with the uhaul rentals in the first place when I went inside asking for help. Horrible customer service, horrible check in process, request a refund. Too complicated and too cumbersome. Too much could have been done differently.David W.
I noticed there was a lock box outside the building for Uhaul keys. However, we had to go through the entire pre-approval process and then we had to go into the store and wait while the guy at the counter called to verify us again before giving us the key. Other than that, the location was convenient, and the truck was easily accessible/noticeable.Laura F.
Faster webservices. Took a long time to load my order on phone to get lock box ..... Lou criscolo (north haven ct) was wonderful to work with. Must have called and changed plans 5 times and At off hours. he was responsive, pleasant and always helped me willingly.Doug C.
Truck was old (19,00k) w/o contemporary plug-ins, cruise control and was inefficient fuel-wise. The windshield wiper were terrible and worn-out. Retire older trucks. And UHAUL should immediately begin to switch to and electric fleet, in step with your customers. The switch of location left me without a human representative, No paper contract and required to use apps and technology that did not work well for me. Please consider NOT relying on technology. Not all your customers have equipment and skills.Peter H.

Was a busy store had to wait for owner to get there to do paperwork. Was not happy with overall contract was not given enough miles and had to travel further for the pick up so went over on miliage and had to pay extraDavid L.

The location, A gas station, was poorly signage as a U-Haul location and the only equipment I saw, was the one I was renting one-way, so essentially I left the place with no equipment. The CSR was nice but seemed unfamiliar with U-Haul rental process. It took 45 minutes to get a two-wheel car tow rented.MIRIAN E.
