This was the worst experience with Uhaul I have ever had. The owner (Willy) was rude and belligerent. And charged me for equipment I didn't rent. I reserved an ap[pliance dolly, and the one on location had a broken wheel. And he charged me for it. I would not ever recommend or use this dealer again. Horrible doesn't even. describe my experience at Big Willy'sGlen H.
Get rid of Big Willy's as a U-Haul location. The owner does not train his hard-working employees for the U-Haul side of his store, but insists they take care of U-Haul business. This owner told his employees to make the customers fold, count, and bring in blankets and any other rental equipment inside his store, otherwise he will charge for the items not being returned, even though blankets, etc. are inside of the truck. He makes his employees do his U-Haul job while he sits at home. Also, be careful of this owner. He tried to charge me for gasoline for the truck, and refused to give me the fuel receipt that I paid for at the pump with my credit card. Even though I proved that I had returned the truck with the same amount of gasoline as when I got the truck, he tried to charge me again for gasoline! Thank goodness that the U-Haul home office was able to see my proof of this store and they made everything right.MARY J.

Drop off location was a convenience store with a clerk that was about to be getting off work and said he didn't want to deal with a U-Haul transaction, so he gave us his boss's telephone number to contact. Once we were able to get in touch with him, we were told to just leave the trailer somewhere out of the way of convenience store traffic. We did that and left the blankets inside. He called us when we were about 10 miles out of town to tell us that we must turn around and take the blankets inside the store or else we would be charged daily for not returning them; to avoid any additional charges, we did as instructed. This was the WORST experience I've ever had with U-Haul!!!Lou D.
This was a gas station/convenience store. Once I arrived I had to wait on the cashier to call the owner. At that point, I was given his phone number and instructed to call him directly. He asked what name the reservation was under and then asked how far I would be driving (I checked in online and filled in this information). Afterwards, he asked to speak to the cashier on my mobile phone. I thought this was unprofessional and unsanitary given the current climate surround Covid-19 concerns. I was given keys and told to go find the truck that matched the keys. I was not offered any chance to notate any damages to vehicle before leaving. Once inside the vehicle, it was not clean. It had trash from the previous user (receipts, previous rental contract, etc.). The console and steering wheel were both dirty, with actual dirt. I used sanitary wipes to wipe down the inside before leaving. Upon return, I was told to call the owner again and he told me to send him texts of the dashboard with the mileage and the fuel levels. I've rented before and submitted this information online, never texted to the person I was dealing with. In my opinion, the gentleman was very unprofessional. I question the sanitization of the equipment they are providing. Also, I have concerns regarding the accuracy of the information I provided as he did not request any information upon my departure. I will continue to use U-Haul for my moving needs but I will not use this location again.Alma S.

It is a dual operation as a convenience store and UHaul, didn't work for me. There is another location that I went to and it was strictly UHaul which was more appealing. I will ask for that drop off next timeDennis M.
It was supposed to be mobile pick up. They were unaware it was rented. She had to call her boss. I had to wait for him to verify. Then no dolly drove back to find out they do not have the one I rented. It was covered in cigarette ashes. I'm allergic and my daughter has asthma so that was not good.Khisha H.

I had made my reservation for the Mineral Wells U haul rental. I had done business with them for years. They are very professional and easy to work with. the truck I reserved was not there. I had to go to Big Willys to get the truck. It was out of the way and it threw my time schedule off and we had to pack the truck "backwards" I had a plan in place and it was totally messed up with having to go to another location. And the lady at Big Willys was not the nicest at first. If this happens again. I will NOT rent thru UHaul again. There are other choices.Karen K.

My pick up was scheduled for 8:00. It was also supposed to be a remote checkout. The store manager was unavailable at 8:00, and this location did not offer remote checkout. He did not call back until after 8:40 to help me, which was only after the store clerk called him severaltimes, and he did not apologize for being tardy and making me wait. He then advised that the location did not have the dolly I had reserved and paid for and offered no solution. Next, he could not process the online reservation because it was supposed to be mobile checkout. He had to cancel the reservation and start over. I still have not been refunded. When he redid the reservation, he said I had to drop the truck in Arlington, much further than originally planned. After being over and hour later than expected to my move, not having the dolly I paid for, paying twice just to have a truck, and being inconvenienced to drop off in Arlington, I am beyond annoyed. This location lacks professionalism from the manager and has absolutely no customer service. I would never recommend this location, but unfortunately, it is a small town, so people are stuck dealing with poor customer service.Charlvit S.

I turned in the truck before the drop off time, I was called the next day or so and asked if Have returned the truck and then was charged extra for mileage and gas but didn't get a refund on wet blankets we couldn't use!!!EDWARD R.
Location was over crowded with trailers also only one trailer out 12 had hand crankstand. At my age at 70yrs.old I couldn't lift the 6 x 12 trailer I had go inside Big Willy to wait until someone came in so employee called her boyfriend to assist me . I think who is in charge this equipment should be there to assist the renter instead on phone processing the transaction and employee at Big Willy had no knowledge about me picking up my trailer they had to call person in charge. Had to wait on phone plus all this other time I spent waiting for someone to assist me with trailer. I'll go to someone else next time unless some your policies changes for help your customers.Benny B.
They charged me $390 to drive a uhaul 17 miles because I asked for the full coverage insurance and they didn't give it to me. Since the top of the uhaul got scratched and they didn't give me the insurance I asked for they kept my money and later stole more money from me. Uhaul is garbage and I will make it widely known. I will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND uhaul TO ANYONE.Patricia V.

Turned trailer in 2 hours early, location did not take it off rent, had to drive back to Big Willy's and mobile check in to keep from getting charged an extra day. Talked to U-Haul on the phone they basically told me tuff shit and then after leaving me on hold for 28 minutes hung up on meMatthew P.
