No employees were on site Saturday May 24th at 9:00am. I dropped the key in the mail slot. A check engine light came on while driving. I was unable to communicate that at the drop off.

Blue sky is always my fist choice for uhaul. I even change my dates if it means getting a truck from them rather than True Value. I would cut them off as dealers for uhaul - they surely blame everything that goes wrong on “uhaul corporate”. I have been in 71909 for 13 years and it has not changed. Blue sky is the one to use! I tell everyone here the same thing.

JAMES PI would inform everyone don't use uhaul. Go with another company because uhaul will screw you and charge you twice and no body cares. Even contacted the CEO and no reply.

MELISSA Rbut I would recommend to anybody renting a trailer, always take a good look at those tires, very important. Specially, if you’re going more than 50 miles, and I do feel like the Uhaul people should’ve picked that up and had that ready for us.
JOHN Ktruck was muddy everywhere. didnt look serviced at all. drop off location tried to charge me a cleaning fee, glad i had pics on the app to show it was given to me this way

KIMBERLEE WThe people were ok but the truck had not been cleaned up. The windshield was full of bugs and the cab was marginal. The truck itself was not an issue of the local service location but seemed very unstable on the road and I did not feel safe in driving it over 50 mph. They had a table in front of the counter that made if very difficult to transact business and made me feel unwelcome.

GIANNA TThe truck was pretty beat up. It was very loud. The Bluetooth connectivity was poor. The truck had to cruise control. We had to drive the truck for 9 hours and it was torture.

I explained that MayBe, I might be a close time arrival, the attendant said it might be better if I paid for (2) two day contract , Just in case. If I arrived ON Time, just notifiy the attendant, and they "Only charge me for the 1 day used." This is my Only issue. OTHERWISE, ALL WENT AS PLANNED

VERNON SI ordered an appliance dolly, but it was not in the truck when I picked it up. However, because I had such a hard time checking out the truck with the U-Haul app, I was still at the location when they opened and they gave me a dolly then.
KEVIN CI used the app to pick up early. I could not figure out how to get OUT of the gate with the truck. Nothing was "obvious". The pin code pad was way back away from the gate, no signs to show how to exit the facility to go through the key pad. I called their emergency number and he was GREAT but he could not get a hold of anyone to help either. I finally saw the key pad way behind my truck, but by now the code was no good. The emergency number person gave me a code to exit. I lost over 30-40 minutes just trying to get out of the gated area. It was a horrible experience. If the girl had simply walked me through the process the day prior when I called, instead of saying, "just use the app and follow the app" it would have been much bettter. I used this same company at Temperance Hill last time I rented a truck and had a horrible experience there. These people are like robot, not helpful, rude and I'll never use them again. Years ago I used L & L and they were terrific. They are out of town, but I will drive the extra distance to avoid this NOT BLUE SKY company.

Bernard SThey had only 1 truck on premesis!! I go to get in the truck, and I immediately smell “Wet Dog”!! I start to look at both side windows and the windshield were “All Dirty”, and I mean DIRTY !! Well when I looked at the passenger window, there it was….. dog snot all over the passenger window. The rest of the truck was very clean. I think EVERY vehicle should have a FULL tank of gas, so I can really put back in the gas that I used. I only needed it for 1/2 a day and only went 10 miles total. I put 2 gallons in, but I don’t think it needed that. As I said, every truck should be full when returned. The girls were very nice and I made it clear that the windows needed to be cleaned. She apologized and said, she would get them cleaned and all I could think of …. Why wasn’t the truck cleaned and inspected?? But I cannot understand why there was only 1 vehicle and one that I did not need. I only needed a van. So I paid more than I wanted to, because this was my only choice. Not acceptable. Thanks.
Kathleen OAfter I got the truck loaded, which was delayed because out of respect I notified the movers that I may or may not have a truck to load. As soon as I got the truck I called them and the movers were rescheduled for the afternoon instead of the morning as originally scheduled. I got to the Uhaul about 3 minutes before closing and they refused to allow us to pick up the auto transport, saying it would take about 15 minutes. The person saying this was a laborer but the "manager" stood there and said nothing except for a quick statement along the lines of "this is policy". This meant that we had to pay for another night at the hotel and the next morning it actually took about 5 minutes to check us out. We were grateful that they even had the auto transport.

Frederick MI love Blue Sky Storage for U Haul! Stephanie and Amanda are the Best. The trucks are always clean and ready for me when I get there. I have rented from True Value Hardware in the same 71909 area and they are awful- they told me they don’t even look at the cabs or anything else. They put me in a dangerous position once where a truck was not fit to be driven (they admitted to my face it should not have been given to me) and if I can help it I will never rent from them. BLUE SKY IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GET A UHAUL TRUCK IN THIS AREA CODE!!!!!

douglas cThis location is typical for what I would expect in a rural area. Everything was fine, it is just that the personnel could have been more friendly and outgoing. I was able to break the ice after experiencing a couple issues. The employees likely need to feel more appreciated. Also a moving cart was missing from the storage section.
