The car dolly I rented was very used and barely working. The straps had several areas of damage, fraying, and cuts. The ratchets themselves were rusted, falling apart, and hardly functional. Made unloading the car extremely difficult as the ratchets refused to release.

U Haul equipment was old and in need of repair. Did not even have an appliance dolly. Truck was old and in need of repair. Made very loud squealing and knocking noises when you accelerated. At check in I informed the sales associate of the noises and was told turn the radio up and you won't hear them.

Some of the people that work the UHaul desk in the store are not as familiar with the equipment as others are. They need to make sure the person behind the desk knows the equipment they are renting.

We were very frustrated with the billing> it was to be charged to my credit card. I reserved it on Thursday and said I would pick it up Saturday morning. Friday I found out I couldn't do that because of a funeral Saturday morning. I called the business and explained that my son would pick it because I had a funeral to conduct, but I was still paying for it with my credit card. They said fine. When he went to pick it up they made him put down a deposit and then it was all charged to him on Sunday. At first we thought maybe we were both billed but that didn't happen. The truck was fine but I was very disappointed with the business and will not use them again. thank you for taking time to read my complaint.

This was the worst customer service I have ever received. First it took me 30 mins to pick the truck cause the guy didn't speak English and couldn't find my reservation. His wife had to come out of the office to find it. After she found it they tried to tell me the truck had 1/2 tank of gas in it, there was only 1/4 of a tank. The guy literally went outside the shuck the truck to try to make the gauge change. The truck had sunflower seed in it and a cigarette pack. However the truck itself ran good. When returning the truck the guy chaged me for $62.50. This fee was for gas in the amount of $37.50 (please note I put gas in it before dropping it off) and a cleaning fee of $30.00. This amount was took out of my account within minutes of leaving the key in the box. I recieved an email notify me of this charge. I went back to the store and the guy refunded the money with no problem. However my problem is your company took the money out of my account with 2 mins of me dropping your truck off but it takes you 3 to 5 days to put my money back. This money was money I needed for gas to go see my grandpa that's currently dying, he is in the final stages of dementia and is in hospice. The people I talked to about this matter was very rude and pushy. All they wanted to do was get me off the phone and continued to tell me that it takes 3 to 5 day and how it's my bank that's holding the money. It's not my bank holding the money I checked. I have never been treated so poorly by any company until now. This is my first and last time I will ever use UHAUL for anything. Also I hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas with your family's cause can't go see my grandpa before he passes way cause for your employee mistakes.

They processed the wrong size truck after having to wait for printer paperwork to be completed so took an hour which delayed precious time for a move. After that the UHaul truck experience was ok.
