Reserved a truck at a specific location. Day of was not able to get instructions how to self pick up. Previous renter of Truck was physically returned to pick up site but I was not able to gain access. Found out location was change. Huge inconvenience. Called 3 times to no avail. Finally spoke with someone who first said no trucks available- however I said I'm standing here looking at them. Then she said an employee didn't remove last renter from system and that's why I could not gain access. Then she said I received voicemail and text regarding change of location fir pick up. All in all they are a bunch of liars. Pathetic work ethic! The original location was 157 N . Wayfield Orange Ca. At one stop storage. Which was convenient for me but I had to drive out of my way to pick up truck after I was told I would pick it up at N. Wayfield. The new location I went to was awesome- the fella said the N. Wayfield location constantly screws over their customers. He sees it all the time. I think I deserve a refund of my reservation due to all the lying that went on and as I had to drive miles more and pay for the miles due to their inability to actually do their jobs. I'll be waiting for a response. I think I'll also drop a few letters to CEO or whomever I can find to send them out. I'll be waiting for a response. Thank youSherrie T.

The inside of the trucks were clean but the outside were really dirty, all of them. Watch your receipt. They overcharged me and claimed it was a mistake. They refunded me the mistake but from what I've read, they make a lot of mistakes to your bill. Deliberate ? I don't know but watch your receipt.DEBRA P.

Would not recommend this location, they charged my card over $1200 dollars by mistake. According to them it was an error, the truck I rented was old and dirty. Smelled like cigarettes and it was definitely not sanitized. Would not recommend this location.Oscar G.

On the day of rental, the computer system kept crashing. This was not due to the fault of employees, but computer system which hopefully can be updated by U-HAUL so as to better assist employees at the site.MIHRETAUB K.

initially when I arrived 15 minutes prior, the truck (17') that I had reserved was not available because the customer who had it before me still had it. I was down graded to a 15' truck for the same price. I had asked about a veteran discount and the customer service representative said to ask the actual U-Haul company. I was able to move everything within the 24hrs that I had requested. Overall great experience.Javier R.

Attendant was not wearing masks when picked up - and another had mask under chin not over face when dropped off . When I picked it up it was dirty, there were beer can tops in the cabin and other trash fast food straws etc. There were items left in back also (including straps attached to wood side panels). When I dropped off attendant was rude, told me I had to remove the straps in the back trying to claim it was dirty, I explained those were there when I rented it, they clearly had not cleaned the truck before I picked it up and were then trying to blame it on me. Will not be renting from them again, and the cleanliness of the vehicle and lack of care with covid regulations needlessly puts myself and others at risk in these times..ROBIN D.

Online reservations need to be greatly improved and honored. When I made my reservation online, it allowed me to reserve a 17 footer and have it picked up at 7 am at my requested location. Two days later I was told by the staff, they couldn't honor it. They sent me to a different location and scheduled my pick up at a later time. I was very inconvenience. Either way, I had no other option, but to work with what uhaul had available.ALBERT P.
