The truck and tow dolly had just been dropped, so there was no time to clean it up. The windshield was cracked. My blankets and appliance dolly were at a completely different location. None of that is the fault of that location. The woman there was as disappointed as I was and did everything in her power to make Uhauls shortcomings up to me. She was great and I am grateful for her. Uhaul has a responsibility to ensure that all of my equipment is on target and in good condition. Uhaul failed me and their location. I will never use or recommend Uhaul again.Brian H.

There were no other U-Haul vehicles on the lot, other than a small sign that read â€œU-Haul rentalsâ€ and a key drop box on the side of the building, behind a parked car, could hardly tell I was in the right place.Brian W.
I reserved / rented a 12 ft truck around 10 days ago to move some materials and wished I had a larger truck so this time I reserved and rented a 15 ft truck and guess what...? It is the same exact size as before only this time they included the 3 extra feet above the cab? Not cool. I made it work but that is really poor form in my opinion. In fairness both the 12 ft and the 15 ft trucks were the same price but that is not the point. It would be so much better for the consumer if there was better consistency on how they are marketed.Alan W.

Truck wasn't cleaned on inside. Cigarette ashes were in a spot on the drivers side door and cigarette butts were in the truck. No washer fluid was in the truck. The furniture pads I rented were not in the truck.Richard S.
Cab of the truck had trash in it and the floors and cup holder were dirty. I requested an appliance cart and got two furniture dollies and furniture pads. I wasn't informed about refueling prior to return, it may have been in the contract but is hard to read on a phone.Felicia G.
The initial check-in process after hours needs to be simplified. Once you get in the system it works well. Just a lot of hoops to jump through... and this is for any location.mike H.

I had planned to pick my uhaul up in one location. It was not ready so I was sent to another location farther away. I was told by the rep that I would receive a $50 discount and that my mileage would be discounted as well. I never received either of those two things and my card was charged the full amount. Make the app user friendly. Hold times were very long. I had to call back five times before we could get my order number linked to my account so that I can pick up the vehicle. Finally ,the last person that I spoke to you was able to get us linked to my account so we could get the vehicle. Then, we had to verify our IDs several times. When I received the vehicle it was filthy. It had a dead squished mouse in the back and was disgustingly dirty. There were cigarette butts all over the inside. We were moving and it was pouring down rain and the truck was leaking and our mattresses were soaked. I was hoping to get the first vehicle at 9 a. M. It took several hours before I was able to actually pick it up because of all the issues. Terrible experience!Cynthia H.

The trailer I rented was not inspected prior to my renting it. I subsequently discovered a broken u-bolt on the spring shackle. I repaired this and continued on to my destination. I was told by Jennifer ( at Bridgewater) that upon turning it in (in Millinocket), I would be compensated for my expense/inconvience. The counter folks at Millinocket were at best very rude and unaccomidating.Collin K.
Uhaul needs to open more locations in Harrisonburg, Virginia. There used to be 6 or 7 uhaul vendors in H'brg. Now there's only 2. And this area has 3 universities, with over 25,000 students. There's more than enough business to support 5 - 6 uhaul vendors.Anthony B.
This was not my preferred drop off location. I was informed by phone during my move that my preferred location was no longer doing business with UHaul! You couldn't have told me that when I picked up the truck??? The location itself was not staffed after 5 or on weekends and was generally unattractive. My entire UHaul experience was entirely unsatisfactory and I will not be choosing you in the future or recommending you to friends.Robert S.

We reserved this truck online and chose to use U-Haul app to pick up on a Sun since the center was closed. When we arrived, we went through the app process only to be denied access after sending DL and picture of driver. There is no reason access should have been denied. No contact number given to call and dispute either. Thank goodness an employee (Jennifer) was in parking lot and helped us out and finished the process for us. She was very professional and saved us!!!! We drove 3 hours to pick this truck up to move a college student out and was very disappointed when the process failed. Jennifer was awesome, I couldn't have had a better experience. We wound up with less furniture to move than planned. She was very accommodating in changing us to a smaller truck, adjusted the price. She made sure we had a low mileage truck for the trip over the West Virginia Turnpike and plenty of allowable miles for an alternate lower-stress route home. We will be using this agent for all our hauling in the Bridgewater area!Dawn J.

We once again had an issue with picking up our reserved truck which was not supposed to be at this Bridgewater, VA location. When we went to the Jiffy Lube, Market St, Harrisonburg, VA location, they had NO record of our reservation and so no vehicle ready for us. I did not receive an email or text from UHaul with an alternate location to pick up our reserved truck. We had the reservation number in hand but there was no truck available for us. Why do I make a reservation only to find out that it did no good???? Since I had not been contacted 24 hours in advance of my scheduled pick-up, I assumed that all was good with my preferred location and pick-up time. What is going on with your reservation system Uhaul??? VERY POOR customer service!! I will likely chose a different rental truck company in the future since this is the second time within a month that we have had issues with you. Hope you get your act together.TIMOTHY P.
