Upon pickup I was given no assistance or direction in loading the trailer or attaching the trailer. It was dirty and had been sitting in the mud. Poor customer service.

I have several issue thst needs to brought to someones attention. My reservation was completed on line a few days before & should have been an easy checkout. I had to chat on line with someone several times to ensure i would be able to pick up the truck nearest to my location to avoid paying additional mileage charges. When i arrived a little after 8am to pick up the truck i had to wait 15 mins to checkout the truck while the rep looked for my reservations. A (copy of my license) was asked to be uploaded although a text sent to my phone during the checkin process when it was entered already online. In the truck there was broken glass & dirt inside. Upon checkout i used a different credit card & rep took a picture of my card and uploaded it on an app on his phone that he used for the check in & checkout process. I was uncomfortable with that due to possible Identity theft. In summary here are my concerns. 1. The checkout needs to be more efficient. 2. An inspection of the inside of trucks should dine & cleaned prior to renting trucks. 3. A seperate credit card slide machine should be accessable to customers not someone personal cellphone to conduct official business for U-Hual a recognized rental company.

This location is a run down gas station. The owner will not let you leave your car on the property (not like anyone would want to once they saw the place), so you have to bring someone with you to drive your car back. I was given a 10’ U-Haul but charged for the 15’ U-Haul I reserved, even though 15’ U-Haul’s were available. Because of the smaller size I had to make multiple trips, which doubled my expected mileage. I didn’t get to dispute my issues with the location because the owner was not there when I dropped off the U-Haul and his attendants couldn’t help me.

This location did not have working knowledge of how to hook up the equipment. If I had not known how to hook it up myself I may have left the lot in a very unsafe situation. In fact, the owners left me to hook it up and test it myself. In addition, I found that one of the lights on the trailer was not working. I went back into the shop and let the owner know. He did not offer a different tow dolly. He told me to drive down the road and find a full uhaul center and have them fix it. I had a set of auxiliary light with me so I drove on. My intention is not to complain about the location, but to let you know that proper equipment training at the sights has not been done. I rented a 2 wheeled tow dolly and the owner had no idea how the straps and chains were to connect

I feel something shady went down. And know I don't remember haven to bring it to same location or told that. I wouldn't try to take on the southside of town on Saturday. I know for a fact the milage gauge is wrong/not working right (rigged),etc..

Have working bathrooms and people that are ready to help you (I had to go find someone in the cooler who referred me to the person who told me to go find them).

The process took a long time, esp. since I had reserved the truck a month earlier. Although it wasn’t reserved from this location they were notified the day before pick up. It took awhile for the gentleman to get it together but it wasn’t a negative experience.

They gave us a car trailer that had broke strap.. the truck didnt even really fit on it... they didnt help us hook up, show us anything or do their job! Never use uhaul again
