The guest parking on this site was very tight, due to their inventory of ATVs, motor scooters, and UHaul vehicles. It was difficult to get in and out of the property due to being at a busy intersection.JEFFREY F.
Location is not professional. Barking dog was constant and present during check in process. Truck was not well-maintained: no washer fluids, need new rear tires, dirty cabin. Not a lot of room for parking and backing out. Definitely need a spotter.KIEN P.

The app didn't work. I had to go out and use a web link. Also it does not tell you beforehand that you have to validate yourself 1 of 3 ways. The folks at the shop were helpful, but I probably wouldn't use U-Haul again as the online check in process is clunky.clayton A.

I have used UHAUL many times over the years. All good experiences, until now. I called a specific UHAUL location close to my home and reserved a truck. I was told I could pick it up as early as 9AM. I was there just past 9:00 and they were closed. I called and left a message. Around 9:45 I was called from a different location to remind me I had rented a truck. How would I know that I would be picking up a truck at a different location than where I reserved it? Upon arriving I was subjected to a rant by I assume the owner how he is not affiliated with UHAUL and they should not even offer them anymore, it was not worth it, and on, and on and on. I was standing there renting a UHAUL and there were UHAUL trucks in his lot and UHAUL signs on his building, but he was not affiliated with UHAUL. Not a warm welcoming customer service oriented environment. The woman behind the desk however was very professional and did her best to ignore him, so I also ignored him and he stomped off, ranting. I advised I would be dropping off 6;30 or 7:00. I had to walk back in and ask where the drop box was. I was advised to just drop the keys ion the box. When I returned, I took pictures of the milage and gas, along with a bunch of external pictures, locked the truck and dropped the keys in the box, as I noticed a sign inside the lid advising me to go to a website to complete my return. The website would not load, so I went to my original text from that morning, logged in and found a place to process my return. First thing it advised was to take pictures, however it would not allow me to use the pictures I had just taken, only new ones. So I took the same picture over and over just to get through the process and then commented at the end. I have not yet heard anything but I should be getting a refund as I overestimated my mileage that morning.brian F.

Disappointed with the price. My $29.99 rental ended up being $138. I get the mileage, I get the 1 time insurance charge, however I understood that I had it for 24 hours and don't understand the double charge. ??Marcie M.

UHaul was an afterthought to this location. Cramped and cluttered bike shop. Lot was full and difficult to maneuver. Staff was sufficient but not very friendly. Gas was off a smidge and I was charged. Not excited to have to spend $8 on gas on top of a $1500 rental. Probably will look elsewhere in the future.Michael L.

This was a joke- worst experience picking Up something from U-Haul EVER! Dolly was not at original location as reserved- I was sent to three other locations before I was able to find a dolly and a U-Haul center that was actually open. Will not use U-Haul again...Albert P.

We were scheduled to pick up at Rynos Garage in Canton NC at 9 AM. We were at the location and waited till 10 AM, the business was closed. We called UHaul and were told to pickup at Burnouts . We were givin 30 extra miles for the mistake. While in route from Rynos to Burnouts we received a call from Rynos Garage and was told we are open and you can come pick up your truck. The person who called said that she had car trouble. This person works for a Garage and her excuse was she had car trouble. Most people have cell phones, why did she not call and let us know this , instead we waited an hour. Not good business practice. Burnouts was great handled the whole rental experience professionally, would rent from their location again.STEVE A.

Everything was great with the drop off, very efficient, courteous and friendly which is greatly appreciated at the end of a long move. Location was great. Only comment is I wish the sign for UHAUL had been posted closer to the road vs on the building as it was hard to see and I passed it. We will definitely rent from both locations in the future. Drop off location was a motor scooter dealership/repair business. Clearly, U-Haul was a secondary business. Person with whom I dealt was very helpful and handled dropoff quickly.Dan D.
Make it clear that the user needs an app to pick up the truck and make the app work. I showed up for a truck reservation for 7:30am only to find the rental location doesn't open until 10. After making ten of my friends waste their Saturday morning standing around with nothing to do, the rental location returned my frustrated message and said I could pick it up anytime, I just needed the app. How I was to know this is beyond me. So I go back to the location, the doesn't work. I go in and ask for help and the employee can't get it to work either. She edits my order for later in the morning (since my reservation was 3 hours ago by this point), and it works. I go through the incredibly frustrating app process (taking a selfy in front of the location's sign? Really? That didn't feel ridiculous) and get the truck. The return was fine, but man, I'll never do that again.Jeff H.

I used the self service tool for the first time to pick up and drop off my uhaul and I was charged at the beginning of the trip for the rental and the amount of miles I thought I would drive. At the end of the trip the service tried to charge me again for the rental and the exact amount of miles I drove which was far less than what I paid for earlier, but I had already paid for it. I know that I had already paid for it because my card had already been charged.Robert P.

The people from Burnouts (on Patton Ave.) went up and beyond my expectations. 10/10 on customer service, took the extra time on make sure I got a truck that day, and made sure everything was right. The reason I'm not using nor suggesting U-Haul to anyone every again, is due to the corporate side. I spent 3 hours trying to pick up a truck and trailer. I was splitting the payment with two card. First attempt one card went through, second didn't. Found out one of my cards doesn't do business with u-haul. Got cash off the bad card. Second attempt money from the card the went through was on a temporary hold. After many phone calls the lady from Burnouts found the money and sent me off with a truck.DYLAN H.

Rep would not checking out vehicle. Had me do myself. Did not inform no loading ramp but talked me into $10 dolly. Scheduled pickup in black mountain no one called to say no truck available... The parking situation was awful! The office was small and a bit shaby, and with only one computer, we had to wait a good bit. This was almost painful, as the bathroom was out of order, and we had driven several hours. Ha. The people, and service was wonderful though!April C.
