I am concerned about the gas expenses, she told me to wait almost 15 minutes to drop it off. Or I could email it to her. So we opted to leave because of time constraints. I have the receipt that we put a few gallons in it and back to its correct levels and still got charged for gas.

Rich absolutely epitomizes the customer service model. When I learned from Rich that he didn't have the trailer I requested, he immediately phone the location on Transit road to coordinate my pickup there. Additionally, because I had left my hitch back home - about a 40 minute drive away - Rich let me borrow his hitch (saving me valuable time and expense). Rich didn't have to do that, but he clearly understood my predicament and was motivated to findIng a solution that would work for both of us. Please pass along my thanks to Rich and his team.

My problem is NOT with either of the locations, whether pick-up or drop off, my problem is with "Traffic" which is who I made reservations with. The woman that I talked to and my text confirmation and email confirmation all stated that I was to pick up the truck and dolly at Gasport, NY, yet I took the time, gas and mileage to get to Gasport and found out that the truck and dolly were in Clarence, which was an hour's drive for me. I had plans for the afternoon with family and had to readjust everything just because no one from U-Haul had the courtesy to tall me that the vehicles were not in Gasport. Plus, this added more gas mileage to the truck as Clarence was further from the house that I was getting the furniture from. I found it very difficult to deal with U-Haul Central/traffic whatever it is called. The pick-up and drop-off points were spectacular and VERY helpful!!

State requires all employees to wear a face covering wen interacting with customers. At pick up and drop off the Owner made no attempt to wear one, even though I did and maintained six feet from him.

why is it necessary to call someone to verify who I am? I showed proof who I am , I also did not have a cell phone so I had to wait until a picture of my license was produced.. The party doing it took 3 or 4 tries before she was able to accomplish this task.

I was originally suppose ot pick the U-Haul trailer in Holley NY then they ended up sending me to Clarence after I was told to pick it up in Holley NY. It was an hour and 20 min drive to get there and back and still I was charged for an extra day even though they made a mistake on their end. Not to mention the fact that I turned it in two days early and still received messages on my phone stating that the trailer had not been turned in. It was an inconvenience for me all the way around from the beginning til the end of my move. And still I was charged the full amount. I never had issues with U-Haul until this time around.

Rich was spot on with his customer service !! The braking system and basic use should be reviewed with customer. The auto transporter is no toy and some experience is necessary... and should be questioned.The amount of instruction should be based on that experience.

Pricing is a little high and the guide to help you estimate your gas usage could be a little clearer since I filled the tank more than I needed to and spent about $15 more than I should have. But the location and the truck were great.

Made the reservation at the store near my house. On the day before pick-up was told had to pick-up 15 miles away. Called and was told they didn't know why, but had to go there. Why weren't we told at the time we made the reservation? Don"t appreciate the extra 30 miles!!!

Nothing against Clarence Secure Storage LLC. This is about UHaul overall. The UHaul website led me to believe I could pick up the truck in Depew, then pulled the bait-and-switch and I had to go somewhere else. Not too happy about that. However, the man at Clarence Secure Storage was very helpful in getting us going quickly.

He charged my Amex an extra $59.50 I had already pre paid Colleen Jackson in deeps for the complete rental and we had it back 2 days early due to our dog being very sick we had to come home early. I would never rent again and drop at this location he told me to call customer service and complain but after 13 calls and never getting an answer other than music I am contesting it with Amex they are faster I have spent all day on this and not one satisfactory answer.

I called uhaul scheduling department to have my drop off location changed. The lady was horribly rude. I said I'd like to drop the uhaul off at a location closest to Darien Center, NY. Her response was, "well what uhaul?" I said whatever is closest, she replies "well I dont know where that is..." yes, from my file you can see that I'm not from here either. As a customer service rep you're supposed to help the client. All of which felt like I was hassling her. Super rude, terrible service from her. I cant say much about the clarence location as they were closed by the time I dropped of the uhaul. I did call them when I dropped it off to let them know I misplaced the contract, but that they can find me via my phone number and uhaul serial code. I asked for a call back to confirm they found me, but still have not heard from them. I guess I'll find out sooner or later.
