Lets start with the additional 240$ worth of charge when I arrived, directed to corporate, called them standing in the shop, a " refund" would be issued for the over charge, Great! Tryong to go so... trucks too small cause the original guys put in the wrong size, great Ill make it work, no refund just inconvienant, k whatever, this guys a jerk, gotta go, return for my hitch parked in the back of this tiny little shop, enter new player, an older gentleman who quickly helpsme hook up, after i wait for the other 2 customers to leave so i can exit, but i guess im loading the car across the street in someother businesses parking lot, put the car up forward no issue buy clearance, cant back it up alone, enter rude guy, he gonna load right after he whines about my existance, tries ripping stick off, stomping on all the pedals, after i determine he wont have the clearance to back up, with the watch me attitude i do and the sound of my scraping exhaust, frame and upper undercarriage, left me cringing, he shruggs and walks off, i finish strapping everything together, 30 more minute and again im on the road and the phone, a specialist will contact me and the cost of the transport will be refunded, (and will actually, a few days later). 10 days later, corporate informs me, after repeated confirmations of refund on its way! that the offset refund, may never arrive, complaint reopened and pending. my transmission box is leaking fluid, it didnt before, but it doesnt look damaged anymore, 6 hours of labor and supplies later, sad but almost equal. Still 930 dollars "when you arrive" , confirmed, twice, and 1180 billed, still billed... still waiting...

This was not the original location we reserved the car dolly from, we were notified the am of pick up of the change. This was farther to travel, the attendant was grumpy and definitely did not want to be there. He also complained about the online ordering and payment and said in the future just avoid the online ordering all together. Not a good experience.

When I placed my reservation it was for one location. My confirmation email even stated that location. However on pick up day I had to go to a different location, why?

When picked truck up not clean at all. Don't even think truck was ever inspected corectly before being rented back out. Truck broke down 2nd day with breaking issues. Truck was a very ruff ride to go across country in. To many issues to list that was wrong with truck.

The owner(?) called me and told me he needed me there before 10am. Told him the website said they were open until noon, he stated "the website doesn't know I have plans". I thought it was really unprofessional , and the time of his voice confirmed the fact that he didn't care at all if this would be an issue. He was also rude upon pick up. I guess I shouldn't be surprised , I e yet to have a positive experience with anything uhaul related.

Location refused to deliver an appliance dolly that I had rented and verified, which put a serious cramp on our moving process, because he was "too far away." Truck cab was dirty. Cigarette butts (at least 3) and ashes still in ashtray - cab reeked of stale cigarettes. Cab clearly was not vacuumed at any point. Truck cargo area roof had a leak and, since we moved in the rain, a number of our boxes wound up soaking wet because of that roof leak.

Drove from Milwaukee to Green Bay wi to pick up the truck and was told my reservation was canceled due to the lack of truck and was told i was called to be notified of the cancellation and I was not. Had to drive to Appleton just to pick up the truck just to drive it back to green bay.

Horrible experience. Took over 2 hours to get the trailer, first trailer was not in working order. One staff member left the facility in a hurry causing him to kick up rocks at my truck and thank God my children were not outside because he very easily would have hurt one of them. Once we received the trailer, there were computer problems which then lead to being given the trailer without it being in the system. This lead to HUGE problems and a phone call to customer service which lasted over one hour. Even with all of this, Uhaul did not offer a discount. I was very unhappy and will not use this company again. But even more so, I do not recommend using Dave's for pick up or drop off.

The place is dirty and old. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned or updated in 50 years. I spent the 30 minutes setting up the express check in so I wouldn't have to spend so much time there, and they went thru everything like I never did the express check in. Took forever.

Personnel started off gruff and stern. There was issue with furniture pads that I thought I purchased and not rented, so the pads ended up used in my storage unit. We spent hrs trying to get them back out but couldn't get them all in the end. I called Uhaul and they said I could purchase them and pay a missing item fee. Return place however stated that they could not be purchased. In the end I again spent 1/2 hr on the phone w/ uhaul while the personnel at the shop finally called their higher up people and it was decided that we just had to pay missing items fee but were told to return them later in a few months when I buy house and get stuff out of storage. In the end, personnel were ok to deal with but the process was frustrating and stressful.

The location was not open at the posted time in the morning. I ended up poking it up 1 1/2- 2 hours later. However, they did reconcile by offering longer hours for the rental and throwing an appliance dolly in for free. I believe in punctuality.

The physical location is very constrained from a space standpoint and the office was disheveled, but Rick was helpful, the process was easy, and the equipment was available as promised. The truck itself was very beat up and old (glad I only had to go a handful of highway miles), but it got the job done none the less

The owner told me that I should not have booked on U-haul.com when I picked up my truck and also tried to tell me that I was going to be charged for 4 days worth of service for a 15’ Truck because of how I booked my reservation. When I returned my truck, the fuel tank was on Full, but not to his liking. After filling the tank up as high as it could go, the reader did not move at all, the owner raised his voice and yelled at me. If I ever have to use a U-haul in this area again, I will never use him.

I do not think this review should be restricted to the location of pick up alone. The location was fine and they helped me return the vehicle despite problems I was having with the unattended rent and return program. THAT part needs some work. I like the after hours convienience idea. But the folks you have to communicate with are SLOW. And the service was spotty in a well populated area.
