Our vehicle was not properly hooked to the auto dolly and it caused damage to the exterior of our vehicle under each door. The West Des Moines U-Haul confirmed that they improperly hooked it up and gave us bad advice altogether(putting the vehicle in neutral; we did do it the right way by putting it in park). There were issues with the air conditioning sporadically working. There was also annoying and unusual beeping noises coming from the interior of the uhaul truck. Therefore, we are hoping that U-Haul will consider giving us a discount from the original charges. We have used U-Haul in the past and have never had a bad experience like this. Delgado Auto is nothing short of amazing. I am partially deaf and struggle to hear important details, but Delgado Auto was so kind and made sure I could understand everything and the rental process was smooth and seamless, also the staff was professional and helpful in every way! Our U-Haul truck's battery went dead when we were at the storage unit. We had to get it jumpstarted. Because of this difficulty, I was worried about bringing the truck to a service station and turning it off in order to fill it up with gas. Also, I was worried about using this truck to move any other items today because I did not want it to result in a dead battery again. When I dropped off the truck, the gentleman told me that the battery was working just fine. I do know, though, that neither I nor my ex could get the engine to turn over when we were at the storage unit.MICHELLE F.

Have the vehicle where the customer ordered it instead of making them drive 30 minutes to pick it up. Not a happy customer! Ordered pick up in Chapel Hill and had to drive to Pittsboro for pick up. Someone should have gone to bring a care to Chapel Hill for me. Why should the customer have to go out of their way to pick up the truck.Bryan O.

I could not use the truck I reserved online because it didn't have a ramp I didn't know that so I returned it in about 10 minutes and upgraded to a bigger one with a ramp but was charged for both rentals WIch was unacceptable I will never use u haul again as long as I live very disappointed I'm thinking about going to my local news and complaining call for actionChristopher F.
