Have the truck available that you advertise. i asked for a ten foot and got a fifteen foot. I should have been charge for the ten foot rate because of your lack of trucks. The lady at the front desk was not very helpful. All she said was we are North American wide, in other words you business really doesn't matter.

Only had the U-Haul booked for 6 hours (10am-4pm) and the lady showed up late to the location. She arrived at 10:20am. In addition, the mobile/smartphone truck pick up option (that we got switched to without our consent) was horrible and a struggle to get through.

It’s winter. It’s cold and the roads are icy. When I went to pick up the rental it was completely covered in snow and ice. I had to shovel out the back of the rental before I could even use it. The inside smelled like cigarette smoke and overall it was dirty. The windshield has a huge crack right through the middle which hampered my visibility. The tires felt like summer tires which provided no traction on the icy roads. I was sliding everywhere and kept getting stuck in a half an inch of snow. It will be a long time before I rent from uhaul again. I would rate this experience at zero stars if it was an option.

I was double charged for my rental and when I did the check out process, I selected to have a U-Haul representative call me to discuss being overcharged. It has been 2 weeks since I returned the truck and no one has called to discuss. I will be disputing the payment with my credit card company, because I did NOT authorize U-Haul to charge my card for the amount in the receipt. This has been a terrible U-Haul experience.

First went to Brandon bus lines to get the trailer,the customer service and shop was not good. Told them to cancel it. Went to Discount Tire and delt with Sam there and he was awesome to say the least. Very good customer service

When I went to self check in, it took over an hour to get the authorization. I attempted to call the company as well and was put on hold for that long as well as the online chat took the same amount of time. Once I finally had the truck (which looked like it was in a trash yard with old cars that don’t work) only to realize they also didn’t leave the dolly. No dolly meant the guys had to lift which resulted in my stove being dropped and my washer falling during the stairs portion. I mentioned this to the lady. Instead of taking off the charges. She made it seem like giving me $20 discount was amazing. But I still got charged the $10 for the dolly and so I got about $8 discount for my trouves when my bill was over $150. I will not use their services again.

Very un-organized, slow, cluttered and dirty location. Wrecked vehicles, tires and scrap all over the lot made it difficult to maneuver to get the trailer. The equipment I rented worked great and was in good condition, however one of the tire tie-down straps was frayed at the end so it was very difficult to feed through the ratchet. Was able to feed it through after 5 min of work and it secured the tire down as it should.

The inside of the trailer was quite dirty/greasy - I don’t know of that can be fixed given that it’s a trailer. Certainly no reflection on the excellent service we received picking the trailer up.

Despite an email below confirming my ability to pick up the truck at 0700, I could not. When I arrived and signed in, I was told that I had to wait until 1000 when the business opened. This made me three hours late for my commitment. This is completely unacceptable and caused me great inconvenience so I will make every effort to use other providers for my future vehicle needs. Truck was beyond filthy with grime and snack foods all over the cab.

I had problems with the truck stopped from rain, but twice and was 6 hours. Then 4 had to take a hotel to wait for truck to dry out! I should get something from the fact this was not me the storms.

The location was good, no issues there. The main problem was the online booking. I had inputted the correct information for an out of town option from Brandon,mb to portage la prairie, mb that required a 10 foot trailer. When I arrived the only trailer that I had signed up for was an in town trailer - that I had to bring back the same night costing me more gas and time. Not to mention the price went from 40$ to 120$. Overall this experience with uhaul was not satisfactory.

We rented the pick up and the inside of the truck was dirty and something sticky was spilled as well. When I went to pay, I was charged for insurance that is not mandatory and I did not ask for.

When I arrived to drop off the trailer, I phoned the number I was given. No one answered and I had to unhitch the trailer on my own, in a muddy parking lot. At least there was an open stall available for me.

Truck was filthy and not washed on outside could not tell if it had damage or not. The box of truck was discusting sticky tar/syrup on all bed-liner so whatever you put in box was covered needed to pressure wash out on my coin and still was horrible/ the cab was disgusting garbage, dirty, dusty,sticky, pig sty-/ really poorly run franchise quality control very poor.

The trailer was dirty on the inside and out side. The hook for the emergency hydraulic break was worn and way and had to be zip tied together.

I had to go to princess auto twice to get parts I wasn't aware I would need for a tow dolly. They did hook up the tow dolly to my vehicle which was awesome! Prior knowledge of what was required would have been appreciated but we still arrrived at our final destination without issue. Everyone was friendly and generous with their time.

Very poor customer service directly at Uhaul. Having me run all over the city paying for taxi services 3 times at the cost of $70 and then charging me and additional day because I was 10-15 mins late to return the truck. YOU ARE THE REASON THAT I WAS LATE. I scheduled a pick up for 9:00am and did not get a truck until 10:15am. I want a refund not a "I apologize for that, but that's the contract." You broke my contract and I have to suffer for it.

After returning the vehicle as per the rules and contract with uhaul the staff did not input the vehicle as having been returned so I was charged an additional 147.73 and had to call them so they could fix it and send me my money back which I then had to wait to get back into my account. If the staff had done their jobs right I would never have had the money taken to begin with. It was unacceptable.

The fellow from Brandon told us to fill the fuel tank before going to Winnipeg. We didn't need that much gas, so we spent too much on fuel that we didn't need. Brought it back with almost 3/4 of a tank instead of 1/2! Love to have that credited back to me.

Before attending the location, there seemed to be some confusion about whether our reservation had been entered into the system. We did not receive email notification two days prior confirming the reservation of the truck, so we had to call to confirm. Once it was confirmed, everything went pretty smoothly.

The outlet (ABC)was ok..but the Brandon bus Lines where I ordered the truck was incompetent.I did not receive an email that my outlet was changing..phoned the dealer (BBL) about arrangements for the key..she couldn't find my order but said she call me back.never heard from her..went to the outlet and she had left for the weekend.The whole experience was a nightmare!.Plus the rude surprise of having to pay more because the difference between out of town and in-town rates were never explained to me.Horrible! Horrible! Will never deal with Uhaul again! ironically a friend of mine who was moving at the same time used ABC Auto outlet and had just as horrible time..ordered the trailer thru BBL and was never told ABC was handling it.I have used Uhaull in the past and both times everything went seamless..funny how a company can slide downhill..

This was an absolutely awful experience. Went to pick up the u-haul at 1 and the rude woman (apparently the manager) said that my rental was at 4. I told her that I changed it and I showed her the text from u-haul that I received showing the 1:00 time. She did not care one bit! She took her purse and I assume went for lunch, leaving the nice young lady to deal with it. I had men hired to load it for me and came from Minnedosa. We drove back to Minnedosa to continue packing and then drove back again for 4 to pick it up, I was lucky that the men I hired could change the time. When we picked it up she then took an additional 1/2 hr to complete the transaction. She then told me I need to be patient, REALLY!!!!!! I have been waiting for the truck that I booked for 4 hours and she tells me to be patient!!! This is a very rude, ignorant woman!! This is a horrible place and since then I have heard of other terrible stories from there. Why is such a place representing u-haul???? We stopped at the Advantage Auto location and that gentlemen did his best to try to find a truck for us. We made it to Winnipeg at 10 pm then the next morning your u-haul place in Winnipeg called to see if I would be dropping it off early in a friendly voice. When I told her no, her friendly turned to not so friendly!! I rented from u-haul before and had no problem at all, if this was my first experience I would not do it again. You need to close out her business and deal with the Advantage location!! People are already stressed when moving, dealing with a person like that is very unnecessary!!! I hope that you at least respond to my comments.

This location was awesome, however every about the reservation was awful. The reservation was made weeks ahead of time and confirmed, yet the day of it got changed and no one let us know. The time and location was changed and we were unaware. When we went to pick up the uhaul we were told of the changes. Then the lady at the new location (advantage) was rude and said we were late 8 hours (although we were not told of the changes) and then insisted we had to return it a day early. We canceled and went back to abc where they helped us find something that would work. At the beginning our whole uhaul experience was awful, but abc helped make it somewhat better.

I requested 2 dolly rentals with my online order and was not given any, the back of the truck was filthy and had to be cleaned by us before we could load it, and there were a ton of moving mats just strewn all over the back of the truck, mats i never requested but had to fold up and put away in order to get them out of the way of our move. The man inside was polite and friendly, but the truck was returned in better conditioned then it was given to me. Also I tried to originally rent a 20' truck, and was called many times with truck changes, i went from a 20 to a 15 to a 10 to a 26 or 27 footer on the day of. I haven't received my invoice yet, hopefully they honor they're word and charge me the $29.95 rate and give me my first 20km's free, but if i get charged extra for this truck i will be heard from in a much more negative manner. All in all this experience was not what I would have expected from such a well known corporation.

The store level was great. However before I even had the vehicle loaded on my dolley I was texted and emailed by uhaul informing me I would have to return my rental to the location I rented it from. This would be 200km extra travel for me. When I contacted uhaul they informed me it was an issue on their end. I'm not sure why they thought I would burn a bunch more fuel in my vehicle and take 2 hours out of my day to do uhaul a favor. No discount of any sort was offered. After talking to uhaul I was allowed to return to my original destination

Was frustrating that there were no available UHAuls in our starting location and we had to drive 5 hours (there and back) to go pick one up. Customer service was nice, but when we arrived at the UHAul location we had to wait 15 minutes before the staff who could help us showed up.

Truck was filthy. Had trouble booking. The pick up location I chose wasn't available and was told I would have to pick up in a city 2.5 hours away when there is other locations in my city. All in all very much a regular u haul experience.
