This was a terrible experience. Not only did I get sent to a non-existent location to return my uhaul (which took time, energy, and gas money) but then they charged a significant amount for being slightly under on gas.Kylee B.

Guy in Elkhart was a JERK!! He had two entrances. Cars sitting around and U-Haul trailers on both ends of the gravel parking lot. Office was in middle of lot. and no signs where to park the Dollies or returned vehicles or trailers or dollies. First thing he said was I had to move it from one end of the lot to the other. I said I can't back it up the other dealer told me. He looked where I parked it and said that wasn't very smart. I asked if he could help me unload it or if I could pay to have it unhitched. He said I am not unloading it!! Very smart elick!? I walked out and started unloading it like I saw them put it on the trailer in Cincinnati. I played the YouTube Video on Uhaiul's website thanks to seeing the address on the fender of the tow dolly. That helped me get the straps loose.. I just wasn't pulling hard enough. I lifted it off myself and started rolling it back and he strolls out and I asked him where he wanted it. At that point he said lets put it over on other side of lot. He was going to move some cars so I could pull it over to that end of lot before while still on RV. But I was able to get it off and put it on far side of lot where he wanted it without him having to move any cars. Just not a nice person and had an attitude from the time I walked in the door. I paid $20 extra for U-Haul to help put car on Dolly in Cincinnati. I would have gladly paid him $20 also but he said as I was leaving that he was not allowed to take car off dolly for insurance reasons. But he could have helped show me what to do without being a JERK.Dennis K.

I have dealt with this location before. No issues, easy access and Rob is a very nice guy to deal with. I called a day early to see if I could pick up the truck and it was ready for me that afternoon. Definitely would recommend and will use him again.SHERRY D.

I went to that location I got there at 9:15 the owner was not at his desk he was outside I told him good morning when she did not say it back then I gave him my information which was my name and the location of where I'm moving truck from then he asked me real rudely what is the address that I'm taking the trucks to which I told him it was a storage he was like you don't know the address inside a real snotty I will not recommend that location to my friends for a U-HaulKizzie S.

Returning the trailer on Saturday was difficult. There seemed to be no option for marking it returned on my account page. Tried calling the Uhaul number and had to wait excessively several times to get a live agent. Reported that the trailer leaked water during both trips, by the right rear corner. Boxes got wet and fell apart so it was a large amount of water.Rob F.

Did not check the mileage when I got the uhaul, he just used what the last guy wrote. Drove under 10 miles yet mileage said I drove 60. He pointed out that if the last person had transposed the last two digits then my mileage was actually 7 miles. He agreed I probably didn't drive 60 miles in that short a time. And the gas was barely used, as I hadn't put any back in. Even pulled out Google maps to check how far I went (it said 8 miles). Despite all this, because of someone else's error, he couldn't correct the mileage. He was able to put in 30 miles instead, but at a dollar a mile that's a lot more than I was planning on spending to move right down the road.Melissa M.

The return location was dirty and nasty. The personnel was not friendly and basically told me that I would have to contact the corporate office to I have my issue resolved. â€œThere was nothing he could doâ€. I was charged to replace two blankets that I never received. U-Haul's mistake but my money. Not happy. Will never use U-Haul again.Andrew R.

The gentleman was not happy that we got there at 10 min before closing due to unexpected 45 min trip to location that should have been 15. When we had problems with the hitch receiver and ball he was not happy and was not a bit concerned about letting us know.. I am not sure why we were directed to this location when there is a location two minutes from our house either. They had the trailer we needed at their location as well.Kevin K.

My reservation was to be at the low go then it was placed at a different store across town was physically at that store the day before my pick up and they said all was good n didn't know why my reservation was changed locations got to said location Friday for my 4:30 pick up time to find out thy didn't have my reserved truck and they sent me else where. There was no information regarding the location of the drop off key box. We could not find it anywhere. We weren't given instructions on where to find it as we were returning the truck after hours. The process was not the easiest to understand. The only communication we received was through an online chat system. We had no other options but the put the key above the visor and lock the truck. Two days later (Monday) I get a very unfriendly phone call about locking the keys in the truck, which to my knowledge is what we were supposed to do since that was where we found them first and we could not locate the drop off box. There was no one available to help us. I'm very dissatisfied.Antony Y.
When I booked the Car dolly, i entered the make and model for the vehicle I was going to tow. When I i arrived in a heavy snow storm to get the vehicle, the dolly was to narrow and I had to return the dolly without ever using it. Very frustrating. I have not contacted the location yet.Johan T.
