We had a pretty good experience at the rental location. The Gentleman who runs the operation was very helpful and seemed to genuinely care about getting everything right. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The furniture pads were damp and not clean. I opened the bag and noticed green stains and a mildew-like smell as the pads were taken out and unfolded.

I was dropping off a 15' truck and an auto transport. There was barely enough space to turn around. It would be much better if there was a way to pull through (2 places to enter/ exit), or if the trucks had not been parked so close. People were super friendly though.

The location and the ruck were fine, and the employee who eventually helped me because the online check-in process failed horribly was great. The rental reservation process and pick up were about as awful as they could have been. I placed my reservation online 3 weeks in advance. When our moving date changed, I immediately updated my reservation - still 2 weeks in advance. The day before I was due to pick up my truck - less than 24 hours beforehand - everything went sideways on U-Haul's end. First, I was told my original reservation at the original location wouldn't be ready on time. They transferred my reservation to another location, but then the reservation time was 2.5 hours later than I had requested. I called the location and they moved the time up to the correct pick up time. Then U-Haul dispatch called and said my truck wouldn't be available at the second location at the reserved time, if it would be available at all. They call me back an hour later and tell me it will be available, but I have to pick it up an hour later than requested. Fine. I show up at the location at the new time and start the online check in process. After the system says it's authorizing me for 10 minutes I find an employee who does the check-in for me, who lets me know he had my truck ready for me AT MY ORIGINAL TIME. I needed this truck to move from an old rental to my new home. We had friends helping with the move who I had to keep updated lest I waste their time. And I still ended up 30 minutes late because the online check-in was so bad. When I was told I may get a smaller truck than the one I reserved (a 26 footer was necessary for the job) I asked what U-Haul intended to do to make it right. Nothing. No apologies for all the confusion and chaos. No promise to make it up to me for giving me the run around. Just complete disregard for my needs. The amount of stress I went through with this reservation was ridiculous and completely preventable, and should I require a truck rental at some point in the future I'll do anything to avoid U-Haul again, even if it means I have to spend more money.

The trailer neck is bent and unsafe to drive. The tires are in horrible condition. This trailer should not be rented

Rented a trailer for 6hrs online picked up at noon wasn't told they hrs were only 9AM to 4pm being an extra day my return time was 6pm never us this location again also a didnt know you can use a residential for a uhaul location

took > 30 minutes to check out van even with pre-registration. Seat cushion was un-even,made driving painful Truck was only 1/8 tank, made it impossible to return at same level.

The truck was clean, you can tell the hasn’t been Maintained in a long time we had one hell of time ramp it got stuck we had to use WD-40 I used u-haul for a long time never had a problem with the truck until now.

Was awful, I was charged over $4,000 and dealt with a shit show of customer service and waiting for hours. I first had my reservation changed to a location an hour away, had to pay for extra gas, then charged $4,000 due to a mistake from the uhaul renters. It put a full freeze on my bank and caused a lot of issues for me throughout the week. I will likely never be using uhaul again for any moving needs. What should have been an easy move turned into several hours of extra work and stress dealing with utter nonsense.

I had a problem when it came to returning the equipment after hours. Not everyone is comfortable using cell phones to turn in information and when I tried to get assistance , I waited on the phone for more than 30 minutes because, I did not want to get an additional charge. There needs to be a more user friendly system.

Feel the availability of the equipment I wanted is a bait and switch. If Uhaul is sincere about the customer experience, if the desired location does not have the desired equipment, then the additional miles to pick up and drop off the desired equipment from the desired location should be taken off the mileage usage.

I was over charged by over $45 and have to drive back to the location because you can’t reach anybody by phone at all. Never will I rent from. U-Haul again or recommend it to anybody. Absolute nightmare

The truck had a spilled stain in there, but overall the truck was clean. The owner of this location was very nice and explained everything thoroughly. I would visit this location again when needed.

I did not know that it would take a while to pick up the truck once I arrived at the location. It would be helpful if that were put in the confirmation email or something, so people know to get there a bit early or not to be in a rush.

My quoted total was around $70, yet I've been charged $171 with no real explanation as to what the ridiculous overcharge is for. Expecting a correction or else I'm putting you on blast.
