Good day, My name is Nicole Applewhite, I rented a UHAUL from your company on 12/24/2020. The vehicle was brought back on time and within the normal miles. Why is my bill $153.09? That bill is crazy. I am furious, if I knew that's how high a price to pay for a few hours rental, I would not have come to you and I would have gone somewhere else where I paid $19.95. Whoever had the truck before me spilled soda in the cup holders and on the floor so it was sticky and looked dirty. Before I returned the truck I cleaned the cups the best I could and the floor. It still needed to be cleaned some more. I also vacuumed.Dora A.

Worst experience renting a uhaul. Trucks should be looked over by owner before they are rented out. Also very disappointed when I called for reservation and was told that the uhaul was 2.4 miles out of Smyrna Delaware which is where I love and come to find out they sent me 30 minutes out of the way. Spent more money just to go get the uhaul then I even needed it for.Helen B.

Drop off location was 17 miles out of my way. A closer location was in Hamlin Pa. I was charged for going 5 miles over the allowable milage and also for gas after I had filled up the tank. I know the gauge reads a little lower than full, but that was because I had to drive the extra 17 miles.DANIEL H.

Scheduled pickup for 12:30 PM. Due to congested traffic in area I arrived at 12:45 PM. Was informed that that clerk who handled rentals stepped out for an hour (for lunch and personal errands) and that it was no one there that could assist me. Was told to try and attempted self check through phone but failed .Meanwhile, I waited an hour for clerk to return while paying 100 dollars an hour for movers who was sitting at residence waiting for truck to arrive. I have never encountered this at any uhaul facility. I have always encountered multiple friendly staff who could assist customers. This rental costs me extra in moving expenses as well as time and rental agent didn't even care or apologize. The truck was excellent but the customer service at this location is horrible.Jeffrey C.

Van had defective tire pressure sensor, seats were dirty and radio/audio system didn't work properly. The franchise also mis-stated the amount of fuel in the vehicle at pickup (they said there was more in the tank than there actually was).Seymour J.

When a person calls to reserve see if they need packing blankets and those load brace things so load doesn't move in truck. If you can't supply let them know where to get them from. Also I was not aware I had 3 days with the truck I thought it needed to be returned 24 hrs later since I was only going about 350 miles.Mary S.
Inform customers ahead of time if you are not going to have them pice up a truck in an inmaned location. Please remember that I am 58 and have rented from you before aand when you change your procedures you need to inform and educate your customers not treat them like they are stupid......THAT IS HOW I WAS TREATED BY YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN I CALLED THE 800 NUMBER FOR ASSISTANCE.Joseph D.
I will not use uhaul again. The costumer support put me on hold for 15 minutes and still couldn't help. Why do I need to download an app to rent a truck?? I couldnt get my truck for 2.5 hours after scheduled pick up. The truck sounded like it was about to lose a front wheel. Had I not been moving locally I would have had to switch trucks, I will be using someone else's the next time I need a truckDavid B.

We had to drop off before the store opened in order to be on time with the return. It was not logged in until over 6 hours later. It was reported as an extra day. Glad we took a pick of the gas gage, that was marked wrong as well. Ultimately we were refunded all overage costs. But, come on U-Haul, train your employees properly. It makes us feel your company is not trustworthy. I'll never bring back before or after hours again.Thomas B.

Van smelled like it was last used to haul fertilizer. It wasn't filthy, but not really clean enough to haul a bed and chairs. It was well maintained. Also, your website wouldn't take my driver's license number, even though it was legitimate. Thankfully an employee came in early, because we could not do on-line check in for early use.Andrew W.

After reserving a cargo van for 9AM pickup, using the 24/7 app, I get a call the night before saying I had to wait unitl 11AM because the location was unable to understand how to prepare for a 24/7 pickup. This was meant rescheduling the planned move, that day.Ronald B.

My problems lie with the scheduling office, the traffic office....I schedule a 20 foot truck on the Uhaul website 5 to 6 days prior and scheduling calls at 630p the night before to tell me they don't have a truck for me?!....nice organizational skills, NOT!!!Chris S.

We rented the truck online for 3:00pm which it said it would be available sat that time but it wasn't available so we had to call back at which that time it was available.Charles J.
The employees were friendly and helpful, The truck had garbage in the front seat. We tracked our mileage for our move with the truck and it should have only been around 24 miles, but they charged us for 42 miles. I called the location and they explained that it is all computerized and referred me to uhaul customer service. When I did call, there was a long wait period, so I have not gotten to speak with anyone about the matter yet.Grace S.
