Location is not clearly visible from the road. Additionally, it is not easily accessed due to all of the traffic and there not being a light at the access road where the faciiity is located. That said, Ian, the rental advisor that was working that day was very friendly & helpful.Angela E.

the strap around tires were loose one came off and a truck driver stopped to help us get it back on...I believe we deserve a refund for that.. we could have lost our vehicle and ur company would be buying us a new car...the people need better training at the bondurant locationPeggy Q.

This is NOT the location that is getting the negative feedback! The feedback is for the representative, Olga/Elga, who called after the 6pm promised call, the day before pick up. When reserving a truck well in advance, make sure the reserved truck it at the location it should be! Do not make the customer have to hunt down the truck from another town then tell the customer, when a reservation was made it was only a request we have the vehicle we want. The location where we had to travel to pick up a vehicle was great & the person we dealt with was amazing!NYLE S.
Got called to confirm my drop off location and told the customer service rep that I'd return it to the Altoona location. They okayed it and told me they'd note it on my reservation. Went to drop the truck off and found out my reservation didn't say the Altoona location, so I called and they told me the Altoona location was closed permanently and that I had to return it to a different location (even though I confirmed the drop off location previously on the phone with them earlier in the day). Took the truck to the second location and this location was in a spot where I didn't have cell service. Called U-Haul again and they made note on my reservation that I dropped the keys off but couldn't electronically submit my return. Got an email the next day with my receipt.Morgan B.

The windshield was dirty, full of bug splats. There was an empty carryout food container, lid, plastic fork, and two face masks under the seat. One of the two backup lights was burnt out. Appears this was only a transfer/pickup/drop off terminal, not a full processing center.JEFFREY S.

U-Haul changed the pickup location two days prior to the pickup date. The new location was 30 miles form where I had first anticipated to pickup, costing me time and gas in in the rented truck. U-Haul should have moved the type truck to my intended pickup location as a courtesy. They also should have provided a discount to cover 1/8 of a tank of gas fo the extra drive. I was very frustrated that I had to travel 40 minutes in both directions in order to pick up a trailer that I had reserved 3 weeks prior for pick up in Ames, Iowa. It was not clear that making a reservation does not guarantee the equipment will be at the location you reserved it for. I don't know what the point of making a reservation prior to pick up if the equipment is not going to be at the location you chose.KARI S.

I would definitely recommend a better direction for the key drop off.. I couldn't find it so I did put it in the mail box I think it's in the door of the building. The man who helped was great! Everything went so smooth for me that I don't see the need of any changes.Diane E.
Cleaning the inside of cab! The cup holders were very dirty and had wet colored stuff in it and also in the door by the handle had wet residue in them. We also had a tire blow out on our trailer pulling our car only about 5 minutes from home and that put us 2 hours behind schedule by the time someone came to fix it! So by the time we got to our destination it was so late We had to stay in a hotel! We scheduled this several weeks in advance and got a call a few days before that instead of picking up in Waukee we needed to pickup our uhaul in Boundurant Because they didn't have a trailer for us. Completed on-line process day before pick-up (upload photo of license, payment, etc.). Email said pick-up @ 0915. Arrived @ 0915 and had to wait until 0950 (one person working?) with no mention of the wait time. Informed had to complete registration again, despite showing email including payment. I think it is overkill to charge me a 20 dollar convenience fee to drop off my truck EARLY after store hours. There is nothing convenient about the online hoops you have to jump through to return after hours. I believe there should be a discount for early return, not an extra fee.Timothy S.

When I went to pickup the truck the windows had not been cleared of snow. I asked if he had a snow brush he said no. He proceeded to take his arms and remove the snow. The window still had snow on it so the wipers would not work properly. I have rented from other uhaul companies in the snow and they have always had the windows cleared off including the snow above the cab. I did appreciate his assistance when I asked him to please direct me when I backed up. I just felt customer service lacked at this location. Moving to Bondurant I felt I wanted to use a local business for our movet but unfortunately this was not a good experience over allLisa B.

The customer service rep said it was 10 miles away. It was 18 miles away from where we were originally picking it up. When we finally get there, the guy couldn't finish our rental and had to start over. He was very friendly but it took way longer than it should have to pick it up. Lastly, he put the mark for the fuel in the wrong place so we had to pay a fee.Brianna F.

There was not much information given at the time of pickup as to how the process worked for return after hours. So we weren't able to upload pictures correctly because we locked the doors and turned in the key before we knew that using the mobile app would ask for al kinds of pictures. The check engine light was on from the moment we rented it until we returned it. Just hoped nothing went wrong. My suggestion would be to always rent and return during business hours.Cindy L.
