I made the reservation through a call center. Was sent to Holt Feed. I was told I could rent a hitch as well. The owner of Holt feed laughed at me, said his facility didn't rent out hitches then told me to go buy one from Walmart. Very rude customer service.

I received 9 text messages with three different pickup addresses and numerous phone calls. Would like to see a system coordinating the pickup. On the positive side, I had three trucks waiting for pickup at three different locations and I only made one reservation

I was told on paper and by U-Haul that the location closed at 6. I pulled up to the location around 5:15 and they were closed, I'm sure due to the coronavirus. So I did my normal turn in on my U-Haul app and got everything taken care. Well this morning I wake up and I have a $20 late fee added to my card. It's is not my fault that their hours changed on paper. I'm not responsible for that information. I was moving to a new city and was unfamiliar with the place. The over all service test was not good at all!

The guy at the counter was extremely rude when we picked up the U-Haul and basically said it was college moving weekend and he didn't care because he could rent it out immediately to someone else, and then charged us for an extra day for everything when they were closed to receive the return. He marked the return when they were open again and charged us almost another $100.00. In addition to never renting from this location again, I will also advise friends to not visit his regular feed store business due to the way he spoke and treated us

Easy enough to pick up and drop off. They didn't want to complete charging while I was there. Promised me a receipt via email which I never got. Ended up being 3 charges with no explanation of what they were about. Brakes are a little iffy.

Make sure that your confirmation is a true confirmation. I reserved a truck from Royse City Hardware. Then at 6:00, the night before they changed me to a location further away.

They did not know where the closest dropoff in Stephenville. I was told they was not a dealer in Stephenville. I went to web and found at least 4. The renting location also had the gas amount in the truck marked about 1/8 tank off and of course I was charged extra at dropoff. I put it up to what it was when I drove out of Uhaul. The truck was parked on a hill at pickup location which in turn made the guage show more gas. On level land it was lower.

They put the payment on the wrong credit card. We handed them the correct card to charge vs the hold card and they went ahead and put it in the hold card which was our debit card and it wiped out our daughters account. When we called about it we were told “sternly” it was just a hold, well on a debit it takes the money out! To the point you can't use it! Will not use them again. We will drive a bit further to avoid the poor customer service.

They were sort of hard to deal with. They knew we were in a hurry and they kelp putting up road blocks for me and I didn't appreciate it at all. I hope I never have to deal with them again. They wanted me to add the insurance to the trailer but I didn't feel like I need it at the time and I am glad I didn't.

Customer service was bland. Signed paper work and she just handed over the keys. No inspection of the truck.. I had to take pictures of everything to make sure I wasnt pinned with made up damages.. I was also upset about the fees if I wanted to take the truck to a closer location to where I was going.

The truck I rented was filthy and a complete piece of junk. This was the first time I have ever used uhaul & it will be my last . I would never recommend any of my family or friends to use these very unsafe trucks. I will stay with Penski that I have always used, their trucks are well maintained & safe.??

Chris and Amanda are plain awesome! They were friendly, efficient and not excessively pushy on upselling (good attempts though) and appreciate the 'quick training' on use and safety and helping hook up!! Up and beyond!

My name is Woodrow Bonesio. I rented a U-Haul truck under the referenced contract on Friday, February 24, 2017, at 5:00 pm. The salesperson said that since I was renting the truck on Friday, that the mileage fee would be $89.00 per mile, instead of the weekly rate of $1.09. You charged $1.09 per mile anyway. Second, he stated that I did not have to turn it in exactly at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017. If I needed a couple of extra hours, go ahead and park it and turn in the keys and my mileage, and amount of gas purchased( $25,00), and they would not charge me but one day. You have charged two days. Had I known this in advance, and needed it for longer than 24 hours, I would have kept the truck and used it for 48 hours. If this is the way you handle customer relations, then I am going to hereby cancel the truck I have reserved for Tuesday morning, February 28, 2017, Confirmation #80737655. I can't afford it now. I reserved at another location closer to my home. then i was called and told i needed to pick up at a locale farther away due to them not having the truck. i asked if i would be credited for the 10-15 miles out of the way round trip it was and was told no. i think that is not really fair...
