When my reservation was made over the phone the email I got said the location was in Port Huron, but when I completed my online check in it was changed to Kimball. I was happy with the location, it's just when you're paying mileage it's nicer to be as close as possible.Brenda F.

Dropped off the car trailer after hours. Had trouble getting the straps to release--called u-haul several times and was never able to get through to a person at road side assistance--talked to a u-haul agent each time, but was always transferred to a recorded voice that told me I'd have to contact road side assistance via the web. Less than satisfactory.JON M.

Stop having hidden fess. I was told it would cost 139.00 after I got there it ended up costing me 202.94 plus 20.00 for gas after we were done and dropped it off. I can't stand companies that do this. This can't be good for business you basically lied to me period. I honest shoulda just left and took my kids clothes my clothes anything else that was truthly important to me and left everything else just to have saved myself the cost of this rental. I will not recommend u-haul to anyone.Heather N.

I was told I could drop off in Port Huron MI and when I called the closest location I had expected to drop at was Full and I had to drive waynout of my way to Drop the vehicle off. Troy should have told me This was a possibility as I was really tight on timeTim S.
do a better job calculating distance. there was more than 54 miles between Kimball my home at 6 hummingbird Drive Lake Orion Michigan and the facility you had me drop it off at. Just did not take into account the fact that I had to drive to Marysville past Meijer by 3 miles to get my belongings. also there was a train blocking two other ways to the storage unit I had to drive all the way back up the road to Lapeer and then down the next way and the back up and then down Michigan Avenue which cost me more in miles there was no wiggle room for having to go around a train that brought the tracks. I had planned on picking up the truck at another location closer to where we needed to use it but was told this was the only location that had the truck. Then the sales person tried to overcharge me and we only ended up getting the truck for a day and a half even though I paid for 2 days. I wasn't allowed to drop the truck back off at another location closer to where we were so there is plenty of extra mileage that I'm stuck paying for. Also, the truck was on 1/4 of a tank of gas when I picked it up, and I've used uhaul quite a few times now and I've never gotten a truck that was under 3/4 tank of gas when picking it up. I immediately had to take it to put gas into it. I should receive cash back for being under the mileage but have to wait till tomorrow, because the business is closed today Monday, January 15, 2018. I had planned on using Uhaul within the next 2 months but now am hesitant because of this experience.Christina H.

Make sure the garage does not go up too far. The latch got wedged between the roof and lip of the opening. I needed a crowbar to get it unstuck.Brian F.

We end up having to pay a much higher rate for truck then was quoted online. I personally contacted U Haul prior to pickup on 3 separate occasions to make sure we had the proper amount of money. We have used U Haul many times before and have always been pleased with the all services. Will not recommend this particular company to anyone.Todd C.

The truck had a blown fuse so the car tow lights wouldn't work. Took an hour and a half to figure issue out. I was moving out of state and I had to be in the other state at a certain time. This put me behind a couple hours. When I spoke to Tracy at the (248) number she was extremely rude and not helpful at all. It basically wasnt her issue, just deal with it type attitude. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service I received from her. There was no manager to speak to, she claimed.Dawn M.

The fact that the uhaul place was 5miles from my house and I was charged for the total of 10miles just to get the uhaul plus what we used to move our household items! Also when I went to drop the uhaul off on Sunday in a massive snow storm I had to go myself to break the deposit money in order to pay for my uhaul because they didn't have change! My move was literally 2 miles from my new house to my old and we made 2 trips total of 8 miles and yet I paid for 26 miles. Never received a final receipt! Also on the truck there was not a ramp to help load stuff into the back of the uhaul_ I will never rent a uhaul again and will suggest to my friends and family not to as well!Felicia F.
I dropped off after hours and it was very difficult to find this building. There were no U-haul signs or lights nearby to indicate where it was, causing me to pass it by and having to turn around. I suggest they add a lighted U-haul sign near the street.nicoloas P.

Make sure the trailer wiring isnt hacked together and will work for longer than an hour. Obvious broken wires and multiple butt connectors in a few inch section should be noticed and fixed promptly, not just when the lights fonally stop working, in my case that was in the middle of a several hindred mile trip.Matt B.
