I rented a dolly with the truck, showed up to pick up truck and there was no dolly, location was not staffed so no way to resolve on spot, had to drive extra miles to grab a friend's dolly. Mobile check-in took 30 minutes extra as the locations GPS apparently does not match what's in Uhauls system, moved 50 feet to other side of parking lot and it worked. I'd highly recommend using a location that is staffed for resolution of problems and to avoid their mobile check-in. Now I will need to deal with U-Haul customer service to have the $7 dolly fee refunded as they did not provide one.Terry F.

I had a really bad experience trying to get the rental where I needed it. Apparently the pick up location was change and I had no idea. Once my brother arrived he was told he was at the wrong place and had to travel a other 40 minutes to get the truck. O e lady who called me was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. Very bad customer service. Cost me more mo eye than needed due to more gas, more travel time, and all my brothers wasted time. I will never use Uhaul again.SHEILA L.

Make the 24 hour self pickup process easier and actually put gravel in the parking lot where trucks are. They were parked in MUD and almost got stuck, plus our shoes got muddy....Warren B.

Nobody at the location to talk too. It took 3 attempts to get in touch with someone. The back of truck was open. I talked to the Lady four different times to verify the check in process. She assured me there was no problem. The next day someone from U-Haul (not from that location) called to say I was late picking up and had no record I even had the vehicle. This location was not my first choice. Only go to this location if it is absolutely necessary. Worst experience ever!!Jerry M.

There was damage to the truck that we rented. It was noted on the back of a small form that was stapled to the rest of the contract. The damage involved the cap of the truck and possible water damage to things being moved. The day we rented was rainy and this important information was not even pointed out to us. As a result, we did experience water damage to a few pieces of furniture. I didn't even see the notes about this until after our move.Brittany C.

The location called me 20 minutes til 9am. To tell me that I was scheduled for a 9am pick up and that I had to be there by that time because she was needing to go do some farming.. ?? My vehicle had broke down on me on the road and I had to figure out in 20 minutes how to get to their location from where I was or I would have to be scheduled at another location. She couldn't print my contract because her printer was out of ink. I was rented a 10' truck and a toll dolly and sent on my way. She rented me a defective toll dolly to travel 330 miles in and closed. By far the worst experience ever!!!! My 4 hour trip turned into an 8 hour trip.Katherine T.

We got there and it was a muddy gravel lot, and nobody was there, so after waiting a bit, I called the number I found on a key return box. I told a lady that we had a reservation and were there to pick up the truck. Her response was, "Are you sure?" Um, really? yes, I was sure. she finally got there and rented us a truck. We started the truck and the engine oil light was on, dents and dings everywhere on the truck, very poor condition. The second was not much better, but at least it didn't have the light on. and no cruise control, which stinks when driving 800 miles.Teresa B.

I had to meet the staffing at a specific time since is does not have staffing there on site set hours. The individual was early and very friendly, but when making the arrangements to pick up I was told I could not be late. I felt as though they forgot who was the customer. . I also did not like the get it at 30 dollars cheeper if you take it 50 minutes from my destination to drop off. That amount of gas would exceeded the savings to do U-Haul a favor.STEVE M.

Attendant be on time and a lot more user friendly. The truck should have been made available at the UHaul a mile from our house instead of driving across the county which increased our own mileage on personal vehicle and the cost of the rental. The vehicle's air conditioner stopped working 20 minutes into the trip. Then it began pouring out hot air regardless of the settings selected. Made for a very miserable 300+ mile trip.MELANIE R.

The only problem I really had with the equipment is the mirrors. U-haul should have upgraded the truck to include electric mirrors. If I had of been alone, I would not have been able to get the mirrors adjusted properly. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied with the equipment. Pleasantly surprised from the last time I needed to rent a unit. I will definitely rent again should the need arise.Suellen M.

Interstate Mini Storage worked very hard to get me the truck I needed for my local move. My problem is with U-haul, NOT with Interstate Mini Storage. U-haul wanted me to drive miles out of my way to pick up the truck I needed and I refused to do that because there is mileage charged for each mile you drive! This seemed totally unfair and I refused to do it. However, as I said, Interstate Mini Storage worked hard and made sure the truck I needed was there for me and for that I completely commend Interstate Mini Storage but and VERY, VERY disappointed with U-haul and will never use U-haul again. I have always had much better luck with Penske and will go back to using them and them ONLY for any of my future moves.Tara O.

The website says the office is open from 8am to 4pm. No one was in the office when I stopped by to pay for the trailer for that days reservation which was at 11am. Waited until 8:20am and no one showed. Call several numbers and reached a very unprofessional woman who even after speaking with many times never gave me her name. She said she was out of town but someone would be there when we were scheduled to pick up the trailer. We paid cash but we would be unable to pick up the deposit that day as NO ONE WOULD BE IN THE OFFICE. Drove 90 miles the next day to get the deposit, Once again NO ONE WAS THERE. My husband called the woman and she explained we would have to get it yet another day. As of today there was once again no one in the office. Contacted the woman and she had left the CASH deposit IN THE TRAILER for us to pick up because surprise, no one was in the office. Contacted Uhaul live chat who apologized, said the office was supposed to be open and gave me the regional number. After a few minutes on hold with the regional office I was disconnected. Today I waited over 10 minutes just to speak with a rep. After the 10 minute mark I just hung up. Do not bother renting here. No one will be there to assist you. The trailer had to be swept and mopped before I was comfortable placing my belongings in it. There is a $10 cleaning fee if you return it unclean and mentioned as such but it was not with my deposit. I wouldn't get a storage unit either. Sure they have a small gate but there is plenty of room on either side of it for a large truck to drive through. Close your business, change your hours or hire someone if you can't be bothered to open your place of business.Thomas J.
