The person handling my U-Haul truck return was informed of the inaccurate odometer reading when I departed from Williamsburg and apparently did nothing to change it. Leaving the premises, I thought everything would be OK. I later received an email and was charged an additional 4 cents on my credit card. Because the initial odometer reading of "mileage going out" was inaccurate, I was unfairly charged the extra fee.

Tammy was wonderful to work with. She could clearly tell that the other U-Haul rep had not set up the dolly appropriately. Was very informative and explained things well. Even her associate was great and generally concerned with my terrible experience.

There is no point in having the early check in option. When I came to pick up the truck I had to provide all the same info that I provided when I did the early check in. Not to mention, my reservation was incorrect from what I initially put in which caused a delay in the truck pickup

I had originally reserved this at Farmville sporting goods. When I arrived I was informed the did not have one for me and U-Haul should have notified me. He provided a number and when I spoke with a customer service rep I was treated like dirt as I was trying to explain what I was told. “Not my problem and I don't need this” we're some of her comments. When I told her I had already booked another one with JJS she basically hung up on me. It was absolutely appalling the treatment I received from both sides. JJS was great but everything else about this experience is forgettable to say the least.

I returned the rental truck a day early (inside a 24hr window) was still charged for 2 days. And the website when originally looked up drop off location, had hours of 8-5 or 9-5 but No attendant was present.

They were unable to get help from Corporate and I waited for an entire hour then finally had to complete the transaction from my phone I was WAY behind due to the incompetence The store allowed smoking inside The truck had been smoked in It was a TERRIBLE experience

I had an issue scheduling through the u-haul website. I scheduled several days in advance, received confirmations by both e-mail and text, no indication there would be an issue with my pick up on the date/time I originally requested. A u-haul representative (not from JJ's), I think a regional person, called me less than 24 hours before I was scheduled to pick up my truck and said I would have to drive more than an hour away to get my truck (JJ's in only 15 min away). However, she got me squared away for a new date to pick up at JJ's and JJ's took great care of me!!!

The online check in and check out can require more time than most first time users can bear. Reduce complications and require mandatory reading of notes, by all employees.

First truck had check engine light on, second truck smelled like pee and had dog hair all in the cab and dog slobber on the door glasses. The wiper blades on the second truck were worn out and useless, the trucks do not have cruise control. Be a cold day in hell before I use them again.

Overall very friendly place. The staff and all patrons all seemed like family. Numerous patrons came in concerning other matters and everyone was pleasant and nice. Staff was really helpful and made the experience much nicer than I've had during previous rental locations.

Over 60 miles from where I requested. When I got there nothing was ready. After the trailer was put on the truck I was left to figure out how to put the car on the trailer.

Should not have gone to this location. Traveling an hour to pick up a truck was was completely inappropriate. Changing the pick up location repeatedly was grossly unprofessional. Very bad experience but not the fault of the Farmville location.

This place is terrible. they charged me for a late fee which never existed, i returned the truck 24 hrs ahead of time. When I called to see why they did that I was informed that my contract had been closed out and there was no record so they had to call me back. they called back and said it was a mistake on there part someone didn't realize blah blah. I then called and spoke with Wes Pitts the District Manager for the Farmville area, who said that he will process the refund and it would be back into my account within three days, he gave a reference number but this was all complete BS. this all started on Monday June 3rd and i have made multiple phone calls to the the uhaul company 6/5, and today for the third time 6/7 and for the third time nothing has been resolved no money refunded into my account. This is very unprofessional, and you do not play with people's money like this. I will no longer be doing business with you guys, if i do not get my money back this will become a BIGGER PROBLEM than it is NOW
