Truck had road grime from previous rental. Truck was clean inside cab and inside box. Truck had 1/2 tank gas which led me to over fill for my trip, no refund for the extra gas over the 1/2 tank volume.

ALAN CBait and switch with the rates, you provide both addresses and U-Haul doesn’t provide enough miles, resulting in hundreds of dollars in extra costs. Be honest U-Haul- do better!
Bill CRental on the app was easy. Security guard helped on pick up. He was helpful and nice. However, every time I called no one picked up. Upon drop off I could hear the lady inside one the phone. After multiple attempts on the ring doorbell and knocking I gave up on the drop off. The app was not uploading pictures so I tried to discuss with them but never was able to ever speak too or reach anyone. Will not go back to this location and will advise others not too as well. App saved them. No phone or in person available. Sad.
Ryan VOnline hours stated that they were open. When I got there, the open sign was on the door but it was locked and no one responded to knocking or using Ring doorbell. Did drop on using on line app but because of the location, there was poor cell signal and it took a long time to upload pictures of the truck. I would not recommend this location for drop off.

Robert WNO ONE CAME TO THE DOOR WHEN WE KNOCKED. TOOK A WHILE TO ANSWER THE DOOR. NOT A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN JUST WALK IN TO THE OFFICE. DOOR SIGN STATED IT WAS OPEN BUT DOOR WAS LOCKED.

Daniel SI got there to pick up my trailer at the appointment time, 4:00pm. The office was closed. I called and they said they closed at 3. He came back (which was nice) but could rent a trailer because I/he did not have the proper wiring. After driving to 3 more UhAul dealers, I never found the wiring. So I never rented a trailer. Then 4 days later, I got a call from a UhAul dealer in San Diego (where I was planning on returning the trailer) saying, “where’s the trailer? It was supposed to have been returned by 4:30. I informed him that I never rented it. I found out that it said that I HAD rented it and I had PAID for it. It was a big pain in the butt. I think I finally got it taken care of.
Stan SThe U-Haul employee installed the trailer incorrectly and my husband needed to redo it before we left. The manager even called us to confirm we fixed the issue because he could see it in the picture the employee took. The employee also had the trailer so close to a rental boat that we couldn’t pull out of the driveway, we had to drive the opposite direction and loop around to get out. He seemed more concerned about leaving his desk than helping us.

Paul HI don't think the service could be improved. Pick up and drop off were efficient and quick. I was renting a trailer; I didn't lift a finger; the young man from U-Haul handled it all. I am a senior; I am from the world of doing business with a handshake. Obviously, things aren't done that way anymore, but it sure felt like the people at this location have provided, and do business in, that trusting atmosphere.

Chris CI had to drive 45 miles to drop off the trailer as I passed 2 facilities close to my storage location. No one was there to receive the trailer ( on a 1 1/2 hour lunch break?) Had to call main office and left the trailer on the side of the road.

Teresa SStaff was friendly and helpful, but the trailer was parked along the roadside under a tree. It was filled with leaves, branches and dirt from recent storms, so I had to clean the trailer before being able to use. Running lights were not working and I had an issue with the brakes pulsing intermittently when empty.
Andrew CFirst, I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour trying to get your app to work and they said they were having problems with it. I was standing out in 40° weather at 6:30 AM freezing my butt off until they were finally able to get it taken care of, then when I got my truck opened up, I had ordered 24 moving pads and only had 12 because you guys were not open I could not get more and ended up running out during my move and had some things get damaged because I did not have pads when I got back to the U-Haul to return the truck I told the gentleman working there about it and he said oh my bad I thought you made a mistake in order too many and so he only put 12 on instead of the 24 I ordered completely poor customer service when he just laughed it off in my face
Chris AArrived on Thursday to pick up the trailer. No one there. Some how they found someone to facilitate my contract. Next night I arrived to drop the trailer off. Guess what? You got it, no one there. Horrible experience! Don’t ever rent with UHaul in Cameron Park. Total Loser!!!!!!!!

William HI wasn't originally sent to this location. My confirmation sent me to another address who told me that they did not have a reservation for me and that I should go to a different location for my pick up. THe address they gave me was a residential home, not a business that has U-Haul trailers. Luckily, we spotted some trailers along the road on our way into the neighborhood and went back there to see if they could help us. THis ended up being the correct location. Guy was pretty nice and attentive, but the store front is quite run down and smells really bad inside. Upon bringing this trailer to my home after loading it full the trailer came UN HITCHED from my ball!!! This was an EXTREMELY dangerous situation and could have caused serious injury! It was late at night and luckily we were just down the street from my home. Calling on a couple friends and getting a car jack to lift the neck of the trailer but the socket would NOT fit over the ball to re-attach. We had to do quite a bit of fussing with the joint to have it fall back onto the ball. I don't think this was connected properly when we rented it, as it's insane to me that it would just pop off so easily and be so hard to put back on.

RICK FThe truck battery died six times on our two-day trip from California to Washington. We had to call AAA twice and relied upon the kindness of strangers with jumper cables to start the truck up the other four times. U-Haul was less than responsive to my situation, my concerns, and the dangerous situation their faulty equipment placed me in.
