Terrible service, long wait even when booked in advanced. No one could answers questions pertaining to the UHAUL. The uhaul only had half a tank of gas when we received it and we only went 3.3 miles and dropped it off and the person in charge of the uhaul was yelling at me to fill the tank like I received it but the problem was I did not receive it with a full tank. The straps needed to secure my precious items were non existent in the truck after we made sure to let them know that it was very important to get a truck that has. Lastly, not following COVID guidelines the TRUCK EVEN where the driver and passengers were suppise to be was absolutely filthy, and sticky. So disgusting. If we could rate stars it would be a 1/5 and 1 because the truck got me to my destination and back.

U-Haul needs to talk to the people working at that gas station. I went there to pick up the keys for my rental and they kept insisting me to call the customer service number. After about an hour trying to get through the customer service I had the manager call them and they took my business. Terrible experience from both the gas station and U-Hauls customer service.

The representative needs to do rentals on a computer and not a phone. Also, the representative needs to ask customers if they want insurance and not just place it on their contact. I declined the insurance during online check-in, but discovered I had been charged for it when I got my final bill. This is a poor display of customer service and in my opinion FRAUD. I am highly disappointed.

Reserved a medium truck and dolly weeks ahead of time. The location told me they didn't have my reservation even though it was confirmed with U-Haul. The guy at the counter kept letting customers go ahead of me at his deli. I was 45 min late for my move. He finally gave me a small truck, no dolly. BS! U-Haul shouldn't claim to have reservations when they don't. I would have hired movers, bought a dolly, or gone with another company had I any notice.

the owner requested we turn in the uhaul early for a fictitious second renter. he then charged us an extra cleaning fee even though the entire truck was clean as we hired pro movers and we personally dropped off the truck. we drove it for NINE miles. that's it. we are going the legal route.

Waited an hour b4 truck was turned over. When we recieved the truck unbeknownst to the proprietor there was a homeless gentlemen sleeping in the back and we had to wait 15 more minutes.for it to be cleaned out. The proprietor seemed to be more concerned about his lotto business. The restroom was far from sanitary. Not sure why i was sent to this location i have used uhaul many times and the location at foster ave and kings highway always provided excellent customer service and a clean caring enviorment.

Customer service was horrible, being nice would be great. The truck should be ready when customers come , not homeless people sleeping in the back. The person who is assisting you should not be treating to overcharge you if you are extending your rental. After all is more money for the company. The vehicle air condition must work, especially in hot days.

Terrible all around. I had a reservation, and was not notified until my arrival time that the truck was not available. I was sent to a different location, had to pay for a taxi, and then it took 45 minutes for me to navigate the app while "waiting for approval". Car was dirty with old gloves and garbage in the back.

It was incredibly disappointing that Uhaul changed our pick up location the day before we were scheduled to pick up our vehicle. This location was significantly further away and it really threw off our plans to have to travel so much further to pick up the vehicle.

Representative at drop off location was very unprofessional, she refused to check the mileage and conduct a drop off inspection then I received a bill for going over mileage, but I was not present to verify .

They overcharged us adding coverage that we did not ask for. At the pickup they claimed they could not find our reservation and made us reconfirm, which is when they added the coverage altering our reservation without permission. When we dropped off the vehicle they didnt check it in and refused to give a receipt because they had overcharged it wasnt until much later they actually checked in the vehicle and only received the receipt by email to see the overcharge. They were very aggressive and feigned ignorance about how to do uhaul rentals.

Person at location was somewhat friendly, but not very knowledgeable. Wound up being late for a moving job due to employee's lack of experience . Was also charged $45 fuel charge after putting fuel in truck.

This location'a staff are unfair, dont seem like they know what they're doing. Don't bother asking the employees for their manager because the manager does not care about you or what you need to use the Uhual for. This partner location didn't have enough trucks, manager was nasty/unhelpful, and threatened to overcharge me. Literally going through a whole thing with this location now. Only go to the real Uhual (solo) retail locations. Trust me, if you're originally planning on going here, the extra drive to the next one is worth the wait.

Van door was broken before being used and would not close for my use. When returning the van and explaining the situation, the uhaul attendant became irate, instilling a hostile environment, tried placing blame on me and saying it was my fault. The attendant then said there was nothing he could do, he would have to speak to a manager. When asked for his superior's contact information, he would not disclose that information. I am disappointed with the service. I would like a full refund.

I was charged for an utility dolly which I never received I informed the clerk that I didn't receive the dolly and he said he would take the charge off, he never removed the charge and I was charged for something I never received (they robbed me for $7.00).

The U-HAUL system was down so I had to wait an hour (including calling UHAUL. myself and being on hold for 30 minutes) before I could finally check out the truck. Also, the tire pressure was on from the moment I started the truck and it stayed on even when I put air in the tires myself.

Ensure the U-Haul trucks are locked so there is less trash in the back of them from those who aren't renters. Have a sign so pedestrians don't park in front of the U-Haul vehicles delaying pick-up times.

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! RENTERS BEWARE AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS UHAUL LOCATION 1. UPON RECEIVING KEYS, NO CONTRACT WAS GIVEN TO SIGN/REVIEW. 2. TRUCK WAS DIRTY WITH TRASH ON THE BACK AND DUSTY ON THE INSIDE OF THE COCKPIT 3. UHAUL SERVICE REP DID NOT END CONTRACT, VERIFY GAS/MILEAGE UPON RETURNING VEHICLE ON TIME/ NO DOCUMENT GIVEN TO SIGN. 4. ENDED MY CONTRACT THE NEXT DAY, HOURS AFTER MY TIME LIMIT FOR THE RENTAL AND ADDED AND BILLED ME FOR MORE MILEAGE AND GAS FRAUDULENTLY. THIS LOCATION HAS BAD WAY OF DOING BUSINESS. DOES NOT MEET UHAUL STANDARDS.

Customer services was horrible and slow at this location. Got to the location at 10:30, didn't leave until 12:30. After I made the reservation on line, I took 40 minutes after to get the key. After I got the key it took another 15 minutes to take pictures of the uhaul.

Have everything ready for appointment time of pick up. I had an 730 appointment I didn't get truck till after 9am. I lost alot of time in what I needed to do.

Took 40 minutes to verify my license. Was never offered ez fuel option so I had to pay 45 dollars when I returned vehicle. Vechile also had candy wrappers and empty cigarette boxes in front.

Dropped off my truck 02/17/2020 @6:30 pm only to receive an email stating that I dropped off my truck on 02/18/2020 @3pm. What an error! They also charged my bank for the extra day.

Open reserving I booked a dolly,got to the location to learn that I have to pay for the dolly separate from my rental and then got pulled over by the police for the uhaul only had 1 working headlight...then upon returning a was running a bit late and got charged a $40 late fee,I asked if the late fee could have been waived because i got caught up in traffic upon returning but that couldn't be accommodated

The location was great. What was NOT great was the fact that I reserved a truck for a different location. U-haul contacted me less than an hour before I was supposed to pick it up saying that there was no truck (despite the fact that I "reserved" one). If one wasn't available, they shouldn't have allowed me to "reserve" it. To make matters worse, the customer service rep I spoke with on the phone was awful and terribly rude. As a result of this ridiculous error on the part of U-haul, the entire timeline of my moving plans were thrown off. Furthermore, I had to pay signficantly more money than I anticipated because the new location was farther from my destination (higher per mile fee and higher gas expenses). The worst part is this is the 3rd time this has happened to me personally and I know plenty of people who have had similar experiences. Get yourself together, U-haul.

Uhaul failed me when I reserved a specific truck, was told it was guaranteed or $50. Not only did they not have my guaranteed reserved truck, where's my $50? On top of that, the check engine light was on the whole time and when I told the guy at the counter about it he said dont worry it's good. I ended up with a 10 ft truck when I needed a 15 and the whole time I was driving the death trap, it struggled to start everytime I would park it and take the key out of the ignition. It dragged on the street and just felt unstable. I was scared. I had to do extra trips because my stuff didn't fit in that tiny unsafe truck and it made my move longer and more physically taxing. I will NEVER use this company again.
