The customer service provided here doesn't get any better. I called Rick when I wasn't able to reserve the truck online (due to an issue with the U-haul web site). He helped get my reservation and also made it possible to return the equipment at this location as well.
Don't represent that the insurance will be $14 then turn it into 3x that amount. That was disappointing. Especially after you said my insurance wouldn't cover it??
The location was okay. The truck was clean, but the lock box lock was stuck!! It took over 30 minutes to get it unlocked and then I had to rush to get things moved because no one could extend our time an additional 30 minutes. Was disappointed by that very much! I was also on hold the whole time trying to get it unlocked so wasn't able to talk to anyone. I tried live chatting and I was told there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to pay more, even though it wasn't our fault.
Employee did not explain drop-off procedure. We were told we could drop off rental truck at ANY location, but found out we had to drop-off at a location 15 miles from the house. It wasted at least two hours of our time, including over 30 minutes on the phone with U-haul changing drop-off locations.
would prefer hourly rates or 1/2 charges for short trips
1/2 day rentals would be a great option
I dropped the truck off, locked the truck doors and put the key in box. I was on my way.

We dropped off after hours. We were unable to use the online check in for drop off due to problems with the U-Haul website. We phoned U-Haul and spoke to Sarah who was very gracious and helpful.
It was a pleasure to deal with this location. Very professional and worry free. The manager was quite helpful and I was very pleased.
I called and was helped with a customer service rep and she was great. I was extremely happy that we would only be charged an extra $40 to keep the vehicle an extra day.
Will use this location in the future.

It was never mentioned that I had to return the truck with a certain amount of gas. The truck was given to me with below a quarter tank of gas. I have never rented a moving truck before but I travel frequently and rent a lot of cars, and all the car agencies are always very specific about gas usage and what is required for return. I certainly think that should be mentioned as part of the moving truck rental process. I feel I was overcharged for refueling and will try a different vendor for future moves.
I was not contacted by UHaul to let me know where I was supposed to pick up my trailer.

Drop off: closed
The trailer we rented was located at the bottom of a steep incline. It was located on uneven gravel. I had to back down a rather long distance to hookup and return the trailer. I had no help disconnecting the unit upon our return. We had to place rocks behind the trailer wheels.
THEY TRYED TO HELP ME RESOLVE THE 50.00 ISSUE THAT WAS TO BE PUT BACK ON MY CARD.
