None of the UHaul staff were wearing masks. It was a small space and when they spoke with me and other customers they opened the window separating us - breathing on me 1 foot from my face. I felt my life was at risk. I asked that they put on a mask and was ignored. UHaul needs to require their employees who work with the public wear masks. It is unconscionable that they don't.

I did a self-return on Sunday, Oct. 11th but the APP could not find my location (the APP asked me to share my location to makes sure I was at correct Uhaul). My location setting was ON. It would not allow me to skip this nor proceed to upload pics. I left the truck and called Lil Pete's the next morning to see if I had to go again, but he said all was ok and truck had already been returned. Employee emailed me the receipt. HE was helpful. The APP needs to have option to skip "share location" setting or be able to skip it.

Doesn't a rental company do a walk around of the truck and vehicle trailer before a customer leaves the shop to make sure they are familiar with everything? I was surprised and disappointed that they simply gave me the keys and sent me on my way. What if I loaded my vehicle on the trailer incorrectly and killed someone?

I had to wait 35 min for truck to be brought from a remote location. The U-Haul online sign up was awkward and difficult. The staff at Lil Pete's did step up and get me on the road when they by-passed the mobile sign in.

I was charged 66.00 cleaning bill for a white piece of plastic that in the truck when I received it. I small band aid on the floor of the truck.

Gas tank was empty. 3 check engine lights. 1st location reserved a local when I requested one way. No truck available so had to go to another location 11 miles away. Counter person was on personal call and made 3 customers wait.

The process of getting the truck was outragiously complicated. I hope I never have to use Uhaul again. THat's how bad the process was.

Had the worst experience picking up my truck. I would have cancelled if I had another option but since it was so last minute,I had no choice. The app didn't allow me to pick up my truck. My reservation needed to be verified and it took half an hour for someone to get to that. Then the reservation suddenly disappeared from the app so I couldn't get the keys to the truck. I waited on hold for another half an hour for anyone from customer service to get to me. Then the person helping me just kept telling me to restart my app even though that obviously wasn't helping. She didn't know how to actually fix anything. Eventually the poor hertz guy came out and changed my reservation to another truck so I could at least get on the road. But it took him another half hour to do it. And it's not his job. You guys should have a better system for actually helping when there's an issue. It put me back hours in my move. I was livid. If it weren't for the hertz worker, I'd still be trying to unlock that truck.

If the price is the same in every uhall location then people should not play with the price and bring it up. They think cause it's a women it's ok it's not. On Saturday May 23 I got a UHal from Maryland to NY paid 207 with tax extra miles came to 227. Few days later I go to Mahopac NY and they try to charge me 477.00 before that 377.00 for a 5 hour trip and I turned uhall in next day not even 24 hours . There something wrong and I will get my money back

I pre-ordered and paid for moving blankets, and was told upon arrival the day of my move that they were not available and was offered no alternated other than "go to walmart and buy them there" I placed the order to rent the blankets well over a week in advance, and was smugly told by the attendant this isn't a uhaul hub, we don't have anything, 'what you don't have moving blankets?' ..No. that is why I elected the service to rent them.. My advice: please don't try to up sell your clients at every turn on the website if you cannot deliver the product.

This place is a scam. I spoke To one of the brothers who works here. They charged me for uhaul after hours. I figured I was doing them a favor by dropping of the uhaul early to them. I even Said I would Be dropping it off early and at no point did anyone tell me there was a charge. But waste of money and the guys who run this are a scary and full of BS. They don't tell you the info you need to know and people end up wasting their hard earned money. I ended Up renting a uhaul for $29.95 and only used 20 miles on it. When it was all said and done I spend over $120 to use a uhaul for 2/3 hours. What a waste and a scam. Never again will i go there for any services. When I called The guy he said I dont Mean to be a dick but those are the rules and I can't control what uhaul does. Not even let me see what I can Do or maybe I can Help. All he said was I don't mean to be a dick and basically read. Thanks for nothing !

The office was fine. However it was a few miles from the actual lot where the trailer had to be dropped off which is in essentially a rundown old farm with a bunch of dilapidated vehicles and buildings all over it.

No one was at the location when I arrived. After they finally arrived I had to wait another 45 minutes for them to get the truck. The mileage and gas was wrong.

I would definitely never rent from Lil Pete's U-haul again. On September 29 I rented a van for two hours at 8am. 1. The first upset was the office was not open at 8 and no one arrived until 8.21. This is annoying for 2 reasons i. One doesn't know while waiting whether anyone will pitch up at all. ii. If one has hired help, they stand around idle as the clock ticks by. 2. I was told that because we got a late start I could have the van for longer than the two hours but it had to be back by 12 noon which it duly was. It was returned at 11.40 am. 3. The invoice states that the van was returned late [1.35pm] which it was not. 4. I did exactly 5 miles in the van, but was billed on my credit card for $78.00. 5. Since returning to South Africa I have tried to sort out the problem over the phone, but either no one is in the office, or what happened last time I got the following reply: “I can't help you, I don't know who you spoke to and you will have to speak to them” – then whoever I was speaking to put down the phone.

9am pick up.no one showed till 10am didmt leave till 1030 so hour amd a half behind schedule..so returned truck hour amd a half.late amd had the nerve to charge for late.dropoff..really? Gas was replaced to half.tank they state it was 6 gal short and charged $25 for gas..Again are u freakim kidding me..all.kids.in office had nothing reserved like the dolly i requested had nothing there at location mind you this was booked 2 weeks in advance..bad manners..bad business in my opinion..this is not over yet!

Do not use Lil Pete's. They're rude and they lie. We were overcharged and they said they would be putting in a refund request with my credit card company; which they never did. Because of Lil Pete's, I can honestly say I will never use U-Haul again.

Have rental at pick up location instead of having to drive to another location. Staff changed my drop off location somehow. It was supposed to returned to the same pick up location but after leaving I noticed the return location & price changed. Price more than doubled.

When vehicle was picked up there printer was broken so they couldnt print me a contract. So it was emailed to me. He gave me the keys I went to the truck and took videos of full truck (for insurance purposes) jumped in the truck and started it up. Decided to check the email to make sure the fuel was at the correct level like most uhaul places have u do. Upon opening the email the fuel was supposed to be at 1/2 tank, which it was not. Fuel was actually at alittle over 1/4. I went back in to let them know there was an issue and no one was there. Within 5 mins place was shut down for the day. 20 mins before scheduled closing. So I took the truck and moved the 1 item i had to move. After returning the truck I only went 5 miles on the dot. Fuel was put back to where it was when i picked it up. I contacted uhaul and emailed them the before and after photos of the fuel. Now my card is being charged for things it shouldn't be. Originally was supposed to be $38. Now I'm being charged $122 dollars. This is ridiculous. You can keep the extra $80 for your ridiculous fees that should not be applied. With that being said I will never ever use uhaul again! I've rented prob 30 hauls in the last 8 years! Never had an issue till now!!!! Sincerely. Upset customer

Everything was fine at this location. The only recommendation I would have is with mobile app check-in. I was in the middle of checking in and had a problem with key lock and had to call U-Haul. When I went back to my phone, the check-in said complete. I could not go back and finish. I still had not confirmed odometer and fuel, however, it assumed I did. There should be something to go back in and complete check in if you should go out in error.
