Excellent service at Lock it Up Storage. The gentlemen who assisted me was more than courteous and extremely professional. He helped me find the location where my Uhaul was located (it's across from the main building) and was very accommodating. The van was clean and well kept. I'll use them again!

She worked with us to get the best deal for a 15 foot truck- in this way we were able to deliver over 1,000 boxes to the regional center for Christmas delivery to children in need around the world. Only delay was the credit card console which is very glitchy and kept freezing. The young woman/staffer apologized often for it and was competent with working around the glitches. She was very nice and extremely helpful.

Only thing I recommend is put a green light on the dropbox during the night. For new folks, sometimes missing the obvious can be so obviously missed during long hours of moving. Other than that... OUTSTANDING!

I was told that a truck hitch would be provided but I don't remember who told me that so it might have been my mistake. Maybe that should be mentioned when marking the reservation.

I was left standing at the counter for about 30 minutes while attendant was taking care of a trailer. Once in it only took 30 seconds to get me out of there. Maybe take care of customer before engading with another when u know it will take time to get them squared away.

The after hours location was a little difficult to get in to and only a map was proved to get to it next door. There was very little room to turn around.

The person working on June 15, 2019 was nearly unable to rent the truck. The computer was giving her difficulty and it took almost an hour for me to get a reserved truck. In addition she told me I could drop the truck anywhere then charged me an extra fee for returning it to Fredericksburg. I did this because my wife needed her medication which was in my personal vehicle. She has a poor attitude, she's inflexible and seems inexperienced with the U-Haul software. I will never return to this location. I could not possibly recommend this location to anyone.

I was told the time I rented the vehicle was the time it had to be returned. This was not true as we discovered when we went to pick up the vehicle. Plans had to be changed because the vehicle had to be returned around 9:00 am. I thought I would be able to return it at 5:30pm. It messed up our whole day.

Original location provided by UHaul for truck pick up (Kaz Automotive in Stafford VA) did not have the vehicle I reserved for pick up despite the fact that I had reserved it with them and received a email from UHaul the day before, designating their location for pick up. When I arrived they informed me that they did not have the vehicle I reserved and handed me a phone number to call to locate the vehicle, rather than trying to find it for me. They were not at all helpful. The final location where I picked up the vehicle was very helpful.

The only confusing part of renting from this location is where to park your vehicle if you're the only person picking up the U-Haul. There are limited spots in front of the actual office. I parked where the U-haul trucks were stored, but space there was limited, too. I was just hoping I did not get towed, so I left a note that I had rented a truck for the day. Clearer instructions on the parking policy would be awesome.

My issue is more with the fact that I went online to schedule a rental of a trailer at 10AM and I was called at 2:30PM that one was available at 3PM. I was in the middle of moving and needed extra storage, I waited until 11:30AM and then left. If the item is not available when I want to get it, then say that, don't let me choose a pick up location and time if either of those are available. Show me where I CAN ACTUALLY get what I am looking for and WHEN so I can make a decision instead of leaving me hanging for 4.5 hours.

Location is very clean and convenient. Twice the office seemed to be closed but staff were on site I walked away twice. The 1 tire strap on the two wheel dolly would not release twice causing a delay of 2 hours nearly had to return it unused

U-Haul should advertise it's charge per mile a little better (but that's a corporate issue). That being said, the Lock It Up Self Storage location was very convenient. Cory and Tabitha were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use this location for any future local moves.

I had a great experience with the Lock-It-Up Temporary Storage on White Oak Road in East Fredericksburg when I had to store household goods in connection with a house move. Recommend highly.

We have used Uhaul numerous times and we were so disappointed with the location that we rented the Uhaul from. We had reserved the Uhaul and picked it up the following day from Tabitha, who gave us the keys and was friendly. We were halfway through the move when my wife and I had numerous missed calls from the local company stating that we had “stolen the vehicle and it must be returned immediately” - after calling them repeatedly only to get sent to voicemail, we were highly confused about what was going on. The company had our cc on file and we had followed the normal procedure as we always have when renting a Uhaul. We lost an hour of time with the hired movers as we paused everything trying to get the situation sorted out after being called criminals. We are still uncertain of what happened, we feel like this was handled in a very unprofessional manner that cost us time and created an extensive amount of unnecessary stress.

The U-Haul drop-off location is different than the address listed. There's a map on the side of the building, but that required me to drive down a relatively narrow side street, back up, and turn around to get to the proper location. When you arrive at the location, it isn't immediately identifiable that you have the right location.

I will no longer reserve early on line because every time I have done so I have been assigned to pick up the trailer from somewhere other than the place I chose online. From now on I will only reserve in the actual store I intend to rent through. I do not care for the online experience.
