I did not have the furniture dolly I requested in the truck, so it made the move more difficult. This could have been verified before my arrival. Otherwise, it went smoothly and I had no problems with the truck.

The only reason I would rate this uhaul location highly id because they had a uhaul available after uhaul unexpectedly changed my pickup times from 8am to 8pm. Luckily this location had something available otherwise I would never use uhaul again.

Really appreciated the phone call from the lovely woman who told me the code for the key box and set up the Uhaul facing the street so it was easy to find and drive. Excellent service all around!

Have keys in lock box , I canceled my reservation all together because there we not keys in the lock box, the location was closed therefore I should not have been prompted to pick up at this location. Not impressed

Had no idea where to park truck, I pulled into what looked like an auto dealer the guy opened the front door of building and yelled from his chair to just go ahead and leave the keys in truck. The facility looked more like a junk yard than a uhaul rental/auto dealer.

Make sure the trailer is hooked on right. Popped off my ball and hitch on a major highway. Hade to call state police to help out because you guys were taking to long to get back to us

You need to Disclose the $20 "sanitation charge" to your customers beforehand. I'm rating this "location" as 5 stars as the staff was friendly and the truck well maintained, but I believe it's U-Haul corporate pushing this "sanitation charge" onto consumers during this already tough time. The fact that this "suprise" charge was added to my bill when I returned the truck has left a horrible impression on me. If it had been openly discussed and disclosed ahead of time, I would have had no problem with it. It was the fact that you though it was O.K to just slip that in there when I was already exhausted after moving, and returning a truck late a mt night. Will not be using U-Haul again after these shenanigans.

Inform customers at the time of picking up a truck the procedure for returning it after hours, rather than just sending the customer a text about the after hours return procedure. Or, at least inform the customer he/she will be sent a text about the after hours return procedure.

I had reserved the trailer at a different location but when I went to pick it up they told me I had to go to this place to get my trailer. Which I thought was bs . The people at Madison Auto Trim were very accommodating.

Friendly and customer experience should be improved with more assistance. The dolly was not in the truck. I had to put it in myself. Gas was almost full. I returned it full. Location was hard to find.

The mobile check in process took far too long to complete, feel that there are many steps that could be done prior to arriving, such as taking picture of licenses etc.

I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to clear the snow off the van after I showed up. I would have thought they'd have it ready to go by the time of the appointment.

Make sure the tires are inflated properly. We were driving in 0 degree weather and needed to keep a constant watch on the tire pressure on one of the tires. Moving is stressful enough without fearing a tire failure out in the middle of nowhere in sub-freezing temperatures. I had to air up the tire within several miles after picking up the trailer.

Trailer hitch has been gimmy rigged and 15 minutes into tow, trailer broke away and went rolling down the three lane highway. Sat on the highway for four hours waiting for the trailer to be towed and then went to pick up another trailer. Pictures were shown to the U-Haul contact person with emergency services with U-Haul. It was very obvious that the trailer hitch was dysfunctional. Very fortunate that no one was injured on the highway, or that my son wasn't injured either. His vehicle was damaged though. We were told that there would be a significant discount and U-Haul has not contacted me to discuss what that amount would be.

My only “issue” is that the area is a bit congested. It wasn't very hard to maneuver the truck around, but it could have been easier. Overall though, the staff was helpful and the site/truck was clean.

While the location itself was great, and Dexter was super accommodating to my late arrival, this was not the location I indicated when I reserved the truck. I had to make extraordinary efforts and rely on friends to get to the pickup point.

The location was convenient but not the easiest to drop the trailer off and the staff was not efficient in getting my rental in a timely manner. The trailer lights had a short in them and one driver side marker light would come on and off. It also caused my cruise control to turn off when the lights were on.

This location I have no complaints about but My first location that I was to pick up at Bad Apple Tattoo was different. This location was not open when I had to pick up my keys so I had to do it online. This process took over 20 minutes to do and end up with no truck. I followed the directions to get the keys for the truck but when I opened up the key box no keys were inside. For the amount of money that I spent on this rental I would expect better service. I was supposed to get the truck at 9:00am but did not get one until after 10:00

The truck & trailer were already hitched when I arrived to pick everything up. I un-hitched them to get the truck loaded, as it is a lot easier to load w/out a trailer in the way--they let me park the loaded truck there overnight and had the truck/trailer hitched up again for me by the time I came back the next morning. Really helped speed up the process.

This drop-off place is difficult to rate as we did not see a person while dropping the truck. We called the number on our contract to see where in the DeForest/Madison area we should take it. This was on Sunday, March 3rd, approximately 1:30-2:00 pm. We were told to take it to the Wayne Terrace place in Madison. We wanted to drop it at Conifer Secured Storage in DeForest, but was told that place was full and could not take our 15' truck. We were told to park the truck at Wayne Terrace facility where it would not be in the way and just drop the keys in the drop box....nothing else to do, the keys would tell them that it was our truck and apparently log the date and time of drop. My son took a picture of the time and place (he dropped it on Sunday, March 3rd, at 3:55 pm). What a shock to find an email upon our return home yesterday, March 6th, with a statement charging us $56.97 additional as it indicated our return date and time was March 4th (3/4/2019) at 11:49 am!! Since it was picked up on 3/2/2019 at 8:57 AM, we actually had until 3/4/2019 at 8:57 AM to return it. I immediately called the Customer Service number for U-Haul and issued my complaint! The facility at Wayne Terrace definitely did not follow through with our drop in a timely manner! Please be aware of this if any others plan on using their facility. I am waiting to hear from U-Haul that this problem has been corrected and the $56.97 has been removed from our credit card!

Can't be too harsh on this location. It was hard to find with no signs to help guide but he said they JUST opened and since I had trouble locating it that they would put UHaul signs out.

Staff wasn't aware of my reservation. Key wasn't in key box. Fuel had wrong level recorded as starting amount so I was wrongly charged $14 fuel even though I refilled it HIGHER than it was when I picked the truck up. I was told I would receive a call about the erroneous fuel charge within a couple hours — nada. Will be charging it back through my credit card!! I'm sure they're nice people, but I will never use this location again. It was a nightmare from start to finish!!
