The rental was a debacle from beginning to end. The 24/7 rental was not available as promised. the call center failed to keep it promises to resolve the issue. the local agent was entirely unhelpful. I'll never rent from you again.BRIAN L.

MailStop man lied, which means he likes to take Americans(this one, of course)money. Did not need insurance as he took 20$ for that. Charged EXTRA mileage before use of truck. Lousy un-American people do real Americans as they do each other in their own country. Being nice to them is weak and dumb, so they take advantage of you before you know it, and right after. Same thing every where you go now. America loses because of people like this.GLORIA D.

On the surface the vehicle was clean, but with covid, the truck was definitely not sanitized. Cup holders had dried up soda or something. The touchable surfaces were not clean. I.e., steering wheel, door handles, radio knows and vent controls. I took lysol wipes and cleaned it all. Definitely not acceptable.Ricardo G.

I was charged for a full quarter if gas and when I recived the U haul it was already half way. So I ended up paying for extra gas that I didn't usejasmin V.

NEVER rent a truck in this shop. Every time when I need to use a truck, Uhaul is my first choice, but that was my first time being charging an after hour service fee. I rented the truck in 15:40, and returned back in 19:05, less than 4 hours using that truck. When I picked up my truck, I was NOT told that there would be an after hour service fee. He just told me if the shop was closed at the time I came back I could just put the key in the box, said it's 24-hour service. Then, the shop was closed at the time I went back, I put the key in the box.(It's a very tiny shop with really a bunch of service provided: USPS, UPS, Fedex, Uhaul....very hard to find when picking up the truck btw.) However, I got the bill the day after rental day, there was an After Hour Service Fee for 20 dollars in my bill. I called the location for an explanation, and I got a lot of complaint about how busy he was in daily routing, how many things he needed to do everyday in that tiny shop, how hard for him to hold the Uhaul service during COVID-19..... ????????? I can't believe that's the words I heard from a shop manager in America.Cheng Z.
My experience at my drop off location wasn't that great. The address was Mail Stop 6017 Snell Av San Jose, CA 95123. I was charged $40 for additional day, which was not absurd. I returned the uhaul truck nearly on time. Yes, I was late 17 minutes only because I was in line to be checked in. Per the worker â€œShawnâ€ at uhaul Mail Stop, when I called him about why I was charge for the extra day, he explain to me that it was accidental on his part and that he doesn't know why the computer did that. Shawn said he will refund it by today within a couple of hours. It's almost three weeks and I have not received my refund or heard from Shawn. Truck was rented out at 10:05am on 6/19/2020 And Returned at 10:22am the very next day on 6/20/2020. There's no need to charge me an extra day. Please see see that I get my refund of $40.00. The rental took over an hour to pick up. The windshield wiper did not work and it was sprinkling that day. There was miscellaneous wrappers in cabin I threw out. I dropped off the rental with more gas than I picked it up with and now I'm getting charged and additional fee (not sure for what I placed an email to cust care) The online pickup system seems great in theory but the service dept had me wait 45 minutes just to tell me to retake my photo of my ID in order to pick up. Also when dropping off the vehicle the poor quality lock stopped working and a very nice representative trieed to help but that took another 30 minutes and I still had to drive an extra 8 to 15 miles to drop off the truck at a different location.Verenice R.

I was a few hours late, I didn't realize I'd be charged for a whole day. I won't use Uhaul again, I had to pay and extra 61 dollars. when I picked up the vehicle in Santa cruz they were over 45 minutes lateMichael H.
