Easy drip off. A little far from my destination. I passed the drop off point on the way to my delivery location. We passed another location that was closer to my destination on the way back from dropping off the truck. I left a hat in the cab and called the staff members whi found and held it for me to retrieve. They were very friendly

Folks that ran this location were great. They had to help me get the truck rented when U-Haul’s 24/7 System failed. Waited over 40 minutes for verification after I logged in on site to rent the truck. Also called into U-Haul and was on hold for 30 minutes on the phone with no answer

I had made a reservation 2 months prior to the day of my move. On 08/29/19 @ 6:50 pm, Uhaul called me and informed me my truck would not be at my location and I had to travel 40 minutes out of the way. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!!!!

One of the worst experiences of my life. Very poor management charged extra money had to spend a day on the phone to get it back. Will never rent from U-Haul again

Okay, so, this location was nor where I initially reserved. I initially reserved picki-up for the Carl Eller Road location in Mars Hill, which did not have my truck available despite my reservation. The man who helped us at the first location was hostile, rude, and at points was practically yelling at me and the two who were with me. He was not particularly helpful at all. He tried to get us out the door as fast as possible, and told us that the Marshall location would be expecting us. The Marshall location didn’t seem to know we were coming when we arrived there. We were held up there for another hour and a half due to computer troubles with our rental, but the employee helping us there was great and friendly. He even helped us take the tow away thing that was attached to the vehicle. Despite our troubles he was really patient and friendly and I’d recommend this location over the Mars Hill any day. Although, we were double charged during this whole ordeal and we hope to get that resolved soon. I would highly advise U-haul evaluate the Mars Hill location, because the treatment we received there was awful and the man working there was not sympathetic and was just very hostile despite us being patient.

The whole experience was a nightmare. It started a week prior with website issues and multiple phone calls. Followed my self pick up app not working costing us 2 hours of moving labor we payed for on your website. We had to drive an additional 45 miles to get a truck which added unneccesary mileage and time. Truck ended up leaking on everything. Customer service was poor during app, Brandon just stopped respoding and when we called, we were told it was our fault.

Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had. We were supposed to pick up a truck on Friday evening...truck was there, app wasn't working, no keys to be found. Talked to DM, and no one could get in touch with the owner. When we went to get the truck the next morning, my boyfriend went to talk to the owner while I checked in via the app. The owner told my boyfriend he wasn't going to rent him a truck (that I had already paid for) because he didn't like his attitude, and told him to get off the property...after shoving the iPad in my boyfriend's face. I went in and spoke to the owner, who said we weren't in the system even though I had the truck and reservation number on my phone. He called the DM, who told him to give me the keys to the truck. The owner then decided to dispense some dating advice and tell me that I needed to "find a man with a better attitude." I will not be returning to this location, and will deter anyone I know from going there.

There was a problem with the positive traction on the vehicle and it could not make it up my driveway. I had to hand unload and walk it up 125 inclined driveway. Not very pleased at all. The check engine light was on when I picked up the truck and now I know why.

The truck was not inspected before I rented it because there was a hole in the roof and it was very dirty from hauling plants or something of the sort. I had to sweep it out and on the second day I actually had to use a mop to soak up the water that rained in during the night. Location was very friendly.

The address that was given to me by dropping it on my cell phone, took me a location along a railroad track next to the french broad river. He is actually located on the By pass of Marshall. I called the location several times to inquire about hours and got answering machine each time. Left vm, no return call. that was on Saturday. His business name does not match what his sign on building states, so this was confusing as well. the only business sign there was carolina carports. Thankfully there were several U-haul vehicles there and customer support ensured me that this was it b/c they only have one U-haul agent in Marshall. He needs some basics in business 101.

I was met with very friendly service, however there were a few issues. The blankets, dolly and hand truck I reserved were not on the order, although she did locate a hand truck and blankets for me. The truck was very dirty and the windshield was so covered in grime that I had to stop at a truck stop and scrub it with a long-handled squeegee. We didn't go over the pre-existing damage on the truck, which I didn't think about until after I left. This made me nervous that something would come up on the return that was pre-existing but no marked with a sticker (fortunately I received the invoice and everything is fine).

I returned the auto transport early the next morning, I did not even have it 24 hours today I get a bill charging me for an extra day. Since it was a holiday weekend they charged me extra since they were not open or did not check their returns. Still waiting on a return call from Marshall General store.

Took equipment into town for festival, and needed the uhaul to bring everything back saturday afternoon. I had a trailer reserved, but when I arrived saturday afternoon , they had closed and locked up. I was left high and dry.

I had previously intered into an agreement to rent a trailer at Zink's Outdoor Equipment in Mars HIll, NC. For some reason this agreement was not honored. According to Zinks the U-Haul company overrode the agreement wilth me and the equipment I had reserved was given to another "customer". Mighty, mighty sorry of someone! For Shame! For Shame!

nobody was there to rent the truck on time. My receipt was hand written not printed by a printer. I was supposed to pick it up at 8am and they weren't there till 9am. VERY VERY DISATISFIED

find a different local u-haul agent. The facility was laughable, the agent arrived an hour late, the equipment was substandard, and it took 45 minutes to process my order in spite of the fact that I had gone through the online procedure to place my order. i thought Penske was bad until my U-Haul experience; now I realize that there is always something worse out there.

The Marshall General Store was not easily seen as such in fact had it not been for the U-Haul equipment outside the establishment I wouldn't have known this was indeed where I was to drop it off.

The location didn't answer their phone. Always had to leave a message. Took extremely long for them to call us back. The wife of the owner called, she said she didnt have an reservation information for us at that time. I told her i would call her back wifh the confirmation number- -I called her 7 times on her cell, no answer. & twice @ the business-no anzwer either. Very very disappointed. Have used uhaul. Many time & never had this type of experience

Pat didn't know how to use her computer and printer to process the two 26ft trucks, auto transport, and appliance dolly. The whole process to get this equipment that was reserved a week prior to pickup took a total of 3 hours. Her area manager was rude and wanted to know how did I expect him to help me when he was 150 miles away. Their place of business was sloppy and unorganized. It seemed as though Pat has trouble frequently with processing reservations that customer service at Uhaul is tired of helping her through the process over the phone and I just happened to be the customer that was on the receiving end of VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This truck had a warning indicator on the dash and did not display mileage when I rented the truck. When I returned the truck they sent a receipt with a charge for nearly 200 miles. I drove seventy miles (70). I have never had a bad uhaul experience before but this is unacceptable!
