I have never been demanded to return a vehicle because I was over the estimated time of use. I was told in the past that Although I provide an estimate usage period I really will not be expected to return a vehicle until I approached 24 hours of use! The demand was obnoxious and I will not be utilizing this company again. Perhaps that was their objective!!!JEFFREY C.

I was just there a little longer than expected. They had to find the key, but they were very friendly and helpful and were going to get me a different truck. The key was just put elsewhere then what was stated. No big deal there. My only complaint from uhaul themselves, is that this shop was a little farther which added more miles. But hopefully I get to review the return, that gonna be a different story.Lynne L.

I'm positive that I was charged for fuel when I returned it at a quarter tank like I was supposed to. The man working said I normally take pictures and went through his phone and said I didn't take one of your truck. How convenient. . He said I would have to dispute the charges. The customer service at this place was very poor , the owner want d me to take the trailer to a different location and told me , that he did not have to receive the trailer at his location but the lady there talked him into letting me drop it off at this location!!! I picked it up in the rain and there was no one available at the time to hook it up for me. When I returned it I expected to park it and unhook it myself. However, a tow truck driver came over before I could even get into position and took care of it without being asked. I was so grateful!Carol D.

Warning lights showed the tire pressure was low, I returned with the truck to be told it was ok, not to worry The back lift gate continually got stuck in the open position and was extremely difficult to close, my hand was pitched repeatedly because you had to push your hand in to maneuver the latches I reserved 2 dollys and nothing was available but I didn't know this until pickup timeLidija L.

The internet was out when I went to pickup my truck so I had to receive my contract by phone, I returned my truck at 5:15 to find out that the Uhaul portion of their business was closed so I had to complete my check in on my phone via uhaul.com/share which I did but apparently it didn't go through, even though it said complete, so I was charged an additional $20 because Uhauls app is garbage. I will pickup equipment at a Uhaul center in the future to avoid businesses that don't have hours that accommodate turn ins at 5:15 on a Saturday.Roger B.

Honestly, the equipment was fine and the location and location service was fine. However, I am sick of the terrible customer service from UHaul HQ. I was given the truck in a location on the other side of town; given the equipment two hours late because you all overbooked it, and then you all have the nerve to charge me a $20 afterhours fee even though I returned it on time (early even). THE WEBSITE SAID THEY WOULD BE OPEN ON SATURDAY TILL 8PM - STAFF WAS AT THE LOCATION BUT TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT OPEN FOR U-HAUL. ASK ME TO PARK THE TRUCK ON THE STREET AND DO SOME KIND OF PHONE CHECK IN. THE STREET WAS FULL OF UHAUL TRUCKS AND OTHER TRUCKS. MARK IN METRO WAS KIND ENOUGH TO TAKE THE TRUCK AND MOVE IT TO SOME PLACE. I WAS SO UPSET THAT I WAS TOLD TO PARK A RENTAL TRUCK ON THE SIDE OF A STREET. NOT SURE WHAT KIND OF COMPANY UHAUL IS AT THIS POINT. THE TRUCK HAD PROBLEMS AND I DON'T SEE ANY WHERE TO LIST THOSE- IT WAS DRIVE-ABLE BUT NEEDED MAINTENANCE FOR SURE. THE BILLING WAS ALSO NOT CORRECT - I WAS OVERCHARGED. I UNDERSTAND SOME OF THESE ISSUES ARE UHAUL ISSUES NOT THE METRO TOWING PLACE.Ronald T.

The truck break was so hard to push. I need to apply a lot of pressure for it to stop and I had the impression that it wouldn't stop in time and I was going to hit someone. It was awful and I felt unsafe driving it. The amount of pressure I had to apply during my trip hurt my knee and it was very painful at the end. This truck needs to be fixed urgent before someone gets hurt. Now that my trip is over I feel relieved but preoccupied with the next person who will rent this truck.Rogerio T.

I couldn't complete the equipment condition checklist online when I picked up the vehicle. I tried to upload a photo of existing damage to the passenger side lower panel to the cargo deck and it wouldn't upload. It the crashed. Maybe, a physical inspection with the Uhaul agent processing the handover could be a useful backup?Michael O.
The person at the counter was not helpful at all. I could not return my vehicle when I showed up at the time I had been told (8 am). Upon coming back later as instructed (9 am) I was then told that I had not returned the vehicle properly and would be charged an additional $20 fee for not dropping it off during business hours. To be charged a fee when I dropped it off the night prior when they were not open and then I show up when they do and get charged a fee for having left the vehicle there is the most insane thing I have ever encountered. In addition this location had to be the most unclean and unsanitary location to walk into that I have ever encountered. After this experience I simply cannot recommend that anyone use U-Haul for their moving needs if this is the kind of service I can expect in the future. This location needs to improve their customer service. First they did not have the truck that I had reserved, I had to wait 30 minutes for the truck to arrive, which inconvenienced my time. Secondly they charged my account before they knew if they had the truck for the reservation. Since they didn't have the truck, and I had to wait an additional thirty minutes, she never explained that my money would be refunded. When I came back to get truck after thirty minutes then she told me and asked to charge me again. My account was charged twice and the first charge had not been refunded. Third they did not document the gas correctly, it was under what they put on the paper. Lastly there was a cigarette left in the truck. I'm not sure if I was getting this treatment because of my race but I didn't feel welcome and the service was horrible.Janelle C.
