Got overcharged with added on insurance that I didn't originally ask for when I booked the uhaul, as well as a charge for something called "MI". The front desk lady couldn't explain any of those charges and refused to help me remove them.Michael P.

I booked the van for 5 hours giving me until 10:30PM to return the van. The office closes at 6PM, so I clarified with them how to properly drop off. They have key box. I followed the instructions and dropped the van and key off at about 9:50PM. They then billed me for an extra day of use, saying that it was dropped off late and the office was closed. Thankfully, I took a video with a timestamp of me dropping the keys off. I had to call the main U-Haul line and spend 30 minutes explaining myself and sending the video. They ended up returning the cost for the extra day but avoid these scammers. The workers are very nice to your face but then not helpful after the fact.Ahmed H.

I booked pick-up at 1:30pm, it was confirmed by rental location / UHAUL. Van was not there, I received it in DIRTY condition at 2:10pm, 40 minutes late, putting my own schedule at risk. Rental location made no attempt to resolve situation, merely recommended to complain directly with UHAUL. Overall, a very disappointing customer service experience. This seems to be a mother-daughter business. Mother was polite but helping customers from the mechanic shop. Daughter who helped me was a bit rude and had an attitude with me. She lacks good customer service. She was not friendly at all. They need to tighten operations in that shop. I got a dirty car. Mother said it had been returned late, paid a late fee, and was a mess -I guess dealing with those renters-. In any case, I said I was moving a beige sofa and I did not want to move it in a dirty car. Daughter said there was nothing she could do. I wanted a different van. She said it was impossible because the rental was already running on my time. She had a worker go sweep it; I said, "well, I guess the cleaning is running under my time." In any case, I had such an awesome experience with my prior rental in Hallandale. I thought I was going to have that same type of service. Disappointing. In addition, there is no parking in the premise which I was concerned about my Cadillac. I had to pay for parking and did not feel my car was in a safe area. When I requested a printed receipts, the daughter said her printer was not working. I give them 2 out of 5 stars.MONICA L.

The passenger side door lock was broken, the cab of the truck couldn't be locked. Very clean and very friendly and professional staff at the U-Haul location. They have an after hours key drop-off box. Excellent. I will make that location my #1 spot for U-Haul rentals.Guy F.

This is a car repair shop with a couple Uhaul's parked on a city street nearby. Battery in truck was weak- struggled to start several times which made me anxious that I'd need a jump. AC only worked at maximum fan volume. Moving pads I pre ordered we're not available.Brett P.
Arriving at the location the truck was not inspected from the previous lease â€“ upon self inspecting the vehicle it was noticed by myself that the rear liftgate tailgate had been broken by the previous customer and was now off the track with its cable broken. Upon notifying the venue hosting, the individual said I could not take the truck and advised corporate, it being the 30th (end of month) they were obviously no other vehicles fitting my size requirements and therefore being stuck with a smaller unit than needed. As I'm moving into a condo unit within a high rise building, I have a set move out and move in window. Now I'll be forced to extend my lease by one week in order to remove all items and re-schedule elevator times. This may result in taking my business to another rental providerCHRISTOPHER M.

They overcharged my credit card a late fee. I returned the truck the same day I picked the truck up. They did not show it as returned in the system until the next day after my return time. Very disappointed. I also did not get the promo uhaul promised me. They charged me full price.Christopher C.

They did not look at the vehicle before I got the van. It was almost empty and I took a picture to prove. And then after I drop the van off with less miles that what I estimated and more gas then what I first got. They then try to charge me for 750 miles and the gas difference. I will be disputing this as they have falsified the information. Worst place ever to rent and will never do it again.CHRISTOPHER A.
