I had a reservation for a 4x8 trailer and two days before my pick-up, they notified me they did not have that trailer. I had to take a larger trailer 6x12 and pull it from MI to MO. This was very difficult and it costed extra gas and wear/tear on my truck to pull. I requested an additional 12 hours and they said no problem. When I arrived in St. Louis, they charged me an additional day. I sent in a complaint but have had no response.Craig M.

Tell the person returning the u haul equipment that they will not see a sign for Oceana Auto, but rather it is a totally different business... something like Trading Post... can't remember exactly. There might be something stuck in the window that says Oceana Auto, but when driving by you would never notice that. I can't believe there is no place in Ludington, MI that will take a U Haul trailer!Kay H.

Great and helpful staff. The only negative is the building is a Mechanics shop and as such isn't the most inviting. The counter area (where you get helped) was tidy. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and immediate help!CATHERINE M.

The Uhaul facility in Escanaba hooked the trailer up for us so we had no idea how to unhook it and we received no assistance from the staff.Brandon C.

The insurance I purchased was not as described. Towing, jump start etc were Not included. I was charged $300.00 to get my truck and trailer unstuck when the trailer hitch got stuck on driveway. (bottomed out)Mark M.

I had my rental back on Sunday at 8:15 am, was supposed to be back by 9am. According to the App it said I had to be back by 9am. The link in the text I was supposed to use for deop off was on Eastern Time so at 8:15 I was late and the text link expired. Just one more way for Uhaul to charge another fee I'm sure.Bradley Y.

Clearer communication. They have 2 pick up locations. When I called the day before my reservation to confirm a woman told me I'd have to come to the Hart, MI location to pay, then go to Pentwater location to pick up. The day of pick up I went to Hart and learned that I could've paid at Pentwater location. The Hart location was very nice and hooked me up right there so I wouldn't have to make another stop. I've rented a truck from here in the past and the auto place is very cluttered and dirty. The previous rental experience was slow and long. This experience was much better as it was quick. The service is good but the place itself is not great. I must say thought that it's one of two in the Hart area so I didn't have anything to choose from.James S.

I reserved my uhaul a week ahead of time, the day before pick up I got a call from a representative out of Grand rapids telling me that I had to drive 30 miles out of my way to get the truck. The representative was rude, constantly interrupting me, and should not be working in customer service.Diane W.

II know we called at the last minute to get a truck and we appreciated that we were still able to rent one. When we arrived 1 hour after reserving the truck the credit card information that they had taken over the phone had not yet been transferred to location so drive had to put on his own credit card. He was not very pleased but did it so that we could get the truck. Truck also had to be dug out from a snow bank so took a little longer to pick up than what we had hoped.PETER M.

The truck was in the worst condition of any Uhaul truck I've ever rented. The interior was definitely dirty, but not horrible. The exterior was quite scratched, dented, and rusty. The side mirrors shook/vibrated so badly that there was no way to actually see what was behind you (for lane changes) at speeds over about 35MPH. The truck loudly squeaked and rattled the entire time, and the exterior gasket around the windshield ripped off while driving down the highway. There is no possible way that I would have accepted this truck for anything beyond a fairly local move. Very disappointed...Jeremy F.

I can't believe U-haul would contract with this place. The people were helpful and nice but the shop was extremely dirty, smoke filled and terrible condition. They couldn't get my card charged through the system and had to call the regional rep twice in order to get it done. I would never rent from this location again.James S.
