They called 30 min prior to our appointment (while we were driving there) to tell us our truck was unavailable. They offered us a smaller option for the same price (what?). We accepted, because we really had no other choice because we needed to move out and were on a time schedule. Needless to say, we did not have enough room in the van they gave us and needed to make multiple trips with our own vehicles to and from a 45 min location. Also, they told us our drop off was a 24/7 location and it was not. So then we had to figure that out, which thankfully there was a location nearby that was open for another 45 min. Needless to say, either schedule way in advance because maybe that will help ensure your vehicle OR be prepared for unexpected changes. Made our move WAY more stressful and time consuming then it should have been which is the last thing you want to deal with on a move day. I will say that the lady Jamie, at the postal annex in Temecula was great and very nice and empathetic about everything!!Cosette E.

We returned the truck with an extra 1/2 tank of gas and received no credit for the extra gas. No one explained when we rented the truck, that they no longer credit us for extra gas upon return.. This should have been explained! Will not rent a truck from this location again. We only used it to move a dining room set and the truck was way to expensive for the project!!CRYSTE M.

I say that I wouldn't recommend this location, but I think it would be SO much better if they just had a bit of training and a better attitude. The people I dealt with there also seemed COMPLETELY disinterested in helping U-Haul customers. This was made even more evident when I realized that the appliance dolly that I reserved wasn't in the vehicle, and their reaction was basically, "Oh well, I guess you'll just have to get a refund. We don't do anything with the billing part." Disappointing.Jeffery R.

The worker (Jaime Davis) was excellent, however the fees for Fuel Fill-up fee $30 + another EZ Fuel Sales $19 (a total of $49)? I feel I shouldn't have not be charged for fuelâ€¦during this Coronavirus pandemicâ€¦U-Haul should not be nickel and dime usâ€¦I feel cheated. I only drove less than 4 miles the gas was still on a quarter tank of fuel so I felt lucky. $49 dollars fees for Fuel Fill-up is taking advantage during this crazy timeâ€¦I was just delivering supplies to Goodwill. The truck it was not working good. The truck was emty on gas they tollme if I bringing with gas they were going to give me credit. And they didn'tMayela A.
I went in and told the clerk the gas was not at 1/2 but at the notch below. She said she would correct the contract. She said they close at 3. At 2:47 the store was closed and locked. She did not say I would have an online check in or pay $20. I found out 2 hours after I returned the truck in an email. The gax was not corrected and I was not sure if I needed to do anything else at that time. The keys were put in the box at the rear entrance where I picked up the truck. I am very disappointed in my experience at the postal annex location.Danielle D.

One of the worst experiences ever. The truck was absolutely filthy. It had ants crawling inside the cab. The truck looked as if it had not been washed in months. I'm still having issues with the billing, I was charged 3 times for the same rental and I have tried calling the postal annex and I keep getting the run-around that someone from U-Haul will call me to resolve it but the have yet to do that. Make after hour returns easier. Inform customers what information they will need to provide BEFORE logging into UHaul.com. The $20 after hour fee is ridiculous! -- particularly when you close so early on Saturdays. Special commendation to Michael Leer (regional manager) for his individual attention in assisting me. He was a great help and went out of his way to assist. He deserves a pay raise!James M.

I received a quote of $20.00 less than I paid from Ashley. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told it would be $20 more than I was quoted. Ashley was not there when I picked it up.HERMAN K.
This was the perfect answer to the dilemma of getting something too big and bulky for SUV transport delivered to our Postal Annex location. Easily managed with a 2 wheeler and the Mrs. and we had our delivery completed and the van returned within a couple of hours. Thanks for the Postal Annex and U-Haul partnership! LAJLance J.

Initially I discovered an issue that could not have been known by the renting outlet, however when brought to their attention, they promptly replaced the vehicle with another, and the rest of the experience was first rate. Even issued a rental credit for my inconvenience. I would highly recommend this place if you need a rental. My overall experiences with Uhaul have always been great, and this was no exception. When I received the van the back cargo door was cracked open and inside was bottles of urine, wrinkled up toilet paper, pills and trash. Obviously a homeless person had been living inside previously before i rented the vehicle. If i had not been crunched for time I would've returned the keys right away and gone elsewhere. The U Haul truck I rented, had a cut gas line.So as I was up in Aguanga, way out on 371 hqy ,towing my trailer. No gas,even though I kept putting gas in.kimberly V.

The truck (#1178) was filthy inside; papers, empty water bottles, old napkins etc. The shock absorbers make the truck bounce all over the road and sway terribly on turns. Very unsafe.BOB H.

The truck did not had gas what so ever . We had to push the truck to gas station and then they charge me 3 times one time $ 33 dlls then charged me $99 dlls and I had one more charge for $ 113 if I wouldn't caught the mistakes on my credit card They want to charge me that much. Was called the day before and told that the keys would be left on the ramp. We wasted over a half hour looking for the keys. The keys were actually left on floor on the drivers side with the passenger door unlocked. There was broken glass and an empty beer can in the back. The mileage fees and taxes were hidden charges in very small print. I will never use Uhaul and make sure to tell all my friends and family how poor our experience was.victoria K.

I called three (3) times to confirm the location and price. Was told each time the location and options, specifically that there was some special/promotion going on and the 8/10 foot truck and the 15 foot truck with the ramp were being offered a the same price: $19.95. As I was moving my 94 year old mother-in-law from a medical re-hab to an assisted living facility, I opted for the 15 footer for convenience. When I arrived to pick-up the truck, I was given the price of $29.95, no explanation other than the U-HAUL computer would allow no changes and they couldn't explain the difference, as they were not allowed to access the U-HAUL program. I took the truck as I had no choice due to time constraints, but I am not certain I shall use your company in the future or recommend it to others. $10.00 is not significant; honesty and integrity are.SID G.
