It was a well-used rental truck not clean. Paper on the floor of the truck and the front window seemed smudgy on the inside.. Although we weren't concerned, because of COVID others might have been concerned. We like this location and have rented many times and will continue to do so.

You guys changed the location that I used to do my reservation. I picked the location I did because it was near me. Because you changed the location, It cost me almost $30 more in costs than I had planned for. I had no choice but to deal with this change because you gave me about 24 hours notice and you knew that with such little notice I would be forced to accept it. This is a lousy thing to do. I hope I never have to use uhaul again.

Alignment was off, transmission was sluggish. Gears 1-4 would only shift after hitting 4500 RPMs, slight smell of cigarettes.

I recommend putting the drop box in the back of the building where you want the trucks parked. You are setting your customers up for failure. The threat of getting your Uhaul towed if you park it out front isn't very inviting either.

I had the first and last bad experience (bc I will not rent here anymore nor my family) I rented a vehicle from here and after going through the the prompts and not being able to add a photo immediately after nor being able contact after hours on a Sunday that there is something wrong. I continued and figured I would just advise the rep. The next business day. After showing the representative the photo and automatic photo data tag that contains the the time and location of the photo taken it was dismissed with no regard. I was charged for something that I did not do. For the manner this was delt with gas left a very negative taste. It not about the fees as much as it is about the way this was taken care of or lack of. Similar situation happen 10 yrs. Agos and I still paid but the customer service carried out 10 yrs. Ago was what customer service is all about. Extremely dissatisfied with this location's service.

I stepped up into the cab and was overwhelmed with the smell of a smoker having used the truck before me. I am surprised no one sprayed the cab and opened windows to air it out.

The inside of the truck was not clean and there was something had been wasted and dried on the seat. The strap that holds the U-Haul dolly is too thin I hit the dolly just by pushing a dresser up on the truck and it broke, I was told that if the strap is broken you will be charged money for it. That's trapped is so thin it can be broken very very easy. Overall I have used U-Haul for 30 years to move people the vehicles always run good. I have never had one break down on me and I always come back because the prices to rent the trucks are very affordable.

Accessing uhaul truck is behind shopping center and when returning there wasn't an official uhaul spot available for the return. Just had to park in 5 or so car spots. Really didn't know exactly where to park.

The staff here is very friendly ! The truck was clean. The process was easy. If you are looking to rent a truck, this is a great place where you can rent your truck. They have other services too so it was a one way stop for us. Definitely will be renting from them again in the future ! Thank you Kristine !

The girl I returned the vehicle to was completely rude and unprofessional my gas was over the line of where I picked it up and she was arguing with me about it and tried to snatch the keys out of my hand. I will not go back here and will advise everyone against it. I parked it back in the lot overnight as they said I could to return and finish my day with it the next day and parked exactly where they told me and first thing in the morning got a call saying I didn't turn in the keys and was in the wrong spot with Way too much attitude when I already said my plan was to leave it back there overnight but keep the keys for the following day since I had until 3pm! Horrible.

The staff was fine, but the truck was dirty. Not a big deal though. What was a big deal is that the regional center tried to switch my reservation two days before my pick up. This was wrong because I did everything right. I reserved the vehicle six weeks in advance and some other place double booked with no real warning or time for me to change plans. I protested and got my reservation back but no call from a supervisor as I requested. But, I did get my truck so all's well that ends well.

The parking lot is in the back of the office but there is no signs there showing where the truck should be parked, it took me a while to find the box to drop the keys because of that reason.

The vista location was great but the location where I made the reservation in San Marcos off via vera Cruz in brake stop shop was horrible bad customer service they need to close that location down, so unprofessional and rude. It seems like they're not intrested in doing business.

The truck MUST BE REPAIRED! There is a problem with this vehicle. Perhaps it is a clogged fuel filter - I don't know. The truck "stutters" and shakes as you drive it. It is DANGEROUS in heavy traffic. It almost becomes unresponsive when it is doing that. I rent 4 to 5 times a year, and have never, before today, felt afraid while driving one of your trucks. PLEASE get it in for maintenance. Scott Gregory

Everything was great. Two reasons for the 4 star rating. One - The windshield was very dusty and when I utilized the windshield wipers and fluid, it spray into the cab and the water/solution smelled of sewage. It was disgusting. It sprayed all over me and into the cab. The cab of the truck and my arm smelled of sewage for the rest of the day. The smell was so rancid I nearly threw up while driving. I'm sure windshield fluid is something that is small and easily forgotten, but that completed ruined what was a pleasant rental. Two - The drop off box for the key was all the way around the building, which yes the employee had made sure was communicated to me. There should be a drop box by the back door similar to the box where you pick up keys. Walking is not the issue, safety should be taken into consideration when asking a customer to walk alone in a completely empty back lot when the sun is going down.

the Place I reserved the truck ended up not having it. I was then asked to go to a different location. That location had the truck but didn't have the appliance dolly or blankets ready. They had a dolly but only a fraction of the purchased blankets. They offered a refund, but I declined. I needed the blankets. They called around and sent me to a third location to pick up the blankets.

Very helpful staff at postal annex location, helped me get in contact with border control checkpoing on 5 freeway to see if a 15 footer must stop for inspection. I want to bring your attention to an employee at location (Tuskers automotive) where my pick up was scheduled for originally. I believe her name is Celeste. She was extremely rude, confusing, and unprofessional. Specifically, she called an hour after I already received a call from the new pickup location and said that my truck was no longer available. I explained to her that I already received a confirmation call, and instead of clarifying the situation she basically threatened to cancel my reservation. Very poor customer service on the part of Tuskers.

When I drop off a truck that's clean and fueled I don't expect one of your minimum wage employees to bitch about the sweep job in the box and actually tell me I need to do it over again. With the money I dropped, it's there fucking job as far as I'm concerned. I'm going with enterprise next time.

I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul from a different location but they were not open. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told my reservation was cancelled. What a horrible system and customer experience. I got a new reservation but then the gas price went up 20 cents per gallon from what I was quoted on the original reservation. I had no choice at that point to go with the new cost. I won't be using U-Haul again.

Pickup at Postal Annex in Vista was easy and fast since I used the U-Haul app to fill out the paperwork fast. No problems with pickup, dropoff or hidden charges. I would definitely use it again.

Please let people know that the drop off location is in the Postal Annex Service Center. We did not know that and had to call two times.

Guys were goofing off and put 1/4 gas tank. The gas tanker was a little lower than 1/4. I put the exact same where it was at and got charge $40 something dollars. The day we rented the uhaul the guy asked use what drop off location we wanted to use and we told him which one. Later that day we got a call from Uhaul lady and she said there was no drop off location in the screen and she asked me what it was. We told her we told the two guys. Unprofessional and out $40 something dollars. We have used them twice before this. We will have to find a new rental service. When we called the lady acted like we didn't put gas. I think the guys didn't do their job properly. I didn't think when the guy wrote 1/4 on the paper and he gave it to us with the line was a little less it mattered. Or I would have had him write 1/8 of a tank because it was not 1/4 I put gas to the same line as it was. The lady I spoke with was rude and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Very very disappointed, upset and frustrated!

My initial location at SynFast was confirmed on guaranteed. U-Haul changed my pick up location without notice. A 10 foot truck was at Synfast,without being logged in, and through some shuffling on U-haul's part I did NOT get my vehicle and pick up location as promised.

Our moving company bailed on us at the last minute, We were scheduled for a 8:00am move on Friday so we were scrambling trying to find a uhaul and AMANDA helped us locate one so we were able to move on saturday and sunday because of her. She called a customer that was suppose to returning it back at 9am on Saturday, but they wanted to keep it another additonal day so she called other locations trying to see what was available. Amanda went above and beyond the call of duty and made our move possible. Thank you Amanda :-)

I was charged for fuel excessively. The agent working there completely marked the wrong level. Moreover, she told me that there was no reason for me to wait around while she processed my U-Haul return as the receipt would just be emailed to me. This rubbed me the wrong way as I could not stick around to watch her assess the fuel level.

Called them to request information on their rental costs/inventory they took my number down said they would call back before the end of the day or first thing the next business morning. They did not. I had to call them. This store does not have a lot of inventory. In additional to the rental truck fee they don't mention the additional mileage fee. I fueled up the truck back up as when I drove off the lot before I returned it and I was charged two additional gallons of fuel. Once I was in the store to pick up the rental truck staff was professional and went over the rental agreement and that is when I learned they charged for additional mileage fee at $1.09 per mile.
