I have had truly abismal uhaul experiences in the past, not having the van or ANY van i reserved (happened twice), employees who didn't care at all about their jobs or customers, dirty vans etc. The Uhaul postal annex (Walnut Creek on Ygnacio) was FANTASTIC. The man working there stayed late for me, was super fast and efficient, made sure I understood how the gas worked and that I had the service number and his name and number should there be any problems. He, just made the whole process so calm quick and easy, I will seriously never go to any other uhaul, it's like night and day. To the man working there, a huge thank you!!KRISTIN F.

The truck was terrible! The driver's side windshield wiper had the rubber blade falling off the metal arm so it was metal scraping across the windshield. The lower mirror on the passenger door was shattered. The entire mirror arm was loose and would not stay in place for me to see side traffic while driving the busy freeways. I had to wrap the mirror and arm with packing tape to secure it. Every time I would press the accelerator, the engine would screech loudly. Likely a belt problem. Something red was splattered on a wall inside the box. Some kind of food, blood..,,not sure. Terrible!!!MICHAEL B.

A truck advertised as $20 should not cost $135 for a 4 hour period. Even with insurance and charging per mile. I'd like someone to call me at 925.787.8420 so I can reconcile the differences. Nicknick K.

For the vehicle I rented (TM1770N), please look into cleaning the driver's cabin, repairing the seat covering, and checking the engine. When I picked up the vehicle, it smelled really musty, which will concern future drivers for this vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle was unable to start at one point, which required me to call roadside assistance, adding almost an hour of more time to my move.Ryan B.

The no insurance policy should cover the vehicle damage uhaul should be responsible for that. A persons Insurance covers an accident not damage that the vehicle undergoes if it breaks down while the person renting it is using it.THOMAS G.

I saw the same Uhaul I rented get dropped off when I arrived for my pick up time and it was not cleaned out or sanitized. The person who worked there just handed me sanitizing wipes and said that they leave it up to the customers to clean up because they don't know if anyone is allergic, which is a terrible excuse. There was just a concerning issue that was resolved. When I got into the van there was a light that stated an oil change was needed in the van. I left Sam the owner know, he assured e it was ok to drive the van. It was spotless. Extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Great place to rent from.CHRISTINE A.

Pick up was not an issue. Pain was finding a truck on time and screw-up and lack of customer service to help to find one near my place and confirming it. It was very painful process, right hand didn't know what left hand is doing. No collaboration of any one whatsoever!Fari R.

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the fact that U-Haul could not keep good track of the reservation. I made a change to the reservation and went to Concord location, and the service was horrible, the lady at the desk did not make any effort to try to remedy the situation. Thank God for the Walnut Creek location in Ygnacio, the gentleman was courteous, professional and very welcoming. He made the experience a pleasure. What he did for U-Haul was a service recovery for my bad experience the day before.CHARLES T.

Not necessarily the fault of this location but U-Haul was the worst experience ever during any project. I reserved two large trucks. Had confirmation on both but did not end up with either. The fuel level shown on the form I signed on the rental agreement indicated the tank was 3/4 full but it was actually only 1/8 full. It was easily resolved but it would help if it were verified by the rep to begin with. Apart from that, service was very positive and courteous. I recommend this location.LAWRENCE K.

After following the directions on your website, I walked up to turn in the key. Instead, I found a printed sign saying I had to move the vehicle into the alley behind the store. PostalAnnex was packed with people so I just put my keys on the counter and left.Carlton H.

We didn't ask about cleaning the uhaul because of Covid And upon returning the truck we were told there is no cleaning! We were highly disappointed and regret not bringing our own supplies other than a mask! The truck should have been clean by management during this Covid time...no excusesGARY B.
