The computized booking was difficult. Took over 40 minutes to enter info as it would not except the type of vehicle that we had. It was frustrating for the vendor and certainly for us. He ended up having to call u haul and have them complete the rental processs. As we had a 5 hour drive to pick up our haul and then back again to cut into our daylight highway driving.
chrys H.The location was 150 kilometres away from where I booked the tow dolly. I was told the dolly was ready for use. When I arrived, with the dolly to pick up my vehicle I found that one of the hold down straps were broken so ratchet straps had to be used to secure the vehicle. After spending 30 minutes trying to contact customer service, with no success, I gave up. All I got from customer service was the run around. Kept putting me on hold. Passed from one individual to another.

Gerald B.U-Haul can stop being stupid and hard headed and allow their customers to drop rentals at the closest U-Haul dealership when they are finished instead of having to waste a lot of time and money to take it back where they got it. For me to drop it at another dealership it would have cost me an extra $250.00 or more and thats not being fair to the customer and because of it I will not be renting from U-Haul again any time soon.
