My review is aimed at U-Haul and not as much at the specific dealer. I would like to talk to whoever is responsible in Halifax for how customers in Newfoundland are treated. I reserved my trailer in March to be picked up in St. John’s and was told the day before that there was no trailer for me! The closest trailer was in Lewisporte, 4 hours away. Anyone travelling off the island has no flexibility. The ferries are fully booked and you can’t just make a change last minute. Again, if you’re serious about customer service and keeping your promises as you say in your ads, you need to take your Newfoundland business more serious. In my case, I drove the required hours to get the trailer I needed.
